This paper presents a ZVRT control strategy based on natural coordinate. Complexity of the control strategy is reduced due to saving phase-locked loop and eliminating coordinate transformation. The ZVRT control of grid-connected photovoltaic inverter under symmetrical and asymmetrical faults is discussed respectively. The simulation results show the rationality and effectiveness of the control strategy under the two different fault conditions.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130401983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, few studies has been made to find out the unique travel patterns of Internet based ride-sharing. In this paper, License plate data at the Beijing Capital International Airport area are used to study the travel patterns of taxis and private cars. By comparing the trip records of taxis and private cars, two indicators, the distribution characteristics of vehicle volume and the balanced patterns of time, are selected to identify the ride-sharing cars from private cars. The results showed that there are more taxis than private cars arrival the airport in the evening and the arriving time of private cars is more concentrated. Finally, we used these indicators identify the ride-sharing vehicles from private cars. All these findings will be useful for further research and policy making.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130332696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper addresses the recognition, object detection and segmentation issues in white background photos with deep learning method. In particular, we firstly train a recognition model based on GoogLeNet to judge whether a photo is white background. Then we propose a main object detecting algorithm to eliminate unnecessary elements such as logos, characters with Faster R-CNN. Eventually a main object segmentation method combining both CRF-RNN network and Grabcut is adopted to smoothly eliminate the shadow area and obtain the fine segmentation results. All exploring algorithms are implemented in real time with Caffe and Tesla K80 from Nvidia. Latest testing experiments demonstrate that an accuracy of 96% in recognition and 94%in detection is resulted and an acceptable fine segmentation results used for solution of 400 ∗ 400 is successfully achieved. The proposed technical scheme offers an alternative to computer vision tasks in complex background photos.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"2011 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131845487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In deep structure and learning, the abundant connecting parameters in filters and layers lead to a time-consuming training process. Broad Learning system, which is established as a flat network, maps the original inputs as mapped features in feature nodes and the structure is expanded in wide sense in the enhancement nodes. Model construction and learning algorithms are introduced here. Moreover, different approaches for the construction of enhancement nodes are given. The advantage of the Broad Learning System is that the learning can be updated dynamically and incrementally without going through a retraining process if the model deems to be expanded on additional feature nodes and enhancement nodes such that the learning is so efficient and effective. In addition, The incremental learning algorithms can be conveniently implemented for fast remodeling in broad expansion which can be referred in [1]. Compared with existing deep neural networks, experimental results on the MNIST data manifest the effectiveness of the Broad Learning System.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"281 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134487625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The majority of existing robotic devices for rehabilitation belong to the rigid exoskeleton. However, rigid exoskeletons may have some limitations such as heavy weight, un-safety and inconvenience. This paper presents a device designed to help post-stroke patients to stretch their spastic hands. This hand rehabilitation device actuator is fabricated by soft material, powered with fluid pressure, and embedded in one glove surface. The distinguished features of this device are: safety, low cost, light weight, convenience and pneumatic actuation. In clinical practice, rehabilitation therapists should help the post-stroke patients to stretch fingers to a desired joint position. Therefore, the control objective of the proposed hand rehabilitation device is to drive the patient's finger bending angle to a predesigned position. To this end, curvature sensors embedded in the glove are used to measure the finger's bending angle. A commercial data glove is used to collect the actual finger's bending angle for calibrating the curvature sensors based on a three-layer back-propagation (BP) neural network. Then the error between the designed joint position and the actual joint position can be calculated. An error proportional control strategy is adopted for the positioning control objective (the controller's input is the pump speed). Finally, experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of control method and the capacity of the proposed hand rehabilitation device.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115914290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A distributed intermittent event-triggered protocol is designed, where the information interaction among agents only occurs under a local triggering condition within some certain time intervals. As a result, it saves the energy for communication and reduces the number of control updates. In aid of the Lyapunov functional method, some sufficient conditions are derived to achieve the leader-following consensus and the result is further extended to the formation control problem. The grid impedance has serious impact on system stability and power quality for PV grid-connected system. To study the interaction between grid-connected inverter and weak grid, the Norton equivalent output impedance model and state space representation of the PV grid-connected system is established in this paper. Then stability of PV grid-connected system is analyzed by root locus, Jacobian matrix and Nyquist criterion and stability domain of single parameter, dual parameter and multi parameter for different grid impedances are given. Validity of the stability analysis for grid-connected interactive system is verified based on MATLAB simulation. Research results show that grid impedance will worsen the power quality, degree the phase margin and control performance and reduce the stability margin for the grid-connected system. Appropriately increasing the DC capacitor or change the controller parameters can improve the system stability.","PeriodicalId":232358,"journal":{"name":"2017 32nd Youth Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Association of Automation (YAC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129687120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Classical optimization methods require numerous simulation trials of different parameter combinations, which leads to a low design efficiency. To address this problem, an efficient EM structure optimization algorithm which combines differential evolution (DE) with machine learning technology is proposed in this paper. By partly substituting electromagnetic (EM) solver, Kriging model predicts the responses and uncertainties of each individual after differential evolution. The exploration and exploitation of the searching can be adjusted by the constitution and prescreening of the population before and after evolution. This algorithm is applied to optimize the resonant frequencies of an E-shaped antenna with 6 variables.
