The equipped quadcopter plays the relay (repeater) role for two ground vehicles between tall physical obstacles to communicate each other. In addition, remote monitoring and control systems on a flying quadcopter are demonstrated in this paper. The developed relay communication system is able to transmit high quality image through Wi-Fi associated equipment in the manipulator platform with Arduino controller and UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter). An execute instruction via UART in Arduino is issued to control the moving range of the vehicle and to transmit/receive data in broadcast station. Test of relay communication system via quadcopter consists of returning power (dBm), signal strength and image reaction time. Real time monitoring for a leveled flying quadcopter and a ranged of ground vehicle can be precisely achieved by an operator at the remote end.","PeriodicalId":233396,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information, Communication and Engineering (ICICE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133415116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not only does MTSP possess academic research value, its application is also quite extensive. For example, Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) and Operations Scheduling, etc., can all be reduced to MTSP solutions. MTSP is an NP-Hard problem and is worth carrying out discussions from different facets to tackle the said problem. This research adopts the Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm (ACO). A certain amount of Mission-Coordinated Ant-Teams are included in this approach, and missions are appointed to the ants in the Ant-Teams before they set out (each ant has a different focal search direction). In addition to attempting to complete his or her own mission, each ant will use the Max-Min philosophy to work together to optimize the quality of the solution. The goal of the appointment of missions is to reduce the total distance, while the Max-Min search method for paths is to achieve Min-Max, which is the goal of labor balance. During the solving process, each ant will refer to the pheromone concentration on the paths and the mission tips as their action guidelines. After each round, the mission configuration will be changed in accordance with the state of solution obtained from each mission-coordinated team and the pheromone concentration on the path will be reconfigured.","PeriodicalId":233396,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information, Communication and Engineering (ICICE)","volume":"25 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131858393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) usually consist of a large number of sensors and sensor nodes. The communication network systems are expected to achieve effective and efficient works. This paper proposes a novel wireless smart sensor node design. The nodes combine with a micro-computer unit (MCU) and a ZigBee module. The smart sensor node can transmit preprocessed sensing information or case status to a base station instead of transmitting raw sensing data. This approach presents an efficient way to the transceiver system for WSN management.","PeriodicalId":233396,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information, Communication and Engineering (ICICE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132542754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, the frank-copula model is used to describe the correlation of wind-PV, which should be added into the distribution network planning model. In the united planning of DGs and network, the total social cost is the objective function and the decomposed-coordinating method is presented to simplify solution of united planning, which is decomposition by two planning layer. For the upper layer, the DGs are optimized with the goal of minimum DG social general costs. For the lower layer, the total investment of lines, the loss cost and the maintenance costs as the objective function should be least. The improved genetic algorithm is used to solve the decomposed-coordinating planning. The IEEE-29 shows that the method presented in the paper is more efficient and faster than traditional way.","PeriodicalId":233396,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information, Communication and Engineering (ICICE)","volume":"970 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123074424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, SPOCs (Small Private Online Courses) is more suitable than MOOCs for elementary school students. However, the elementary school students are not mature enough regarding their mental age; in addition, their autonomous learning ability is insufficient to handle all courses; also, in actual classroom teaching, their in-class discussion participation is low. Therefore, this study hopes to design a improved SPOCs teaching method to solve the problems of the current SPOC teaching method might encounter. This paper aims to explore the impact of different teaching methods (traditional lecture teaching method, conventional SPOC teaching method and improved SPOCs teaching method) on students' learning outcome of butterfly's ecological knowledge, the degree of classroom discussion and the viewing rate of pre-class films. The paper would provide a solid reference for elementary school Massive Open Online Course teaching or SPOCs (Small Private Online Course) teaching. For the experiment of this study, the number of valid samples were 75 elementary Grade 5 students from 3 different classes in Tainan. The three classes were randomly divided into three groups: one experimental group and two control groups. The research method was a quasi-experimental study, and the butterfly ecological knowledge teaching was carried out for five weeks. “Butterfly Ecology Knowledge Learning Platform” was implemented during the experimental teaching process. All students from the three groups received the “Butterfly Ecological Knowledge Learning Test” in order to recognize student's learning outcomes. The experiment results show the learning outcome of students who received “improved SPOC teaching method” in butterfly ecological knowledge is significantly better than those who received “traditional lecture method” and the “conventional SPOCs teaching method”.","PeriodicalId":233396,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information, Communication and Engineering (ICICE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123490101","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
