Several shapes of shallow foundations for example strip, square, and rectangular were made to analyze the effect of the foundation shape on the same footing area on bearing capacity of the shallow foundation due to vertical centric loads. The influence of the shape of the foundation on the bearing capacity was introduced by Terzaghi, Meyerhof, Brinch-Hansen, and Vesic. Experiment model on sand in the laboratory is carried out by making 3 (three) circular, square and rectangular foundation models with 3 (three) different areas of 100 cm 2 , 150 cm 2 and 200 cm 2 . The results of the physical model test show that the square shape can support a larger load than other tread forms in same footing area. Increasing the area of 50% will increase the bearing capacity of the foundation by 102% and the foundation with a double footing area, the bearing capacity of the foundation will increase by 157%. Increasing bearing capacity rectangular shape is the highest. There are differences results of prototype models and empirical formulas, where the empirical formulas, rising of bearing capacity shallow foundation higher than experiment models due to increasing footing area. The location of the transit point in Cilegon is Terminal Terpadu Merak located in the Merak area. The solution to parse the traffic density is by implementing transit oriented development (TOD) concept which by optimizing transit point integration to facilitate the accessibility of passengers. This research aims to determine the characteristics that have been implemented in the Merak area and identify the characteristics of passengers in Terminal Terpadu Merak, as well as to analyse the efforts that need to be done in order to Merak area in accordance with the concept of transit oriented development. The method used is the mix method, combining quantitative analysis to determine the characteristics of bus passengers in Terminal Terpadu Merak and qualitative analysis of observations on the principle of transit oriented development (TOD) that has been applied in the research area. The results of this research show that the area of Terminal Terpadu Merak is categorized as transit oriented development (TOD) with the Silver Standard class with the characteristics of majority passengers aiming to work. Of the eight principles assessed, the pedestrian facilities and cyclists have not yet fulfilled the criteria have not even been available as well as the absence of public open spaces. Slope geometry recommendations are needed to obtain a safe and stable slope safety factor in static, dynamic, and probability conditions according to KEPMEN 1827 K/30/MEM/2018. This research was conducted at the location of the open-pit coal mining Mining Business Permit (IUP) in Kebur Village, West Merapi District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province. require a change in slope geometry, while PIT-1, PIT-5, and PIT-3 require a change in slope geometry. The better the rock mass class, the higher the safety factor value, so that the slope geometry does not require changes. Therefore, in this study, the use of sawdust waste was developed as an additive to fine aggregate in the hope of increasing the compressive strength of concrete and reducing the accumulation of sawdust waste in the community. The main purpose of using sawdust waste is to find out how strong the results of the comparison value obtained by the variation of sawdust concrete are with the compressive strength value of normal concrete. Variations in addition of sawdust used were 0.3% and 0.6%. From the analysis of the average compressive strength that has been carried out when the concrete age reaches 28 days, normal concrete gets a value of 16.55 MPa, 0.3% sawdust variation gets a value of 15.02 MPa and wood powder variation concrete 0, 6% reached a value of 17.42 mpa.
