Abstract

Surface Plasmon Polariton (SPP) occurs naturally in optical frequencies. Spoof surface plasmon polariton(SSPP) which have similar characteristics as SPP were proven to exist in lower frequencies such as microwave frequencies on a plasmonics metamaterial. The SSPP based Transmission Line is discussed in this paper. A broadband and efficient conversion from spatially guided wave to SSPP in the microwave frequency and Band Pass Filter implementation using series LC resonator are also discussed.
