The failure of one component depends on other and also each kind of failure have their different impacts on overall system. This paper enhances the handover algorithm for GSM-R technology by applying a newly proposed Dynamic Handover Margin Evaluation(DHME) technique that provides ping-pong effect free dynamic handover margin according to the vehicle speed, establishing a new Group handover algorithm which is inspired by Bullyâs Algorithm for coordinator selection. Bullyâs Algorithm for coordinator selection in distributed system is implemented here for user grouping to reduce the number of handover requests in mobile networks. So congestion is reduced in a particular BTS. This paper also proposes a priority handover scheme based on Guard Channel Method (GCM) suitable for GSM-R technology. In this paper we have integrated the approach of web caching and pre-fetching using sequential data mining techniques to enhance the proxy server's performance. The web access logs collected at squid proxy servers, can be used derive interesting information regarding user's web navigation pattern which can be utilized in improving the performance of proxy server by integrating the approach of web caching and pre-fetching using sequential data mining techniques. The work presented here uses Pre-order linked position coded Web Access pattern (PLWAP) Algorithm for finding frequent accessed web objects of each user by analyzing the browsing history from the access log files and then compares the results over page replacement algorithms such as, Least Recently Used (LRU) and Least Frequently Used (LFU), first without using concept of pre-fetching and then by using pre-fetching. It employs grounded passive components namely two capacitors and a resistor. The proposed filter offers the following advantageous features: high input impedance-a desirable property of voltage mode filters; simultaneous availability of low pass, band pass, high pass, notch, and all pass; no matching constraint; low sensitivity performance and use of grounded capacitors suitable for integration. The effect of DDCCTA non-idealities on filter behaviour has also been addressed. The proposed circuit is also analyzed for non ideal behavior of DVCCCTA. The proposed algorithm follows embedding and extraction processes. In the embedding procedure, the audio signal is divided into non overlapping frames and then each frame is decomposed into 3-level wavelet transform using 4-coefficient daubechies wavelet (db4) filter. Then after using a quantization function, IDWT is applied to the modified wavelet coefficient to get the watermarked audio signal. The process of extraction followed is blind. Use of correlator in modern communication system have more precise frequency and timing synchronization, which improves its ability against interference of multipath and frequency selective fading channels. Even in the circumstances of low signal to noise ratio, it also has a very high accuracy of synchronization[1]. It plays an important role in the future communication systems such as broadband wireless network, or 4G. When a delay-correlator operates in the real system, timing synchronization deviation is quite obvious, which seriously affects the system performance. The aim of this project is to design a correlator which has more precise frequency and timing synchronization. Firstly the correlator functionality will be verified using MATLAB tool. Many researchers discusses about the applications that works on read only data, however many applications need to alter the data. If all replicas of a file are not synchronized this drives the system into inconsistent state. To keep system consistent, the changes made at one replica of a file should be reflected in other replicas in minimum time, this time is called synchronization overhead. Proposed approach reduces this overhead by using lazy update propagation and ordered storage of updates. Unlike conventional approaches that propagate the updates to a fixed master replica of a file, the proposed approach transfer the role of master replica to the last modified replica. This mechanism reduces the overhead of propagating the update messages to master replica immediately. The master replica computes the modification messages eagerly but propagates lazily. It has been already proved that CCD is more energy efficient than the traditional approach where each MT download the whole content individually. In this paper, queuing theory has been applied with CCD schemes, different CCD models have been compared with each other and its performance under different queuing models has been analyzed.
