For this purpose, detailed analyses were conducted by type of work, cause, region, day of the week, rank, age, and years of service. The most common type of fatal accident was engaged in firefighting, followed by drowning and traffic accidents. There were more fatal accidents in Gyeonggi and Gangwon province on Thursdays. There was a disproportionately high rate of fatal accidents among those in leading positions(fire sergeant and senior firefighter) in the field and those in their late 30s. Firefighters with less than five years of experience had a high rate of fatalities. Based on these analyses, this study makes the following recommendations for reducing fatal accidents. First, a strategy for responding to fatal accidents that considers various causes and factors is needed. Second, response strategies should be tailored to each region and location. Third, a response strategy for early problem-solving is needed. Lastly, we need safety education based on the life cycle.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"22 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140422289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The participants were six professors of the Department of Early Childhood Education, who formed a program to strengthen digital capabilities and conducted qualitative research on program learning and application processes to reinforce digital competence. As a result of learning process exploration of the professors for digital competence consolidation, they tried to get out of fear deriving from the lack of digital-friendliness, implemented digital devices handling methods, made creative ideas each other, and felt joy of learning. As a community with a goal of reinforcing digital competence, they demonstrated teamwork and built up knowledge. According to the professors’ onsite application exploration results to reinforce digital competence, they had child-like curiosities as they encountered digital education and tried to make good use of digital education’s positive function so that digital education can become practical knowledge in connection with early childhood education. They decided to apply digital education to the curriculum of each subject in order to enhance the preservice early childhood education teachers’ competence. Based on the study results, various communities and training for teachers are expected to be invigorated for consolidation of digital competence of the preservice early childhood education teachers.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"34 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140421660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on this, we selected the contents of some texts from among the modern Bible translations 『Chinese Union version with New Punctuation』 and 『New Korean Revised Version』, which account for the largest proportion of use in denominations in China, overseas, and Korea respectively, as subjects of comparative studies. Various aspects of vocabulary and grammatical translation expressions related to two traditional translation methods and translation expressions were examined here. This aims to help understand and interpret the style and expression content related to the translation methods of the modern Chinese and Korean Bibles by presenting the linguistic difference between the two languages and also the commonalities and differences in the translation method and translation expression according to the nature of the Bible itself.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"115 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140422234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subjects of this study are two public daycare centers located in Nam-gu, G Metropolitan City, and classes for 1-2 year olds. The study participants were 10 first to third grade students attending the Department of Early Childhood Education at G University. Data analysis was conducted through the process of data integration, domain analysis, data classification, and interpretation of classified content based on the collected journals of pre-service early childhood teachers. As a result of the study, the meaning of the experience of pre-service early childhood teachers' picture book reading activities for infants was categorized into ‘the joy of novelty and challenge in the role of teacher’, ‘gift-like interaction time with infants’, ‘growth and development’, and ‘confidence through self-reflection’. In this way, activities linked to the early childhood education field provide prospective early childhood teachers with the ability to understand infants and recognize their value. In the process of preparing and executing the activity, infant development and developmental characteristics related to the activity are connected and analyzed after the activity. This can be an experience that supports the improvement of one's teaching abilities and allows one to develop into a better teacher. In this context, field-linked activities can be said to be an effective means that can have an effective and positive impact on the teacher training process and foster teachers with practical capabilities.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140421508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, 36 preliminary statements were extracted through literature review, and then the final 29 Q samples were chosen through experts’ preliminary research. The P sample, comprising 22 counselors, was then tasked with categorizing the Q samples, and the data were analyzed using the PQMETHOD program. The result presented threefold role identity perceptions among on-site counselors for youth: counselors who are loyal to the traditional counselor role, emphasizing trust and understanding; active counselors focusing on community resource connection and problem-solving; convergence counselors employing a multidisciplinary approach. The research discussed the features of counselors regarding their role identity types and suggested the limitations and implications of this study. The research findings will serve as fundamental data to improve the system for on-site counselors and related services.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"3 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140420231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subjects for this study were 352 children aged 4,5 and Early childhood teachers in kindergartens and daycare centers in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. The collected data were analyzed through correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the study, first, there was a positive correlation between early childhood teacher’s play teaching efficacy, emotional expressiveness, teacher-parent partnership, and teacher-child interaction. Second, as a result of the relative influence on teacher-child interaction, belief in the efficacy of play teaching, a sub-factor of play teaching efficacy, was a significant positive predictor that predicted the greatest influence on all teacher-child interaction and sub-variables and seeking information, a sub-factor of teacher-parent partnership was second. In conclusion, this study is significant in that it analyzes teacher’s internal and external variables that affect teacher-child interaction together and this suggests that it can serve as basic data for developing measures to improve the quality level of teacher-child interaction.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"18 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140420336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To this end, the relationship between variables was verified based on data from 200 small business founders in Jeollanam-do. As a result of the study, the factor that has the highest influence on successful entrepreneurship in the start-up support program was education support, followed by funding. It can be predicted that successful entrepreneurship may increase as education support and funding increase in the start-up support program. In addition, in terms of the mediating effect, it was found that the manager's initiative and competency were significant for the start-up support program. In the results of the analysis of differences according to the educational support of the founder, it was confirmed that there were statistical differences in the manager's initiative, the manager's competency, and successful entrepreneurship. The implications were that, unlike previous papers, educational support and initiative were derived as meaningful results for successful entrepreneurship.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"31 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140422958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study is to present better support to field training customized for people with severe disabilities. For this purpose, the researchers employed qualitative case methodology, conducted an in-depth interview with 6 Job Coaches to collect data, and analyzed collected data through constant comparison and analysis. The findings were as follows: training assistants began their work with no previous experiences with the vocational training of people with severe disabilities, but they witnessed changes to trainees and felt rewarded through their experiences of supporting the trainees. During the training sessions implemented at the establishment where trainees would be employed, the Job Coach worked together with them by their side and supported them through repetitions and praises. The Job Coach put greater importance on sociality than vocational training and spent four hours from the start to the end of their daily work on inducing the trainees to engage in conversations or having educational talks on detailed topics such as manners, hygiene, attitude, and sexuality. They had a relationship of trust with trainees, a relation of cooperation with the participant workplaces, and a relation of mutual need with trainees’ caregivers, but their employment relationship with the employed agency was ambiguous, which raises a need for institutional and administrative supplementation. Finally, Job Coach had difficulties with excessive workload, poor benefits, unclear work boundaries, difficult recruitment of trainees, and unrealistic performance goals. These difficulties can be resolved by supporting the greater professionalism of training assistants, improving their benefits, and rearranging their identity and job assignment.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"69 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140421735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
