For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with eight novice social workers, within their first three years of employment, working in cities and counties in Chungcheongnam-do, followed by qualitative analysis. The essence of the emotional labor of novice social workers was extracted into 14 sub-components and 6 core meanings. Participants work as professionals, but the environments they work in are different from what they expected. Social workers' duties sometimes escalate into various violent situations from problematic clients, and they also experience fear of intervening in someone's life. They feel stifled by the demands of the bureaucratic hierarchy. Despite choosing this path willingly, they contemplate whether to pursue a different career but seek to rediscover their calling as social workers. They strive to grow as professionals and hope for measures to prevent emotional labor so that social workers can continue working sustainably. Lastly, this study is significant in that it identifies the reality of emotional labor among novice social workers, providing policy and practical evidence. However, the study is limited in its generalizability as it only involves novice social workers in municipal facilities in the Chungcheongnam region.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"335 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140417374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result of conducting in-depth interviews with 14 Generation Z female college students regarding childbirth awareness and attitudes, 12 theme collections, 5 final categories were derived. The five final categories are ambivalence about childbirth, having a child is a loss, something that requires planning and agreement first, inequality experienced by women and a society where it is not easy to give birth and raise a child What is most noteworthy in this study is that Korean Generation Z female college students feel complex and contradictory feelings about childbirth due to the responsibility of raising children, but they perceive childbirth as ‘gaining greater happiness.’ These results suggest that education to raise positive awareness of the value of childbirth and the establishment of a social system that does not jeopardize the lives of children and mothers due to childbirth can be the starting point for increasing the birth rate in Korean society.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"87 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140423916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the 8th popular election was launched, Chungcheongbuk-do, which recorded the ‘number of subscribers’ in the lowest ranks in the country, increased the number of subscribers to 3.5 in about a year, winning the grand prize in the ‘SNS of the Year Award’ part of the local government. The promotion and production strategy for YouTube in Chungcheongbuk-do can provide strategies for operating SNS channels of other local governments. The research method examined the causal relationship between the ‘title outlet and video concept’ of the video, and conducted content analysis to derive promotion and production strategies. As a result of analyzing the title concept (emphasis on the place, highlighting the concept) and the video concept (core person, core place, core concept), it was found that there is a causal relationship of the mutual organic narrative structure. The promotion strategies of YouTube in Chungcheongbuk-do were ① policy promotion, ② tourism promotion, ③ agricultural information, and ④ regional image and channel promotion, and the production strategy was ① familiar characters and ② experience highlights, ③ interest increases, and ④ show platform production. This study is meaningful as a study on YouTube channels of a very few local governments, where the number of subscriptions has increased rapidly in a short period of time, and it is worth using it for future local government YouTube research. However, there is a limit to the inability to conduct research on various factors such as production and editing subjects, content indicators (comments, etc.), and subtitles, so I hope that three-dimensional research will be conducted in subsequent studies.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"68 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140422806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, major satisfaction, stress, and resilience tests were conducted on 221 students at K University and the results were analyzed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and reliability analysis using the SPSS program. As a result of the study, college students' major satisfaction and stress showed a negative correlation, and the negative correlation was especially high with academic stress and future problem stress. In terms of stress and resilience of college students, the correlation between positive resilience and stress was particularly high. College students' major satisfaction and resilience were found to be positively correlated, and resilience's interpersonal skills were found to be highly positively correlated with major satisfaction. Factors that affect the resilience of college students are both major satisfaction and stress. It was found that the higher the major satisfaction and the lower the stress, the higher the resilience. The relative influence of major satisfaction and stress showed that major satisfaction had a greater impact on resilience than stress. In future research, qualitative research such as FGI (Focus Group Interview) will be needed in addition to research to improve college students' stress management ability and resilience and quantitative research on major satisfaction, stress, and resilience targeting more diverse groups.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"132 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140423511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Academic research is expanding as controversy increases, but it is difficult to obtain a comprehensive understanding of fake news unless a large amount of research results are examined one by one due to the complex intertwining of various sub-topics. Therefore, this paper aims to gain a macroscopic understanding of the production, dissemination, and regulation of fake news through a single research result. First, the current major discussions and issues on the concept and scope of fake news were investigated, and the causes and propagation processes of fake news were reviewed to confirm how changes in the media environment and human psychology affect the spread of fake news. It also investigated the controversial discussion on the regulation of fake news and suggested that the regulation should be minimized in terms of freedom of expression and that it is desirable to be implemented in an alternative way, such as technical regulation. It is hoped that this article can contribute to streamlining the theoretical review of the research field, especially the convergence academic field, which finds new ways to effectively manage and regulate fake news by providing a macroscopic understanding of fake news through the above discussion.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"41 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140420395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was organized and analyzed based on Byram's core components of intercultural competency: Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude. A phenomenological method was used as a research method, and 20 native Chinese teachers with more than 5 years of experience working in various educational environments in Korea were selected as research participants. Data obtained through one-on-one in-depth interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire were analyzed using the method suggested by Colaizzi. As a result, in terms of knowledge, native Chinese teachers used the ‘知彼知己 (knowing each other)’ strategy, and in terms of technology, they used the ‘因人而异(varying from person to person)’ strategy. In terms of attitude, the ‘有的放矢(having a target in one's sights)’ strategy was utilized by taking on various roles such as friend, teacher, elder sister or parent, in line with reality. This study is meaningful as basic data that complements the gaps in previous research on the lives and adaptations of native Chinese teachers living in Korea. Subsequent qualitative and quantitative research on research participants with more diverse backgrounds is needed.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"13 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140421142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research unfolded in two phases: analysis of students' Korean language scores and a teacher survey on reading skill improvement factors, followed by teacher interviews based on survey outcomes. Teachers identified three main factors contributing to the improvement of students' basic reading skills: strengthening teamwork through regular learning, lesson planning, and mutual support among teachers; sharing students' incremental achievement assessment results within the grade to identify areas of growth; and setting continuous improvement of reading skills and literacy enhancement as a primary goal at the school level. These findings indicate that teachers prioritize team-based learning and collaboration. Enhancing basic reading skills requires strengthening teacher collaboration, sharing achievement insights to identify growth areas, and establishing literacy improvement as a school-wide goal, necessitating specific educational strategies and policies.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"101 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140422601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this research objective, the responses of 563 women among marriage immigrants in the “2022 Digital Information Gap Survey” data were used using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 24.0 statistical packages, with digital information utilization capabilities as the independent variable and life satisfaction as the dependent variable. It was set to . In addition, the hypothesis was tested using a structural equation model using social capital, which is expected to play a mediating role in their relationship, as a mediating variable. As a result, first, the impact of marriage immigrant women's digital information utilization capabilities on life satisfaction was not statistically significant. Second, marriage immigrant women's ability to use digital information had a positive effect on social capital. Third, the social capital of married immigrant women was found to have a positive (+) effect on life satisfaction. Fourth, as a result of confirming statistical significance through bootstrapping of the impact of digital information utilization capabilities on life satisfaction through social capital, the confidence interval did not include 0 and was statistically significant. As a result, it was confirmed that marriage immigrant women's social capital fully mediated the relationship between their digital information utilization capabilities and life satisfaction. Based on these research results, practical and policy efforts to improve the life satisfaction of married immigrant women were suggested.","PeriodicalId":236324,"journal":{"name":"The K Association of Education Research","volume":"136 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140423137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
