This study aims to explain feminism, patriarchy, and gender discrimination experienced by female characters in the novel which is the object of this research. This study uses feminism theory with a radical feminism approach proposed by Alison Jaggar and uses patriarchy from Sylvia Walby as a supporting theory. In this study, feminism theory is used to explain and analyze gender discrimination forms. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Tumbuh pesat akronim di berbagai bidag termasuk di bidang kuliner di Jawa Barat tidak dapat di cegah pertumbuhannya. Hal ini menarik sebagai dinamika dan kreativitas pembentukan kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian dalam kajian ini, adalah deskriptif kwalitatif. Data diperoleh dari laman online : cekaja.com, Axan.kuliner.com, cuanki@2019Merdeka.com dan www.idntimes.com. Data diambil pada bulan april 2022, dengan mengumpulkan 20 akronim kuliner dari Jawa Barat. Data di dideskripsikan   sesuai bagaimana keadaannya untuk dianalisis dengan mengacu kepada Kridalaksana ( 2007 ). Akronim dianalisis satu persatu, kemudian dikelompokkan berdasarkan kesamaan cara pebentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, terlihat pembentukan akronim kuliner di Jawa Barat sangat bervariasi. Dari 20 akronim kuliner di Jawa Barat dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok yang mempunyai kesamaan pembentukan. Proses pembentukan 1) pengekalan suka kata + suku kata dari komponen yang dikekalkan, 2 ) pengekalan suka kata + pengekalan huruf dari komponen yang di kekalkan, 3, pengekalan huruf awal dari komponen yang di kekalkan, 4) pengekalan ini unik, kombinasi dari ketiga proses pebentukan di tambahkan dengan awalan atau kata penghubung – di, ketika diucapkan, namun tidak terlihat ketika dituliskan atau disebutkan akronimnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah data tulis berupa kutipan baris dan bait yang mengandung majas metafora. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori stilistika. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakkan bahwa jenis majas metafora yang terdapat dalam puisi-puisi Bara Pattyradja meliputi: (a) metafora bercitra antropomorfik, (b) metafora bercitra hewan, (c) metafora konkrit ke abstrak, (d) metafora sinestesia. The problem in this research is what is the reason for the violation of the maxim of manner in the culture of the Riau people? This study uses a qualitative approach with the grounded theory method. Informants in this study amounted to 79 informants who came from a number of districts in Riau and Riau Islands. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three stages, namely: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The conclusion of this research shows that cultural differences make Grice's principle of cooperation, especially the maxim of manner, not universally applicable to all languages. There are a number of reasons for violating the maxim of manner, namely reasons of politeness, confusion in giving answers, forgetting, nervousness, empathy, avoiding direct speech, secrets, substitute vocabulary, pleasantries, pleasantries, lying, habits, and upset/angry. Violation of Grice's cooperative principle is not a bad thing, in fact the violation occurs because of the cultural influence that exists in the language. This study aims to analyze students' speaking ability in scientific presentations in Indonesian language courses. The population of this study is 20 pepople students of the Information Technology Education Study Program who programmed Indonesian Language courses. Data collection techniques were carried out using tapping techniques in the form of video recordings. This study aims to determine the improvement of learning achievement in English through the application of the card sort method. An action study (action research) was carried out on learning English material on Verb for 7th grade students of SMPN 2 Gempol, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency, for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Indicators The results showed that the percentage of mastery learning at the pre-cycle stage was 10.7%, in the first cycle it was 67.9%, and in the second cycle it reached 92.9%. The average score of student test results also experienced a significant increase, namely the pre-cycle stage was 58.8, the first cycle was 72.4, and in the second cycle it rose to 78.9. Autonomous learning is a process to be aware of taking control of learning.  This study used a case study and a content analysis in the qualitative research. A qualitative approach is chosen as research design with the help of Nvivo 12 Apps since interviews become the main instrument. Some interview items questioned how lecturers help learners comprehend the material, determine their personal goals, finding out supporting resources. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Research data collection was carried out using a listening technique using the help of recording equipment and notes as well as interviewing buyers and traders. There are six types of directive speech acts used in the speech of traders and buyers, namely 39 types of question speech acts, 15 requests speech acts, 6 permission speech acts, 2 prohibited speech acts, 1 advice speech acts, and 1 speech acts. command 5. The most common type of directive speech act found is the type of question speech act. The speech act of questioning is most widely used by both the buyer and the seller to ask for prices, types of goods, models, and others. Jumlah sampel yang dilakukan untuk penelitian adalah 35 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk one group pre-test dan post-test. Desain one-group pre-test dan post-test adalah penelitian eksperimen. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yang dibandingkan, yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Metode ini digunakan karena peneliti ingin mengetahui pengaruh metode role-playing terhadap kemampuan menulis teks negosiasi siswa. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah uji t yaitu Thitung.0,05(5,41>0,05). The research method used 4-D Research and Development by Thiagarajan that consists of four stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. This study is limited to the development stage, due to the current pandemic situation so it cannot be carried out for the dissemination stage. Data was collected using research instrument techniques to assess the validity of the products that have been developed, in the form of a validation questionnaire to be assessed by material experts in the form of content, construction, language aspects and design experts in the form of writing display aspects, image display, LKPD functions, and LKPD benefits. The assessment of the material aspect got an overall score of 90% with the \"Very Good\" criteria, means that the product is feasible and valid to be tested in small groups and large groups, thus the material can be a prototype of socio-cultural based short story worksheets. The design aspect assessment gave an assessment of 98.5% with the criteria of \"Very Good\", means that the product is feasible and valid to be tested by small groups and large groups, so from the design aspect it can become a prototype of socio-cultural-based short story worksheets.
