{"title":"The Role of Favoured Orientations of Organic Cation on The Electronic Properties and Spin Textures of Hybrid Organic-Inorganic","authors":"Soma Ariyaka, Yedija Yosua","doi":"10.54324/jtt.v1i1.426","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54324/jtt.v1i1.426","url":null,"abstract":"The electronic structure of bulk Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Perovskite (HOIP) CH3NH3PbX3 (X = Br and Cl)has been investigated by using a computational method based on Density Functional Theory (DFT). The investigation demonstrates that spin splitting is found when a favoured orientation of organic cation align along the [111], the [101] and the [011] directions. We show that Rashba splitting is induced with the anisotropical character of spin polarization in [111] directions, whereas the unidirectional out-of-plane of spin polarizations are achieved in [011] and [101] directions. By employing perturbation theory based on symmetry consideration, we find a large spin-orbit strength from these splitting. The purpose of this study is knowing optimum concrete grout composition. Grout strength hopefully can fulfill compression and tension strength needed, fulfill slashyness requirements, no bleeding and no segregration. Research began with preliminary test of mortar composition charasteristics. Most of fine aggregate composition using sand with slightly fine sand gradation. The mortar slashyness test using mortar flow and funnel test that flow time of mortar used as slashyness rate. Next tests are compression and tension test of mortars. The variation of mortars composition are using cement : sand ratio in the amount of 1:0,5; 1:1; 1:1,5 and 1:2. The result from each mix with optimum W/C Ratio for the compression strength test in the amount of 1:0,5; 1:1; 1:1,5 and 1:2 consecutively are 45,518 MPa; 37,875 MPa; 34,673 and 28,202 MPa. Argo Parahyangan train and freight train are passing through this track. Therefore, it is crucial to build double track lane. However, it is difficult to execute due to a wide and deep river which requires a new bridge with a complex high cost construction. That is the reason why, an in-depth evaluation of the bridge design is needed. In selecting the bridge design, the Analytical Hierarchy Process was used as the selection method. The method would applied a four-level developed structure: the first level was the goal of choosing the Optimum Bridge Design, the second level was the people involved, the third level was the evaluation criteria, the last level was the alternative bridge to be built. The data was taken from the questionnaires filled by six respondents of the railway bridge's construction experts. Camplong Beach has a coastline that is very close to the highway. The existing beach protector is less able to resist erosion so that in some locations the Camplong Highway is damaged due to coastal erosion. Coastal protective structures needed are revetments and groins to resist erosion and poorly distributed distribution of sediment transport. The calculation starts with collecting wind data, tidal data, and bathymetric maps. Then the location survey, fetch calculation, repeat period analysis, refraction analysis, break wave calculation, shoreline change, layout planning, and detailed structural design. From the results of the calculation, a suitable coastal protection structure for Camplong Beach is a structure with a 1: 3 slope in the form of a revetment with a length of 100 m with a peak width of 1.76 m, a height of 4.66 m, a protective layer weight of 823.40 kg and 3 groins along 25 m with a height of 3.91 m, a peak width of 3.9 m, a protective layer weight of 607.80 kg. Based on the requirement to provide PLTU in Surabaya, Semarang, and Tuban. The coal supply is sent from Taboneo. Demand of each PLTU are 480.000 Tonnes/Yr., 330.000 Tonnes/Yr, and 180.000 Tonnes/Yr. Methods that used in this study are optimization linier programming method with transportation and ship assignment concept, ship design method based on sample design literation and port design method. The results of calculation showed that the best route is a system Port to Port, which are Taboneo- Surabaya, Taboneo-Semarang, and Taboneo-Tuban, vessel capacity 10.500 tons needs two fleets. Obtained the unit cost amounted Rp. 131,79/Ton.Nm. The destination port which selected to be designed in this research is one of three destination ports is Port of Tuban. It depends on smallest coal demand per year. Extensive area of stockpiles needed to provide PLTU Tuban are 140 m2. Grab Crane is loading unloading equipment that used in this port with productivity 1.000 ton/hour, and it needed 1 unit. The percentage of downtime when the design is calculated to be distributed in a period of time can last for several weeks and cause a break in the supply of coal to the power plant in a long period of time. Regarding this condition, it is necessary to use bigger ship capacity. The size of ships served in some PLTU must be evaluated. This article discusses a case of port capacity evaluation in one of PLTU in Southern Coast of Java if it was able to serve a ship with bigger size. An evaluation to the capacity of pier pole structure was done by using SAP2000 software and the evaluation of pier dimension, fender and bollard capacity, as well as the depth and the area of existing turning basin that have been done by using port design standards. The result of the evaluation is an early indication for the size of ships which still can be served by the existing port PLTU.
