We aimed to explore how university teachers assess the quality of ERT and whether their assessments are related to their previous online teaching experiences and their beliefs on the potentials of online teaching. The survey included 443 teachers from the University of Belgrade. The findings show that the teachers were not satisfied with the quality of ERT in terms of the interaction with students, students' motivation, and the quality of their engagement during classes. Teachers who had prior experience in online teaching and more positive beliefs regarding the potentials of online teaching/learning, used a greater variety of online tools, teaching methods, and activities during ERT and, in turn, were more satisfied with the quality of online teaching. Therefore, attention should be paid to expanding teachers' knowledge and awareness of the potentials of online teaching/learning as the ERT did not allow for its full potential to be realized.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115585398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal of this paper is to establish whether environmental activism can be predicted on the basis of environmental knowledge, proenvironmental attitudes, affect, and behavior. In addition to this, the goal of the research is to examine to what extent individuals of different activism levels differ in terms of knowledge of basic environmental problems, expression of the attitude of ecological apathy, anthropocentrism, belonging to nature and connection with nature, as well as usual practices of pro-environmental behavior. By surveying a sample of adult respondents from Serbia who belong to a group devoted to an environmental problem (N=255), we have discovered that general environmental knowledge alone does not contribute to pro-environmental behaviors or environmental activism. The predictors of activism are pro-environmental attitudes, an affective attitude towards nature, and common pro-environmental behaviors, even though they help distinguish a group of barely active members from two groups of more active members, but they do not help distinguish those who are active in a virtual space from those who participate personally. The groups are further distinguished by other variables, such as the locus of control, values, and the phenomenon of quasi-activism. The established connection between knowledge and emotional affinity towards nature seems to represent a reciprocal relationship, and indicates that the right way to learn is to acquire knowledge, but while developing a love for nature.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130116662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In education, new methods of remote studying are being developed, with a particular emphasis on \"m-learning\" (learning with the help of mobile devices). Taking into consideration that mobile devices are one of the fastest-developing forms of technology, the importance of their assistance in the process of teaching and studying has been recognized. The goal of this paper is to introduce the concept of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in the context of industry and education as an example of disruptive technology. This concept implies that students bring their own mobile devices to the classroom and use them when learning. Using a descriptive research method and analysis of the relevant bibliography, the authors of the paper distinguish the implications for the change of university practices on the basis of critical analysis of positive and negative consequences of their use, redefined positions of the teachers and the students in the educational process, as well as the modified educational design.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125156756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Higher Education contexts must increasingly rethink themselves if they want to promote employability. The essay, starting from the triangulation between profession, professionalism and professionalization and from the current reflection on employability, finds in Entrepreneurial Education the crisis solution. In particular, it proposes to understand Higher Education Institutions as Entrepreneurial Organization in which processes are activated for the development of research and narrative competences.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130384577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, non-formal and informal learning, as part of lifelong knowledge acquisition and development, are acknowledged as crucial for the constant progress of professionals to deal with the ever-growing challenges of the world of work. This paper uses an exploratory design methodology to elaborate on how lifelong learning as a methodology and strategy for professional development can be achieved through formal and informal learning on the basis of and guided by the transformative learning theory. By examining the historical context, themes, components, and critical review of Mezirow's transformative learning theory, the relevance, effectiveness and applicability of transformative learning methodology is deduced for the teaching profession.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132681875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents an overview of previous research and conclusions on the role of critical thinking in education. The results of the quantitative study confirmed that there was a strong correlation between students' critical thinking skills and their abilities to learn foreign languages, and that better critical thinkers were far more successful in learning foreign languages. The correlation between the success rates of English language learning and the critical thinking test section devoted to deductive reasoning proved particularly significant. Further research should be done to determine the nature of this relationship as accurately as possible so that its practical application in the teaching process is of greater importance.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132440610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Qualitative research was conducted by employing semi-structured interviews with sixteen students and teachers at public and private art faculties. The interview agenda comprised two thematic blocks: the positive and negative aspects of the application of Bologna principles as perceived by art faculty students and the positive and negative aspects of the application of Bologna principles as perceived by art faculty teachers. Data have been analysed by employing the principles of thematic analysis. The possibility of student and teacher mobility was underlined among the positive aspects or categories. The lack of appreciation for the specificity of art education which is not disposed to formalization, i.e. the credits and administration system, was emphasized among the negative aspects or categories.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127988943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the purposes of testing teachers' perceptions, we created the Teaching Perspectives Inventory (TPI). The goal of this research is the validation and adaptation of this scale on a sample of 526 university professors in Serbia. The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis confirm the five-factor model, which to a certain extent differs from the structure of the original instrument. All five sub-scales demonstrate adequate internal consistency in the range from .70 to .87, whereby good convergent validity is also confirmed. The modified version of TPI ensured the validation of originally defined teaching perspectives, and it was concluded that this scale may be used reliably in the educational context of Serbia.","PeriodicalId":229688,"journal":{"name":"Andragoske studije","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125776199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
