A writer wrote it in a literary work. One of the themes of short stories in Indonesia is the theme of women's resistance in traditional and cultural circles. The short story \"The First Night of a Priest\" by Gde Aryantha Soethama tries to offer the theme. The main character in the short story is Ni Krining, a Balinese woman from a lower caste who is married to a Brahman caste. The situation makes Ni Krining must accept polygamy. Behind his sacrifice, Ni Krining has resisted the cultural system in his environment and made his existence recognized. {"title":"“Pasangan Minimal” Fonem Dasar Pembelajaran Materi Fonologi Bahasa Indonesia","authors":"Ary Setyadi","doi":"10.14710/NUSA.13.4.521-532","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14710/NUSA.13.4.521-532","url":null,"abstract":"Evidence as well as the goal of writing articles related to the statement: that the existence of \"minimal pair\" phonemes are supposed to be the basis/early learning Indonesian phonology is based on the following reasons: a. functional phoneme \"minimal pair\", b. certainty of speech and phoneme symbols, c. certainty of type and number of phonemes, d. phoneme as the cause of difference/contrast of meaning (words), and e. other forms of antonym formation (i).Starting from the effort of proof and the goal, finally it can be said: that such a study is an important study, because from several literature sources there is a phoneme \"minimal pair\" only discussed in a brief and simple manner. That is only limited to capacity as a means of proofing phonemes to phonemic traits. In other words, it turns out that the existing problems have never been discussed in depth and specifically.The method applied is based on three strategic stages, namely: 1. provision of data, 2. classification and analysis of data, and 3. preparation of reports/writing. The data is obtained from written sources, so that the provision of data is secondary. The application of theory is based on the linguistic theory of phonology and the semantic field. The novel is full of meaning, either clear or implied. Mission, motif, purpose of the author represented through the fictional characters he constructed. The purpose of the research is to reveal the form ideological hegemony in the novel Ketika Cinta Bertasbih (KCB) creation Habiburrahman el Shirazy. Research on novels KCB with the Gramsci hegemony approach the author’s knowledge is based search in online journals indexed doaj.org, in the last five years it has not been found. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.  The research approach used Gramsci hegemony. The results of the research show, central figure in a novel like Khairul Azzam dan Anna Althafunnisa able to  deal with life’s problems well (happines), because they believe and carry out ther ideology anda religious values. The main problem thet emerged from the two figures was like education, romance, and marriage. These three components are captured in the name of the equipment. Traditional tools of coastal Javanese society gradually began to be abandoned by their owners and began to be replaced with modern equipment. As a result, inherent philosophical values begin to be forgotten. Research location in Demak Regency. Data collection methods used were observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions.The data analysis method used is a description of the lexical component: the description of the lexical meaning and cultural meaning.Description of internal culture: elaboration of philosophical values.Research findings: each traditional equipment name has a correlation between the lexical meaning of cultural meaning, and cultural meaning of its philosophical value.The traditional equipment function of the coastal Javanese community is attached to referents. The research was conducted by interviewing the script seller and collector and the owner of the manuscript plus a literature review related to the problem. The results of the study show that many texts are stored in communities that have not been touched by philologists. Most people do not know the importance of the text while there are many requests for ancient texts. This research aims to describe the writing skills of paragraph for students of the English Literature Study Program and the Japanese and Culture Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University in 2017. The research data is in the form of discourse fragments that were made by students.Collecting data used purposive sampling technique. Then the data was identified, classified, and analyzed by using paragraph theory. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the writing skill of paragraphs for students in the English Literature Study Program and Japanese and Culture Study Program still needs to be improved because there were still found paragraphs that are lacking in the unity of the ideas. Likewise,by cohesiveness are still found errors, especially in terms of reference. The problem that emphasizes is the shift of the Betawi dialect in the family domain, especially the Betawi descendants who live in Jakarta. This study aims to determine the form of shifting Betawi dialect. Provision of data was taken using questionnaires and random interviews specifically aimed at some Betawi communities in the family domain. Then the data describe phenomenologically by looking at the basic principles of speech components as a reference for analysis. From the research that has been done, the results obtained that the dialect shift that occurs in Betawi occurs in the generation of children and parents, this form of shift can be identified in the use of shifting Betawi vocabulary into other vocabulary. Other languages are dominated by Indonesian, which indirectly is the second language of the Betawi community. Framing analysis does not only see language in terms of its structure, but also from other dimensions.To be able to apply the framing analysis in the discourse study, knowledge and understanding of the theory and essential factors of framing analysis is needed. the function of mass media and the theory of hegemony. In addition, also need to know the characteristics of framing analysis, such as (1) facts, reality is actually the result of social construction, (2) mass media is a social construction agent in defining reality, (3) news is not a reflection of reality (language relativeity) , (4) news is not an objective fact, (5) journalists are actually not news reporters, but construction agents who have alignments, and (6) readers have their own interpretations of the news presented. Through the diction that is used shows the ability of the author in writing song lyrics. Understanding the song lyrics is not only understanding the language code, but requires the literary code and cultural code. Lyrics in the language code seen in their basic form are meaningful series of words. The words used in showing its beauty are manifested as poetry or lyrics whose meanings are figurative. These figurative words can be seen in the intrinsic elements of majas-literary works and so on. These words are used by the author as a means of creativity through the existing reality in the form of cultural codes. Culture that lives in the community is used as a metaphorical symbol that reflects its experience and knowledge. These linguistic events in sociolinguistics are known as mixed codes. Based on the language of the source, the mixed code in the Suara Merdeka daily news discourse can be divided into two types, namely the cognate mixed code and the noncognate mixed code. In this paper, only the noncognate mixed code. In the noncognate mixed code, between the source language and the target language have no relationship, both geographically and genetically. So, geographically these languages are used as an introduction to different political areas. Likewise seen from their kinship relations, the languages involved in interfering with the code are not related.
