The term Fractal Dimension (FD) is an important aspect in Fractal theory. The dimension of complex objects in nature is calculated by Fractal Dimension. FD is used in shape classification, graphic analysis and texture segmentation. FD also caters to several data mining tasks. One of the preferable method for calculation of FD of an image is box counting method. In this paper various methods used to calculate the FD of color images are emphasized. One of the existing method is discussed with its key problems and three methods has been proposed to achieve accurate FD. MIMO antenna array consist of two diagonally placed angular ring slot antenna cut from two edges of ground plane. MIMO antenna array has a volume 60 × 60 × 1.5 mm3. Two antenna elements are placed orthogonal to each other and stubs are arranged to improve isolation between two antenna and envelope correlation coefficient characteristics. Channel capacity of proposed MIMO antenna is calculated based only on S-parameters. Performance of MIMO antenna in terms of S-parameter, envelope correlation coefficient (ECC), radiation pattern, capacity loss, channel capacity, TARC is simulated. To balance this system there lies an urgent requirement of stabilizing the states to the equilibrium. This is done by analysis of the parametric uncertainties or disturbances occuring at the time of operation of the system. The model referred in this paper has three degrees-of-freedom (DOF) with four inputs. Two different co-ordinate frames in translational motion are discussed. For regulation of the attitude dynamics, a linear back-stepping control theory is adopted with a combination of adaptive laws. The adaptive back-stepping allows the virtual control to be added in the backward direction of the physical model and evaluates the changing weight along with other parametric uncertainties. Experimental results show that the proposed control theory can be applied to two different definitions of translational motion and is helpful in finding out the uncertain moments. The scheduling algorithm plays an important role in providing the maximum service to the vehicular users. Various types of services may be provided to the vehicle on request like audio/ video entertainment, map information (Hotels, shops etc.), routing information and emergency information like Hospital, Police and Traffic congestion etc. Due to limited number of channels and limited time for data transmission, service priority is required for transmission. Further the service time optimization is required depending upon the maximum possible speed of a vehicle. In this paper, an opportunistic scheduling algorithm with service priority and holding users are proposed. The concept of holding users enhances the service fairness and maximum services provided by hotspot. The graphene based microstrip transmission line has been observed and analyzed. The microstrip waveguides at input as well as output have been considered for feed. The microstrip line discontinuities along with their S-parameters have been discussed. The two simultaneous bands in the graphene based band-pass filters have been achieved at the center frequencies 5.8734 THz and 9.0189 THz. The tunability can be achieved with the help of variation in chemical potential in the terahertz frequency regime. It is observed that by introducing cross-shaped patch into the circular ring, impedance matching is improved significantly. Proposed antenna has overall dimensions of 35 × 35 × 1.6 mm3 with measured impedance bandwidth of 87.2% (2.53–6.45 GHz). In addition, partial ground plane is provided in order to prevent back reflections. Proposed antenna having measured peak gain of 5.37 dB and simulated average radiation efficiency of 94.4% throughout the operating bandwidth. This area is becoming an area of research in recent years due to its wide applicability in computer vision, robotics and data transmission. To find salient region various parameters like color, texture, location, semantics etc are used. In this paper, a method is proposed which uses the fact that image boundary is rarely touched by salient object and then poisson distribution is used to find the probability of each pixel being part of salient object. Thus, the saliency map is obtained by computing the absolute difference of pixel intensity with the mean of boundary pixels. No former training is essential for this approach. Experiments are performed to evaluate the performance of proposed approach on MSRA dataset and compared with 4 recent state-of-arts. CMFD has demand in forensic investigation, legal evidence and in many other fields. In this paper, the gists of different newly arrived methodologies in current literature are discussed. Some existing methodologies can be able to localize the forged region and some are not. An efficient method for localization of copy move forgery is proposed in this work for identifying forgery. In the proposed methodology, CMFD is achieved by giving suspected image to Steerable Pyramid Transform (SPT), Local Binary Pattern (LBP) is applied on each oriented subband obtained from SPT to extract feature set, then it is used to trained Support Vector Machine (SVM) to classify images into forged or not. Then localization process is carried out on forged images. Zero forcing beamforming is used to null out the interference signals and the random vector quantization, quantizes the channel vectors. For minimal feedback period (MFP), the upper bound of rate loss is calculated and optimal bit partitioning among the channels is shown. For adaptive feedback period scheme (AFP), joint optimization schemes of feedback period and bit partitioning are proposed.
