In research, all abilities possessed by students will be seen starting from communicating, collaborating, critical thinking, and creative. Thus, doing research can develop 4C abilities (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity). Therefore, the main objective in research is to develop the ability of 4C students and design research-based learning so that goals are achieved. Descriptive qualitative methods are used to obtain descriptions of the questionnaire data obtained. The questionnaire was distributed to 250 students from the Indonesian University of Education. The results of the questionnaire data were then analyzed and described. The results are used as a design to compile research-based syntax of learning that can improve the ability of 4C students. The results of the study indicate that research-based learning can improve the ability of 4C students. When students have been able to develop solutions to problems that arise, it shows that they have developed 4C abilities. This is based on data in research reports compiled and presentations made by students in groups. In addition, research seminars were conducted which were the results of selection from the best groups from each study program. A questionnaire about 36 English teachers' perception towards learner autonomy was used to collect data. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis by utilizing the SPSS. The study reveals that the majority of Indonesian ELT teachers defined learner autonomy as learners' responsibility for taking care of his own learning independently with less support of the teacher and making decisions about how they learn in which the teacher played a major role in promoting and developing learner autonomy. Furthermore, most teachers confirmed that their students are able to be autonomous and are quite sure that they will succeed in promoting learner autonomy. However, learner autonomy is important in EFL learning, but there are some constraints that teachers face and need to overcome. The study underlines the importance of teachers taking a professional training workshop, in order to help them to get more information and improve their knowledge of learner autonomy. It is mentioned all matters concerning the Blank Horse (kuda kosong). In one case, this phenomenon of the development in urban planning is no longer in the layout, as it was implied by the script but in the ornament, so that the city has an identity. The government of Cianjur built monuments, including Kuda Kosong. The purpose of this paper is to interpret the relationship between text and context: whether there are any horse icons used in relation to community culture, and what mythology arises based on the icon. Based on the semantics by Eco, ‘sign is not a semiotic entity that is non-negotiable but the independent elements between two systems (expressions and contents) which has coding relationships (Fokkema, 1998). The connection above is answered, because in Eco’s understanding, a word is not merely a sign concept but a sign function. This research is approached in sociologyanthropology, using qualitative method by using content analysis, documentation, observation, and interview techniques. The results showed that a blank horse (kuda kosong) has a relationship between texts in the form of words and contents as a sign with context (sculpture) as an artifact. The relationship shows history, culture, and even function on social strengthening. PLPG) for English teachers in order that they can comply with the demands of the new curriculum. The current research attempts to reveal whether TPETP prepared for the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum has brought about effects on the development of teachers’ teaching skills in Sumbawa Regency. This study used a multiple case study approach with a qualitative descriptive method. This multiple case study is used to explain the contributions of the TPETP program on the ability of certified English teachers to implement the 2013 English Curriculum in Sumbawa District. The population of this study was all English teachers who had been certified throughout Sumbawa District. To obtain the data, a purposive sampling technique was used. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This analysis was done iteratively through triangulation of data. Results of the study show that on the whole TPETP had positive contribution to the developmental progress of teachers’ teaching skills. Despite evidence of improved teaching practices, a number of teachers experienced hurdles. Some of them showed a tendency to return to their old teaching practices. The study concludes that the current method of TPETP delivery needs to be re-evaluated.
