However, there is concern among policymakers regarding whether an increasing emphasis on the service industry will actually lead to job creation or not. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of service sector growth on economic expansion and job creation in six developing nations of South Asia: Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The study collected data over a period of 30 years, from 1990 to 2020, and utilized two models, with the generalized method of moments (GMM) being employed to estimate the findings. The results demonstrate a significant and favorable relationship between the expansion of the service industry and economic growth, as well as employment levels. To enhance the growth rate of developing economies and increase exports of service-related products, it is recommended to foster a favorable environment in the service sector. This can include creating conditions that are supportive of business, enabling greater ease of operation, and providing a stable political climate.","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115131699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using annual data for Pakistan from 1986 to 2020, an attempt was made in this study to empirically evaluate the long-run and short-run link between the unemployment rate and FDI, economic growth, and trade. Using the multivariate co-integration technique, the data were examined. The long-term link between the unemployment rate and explanatory variables was validated by Johansen's co-integration method. The data series' stationarity was verified using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller unit root test (ADF test), which demonstrates that all of the relevant variables are first-difference stationary. Results suggested a contradiction between the unemployment rate and foreign direct investment. Also, extensive studies found a conflict between economic expansion and the unemployment rate. While there is a long-term positive correlation between trade and the unemployment rate. We employ monetary policy components that include a Panel least square test, and we apply it to the panel data set that contains 131 countries and 15 years of data on investment in the energy sector. According to the findings, the Policy rate is a critical factor in determining the minimum annual required rate of return that an investor earns on their investment. The viability gap refers to the difference between the actual return on investment from a public-private partnership project and the required rate of return of investors that is calculated by using the capital asset pricing model. This study benefits governments, private firms, and ultimately the public of a country. According to the findings, human capital expansion is substantially associated with lower CO2 emissions. Using the autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL) estimate method, we present a complete analysis of the energy efficiency-environmental deterioration nexus. The escalated dispute between the Boomer and X generations originated due to abridged connectivity, inadequate emotional ties, and modified socialization patterns. A cross-sectional survey research design was used to determine the comparison of opinions between the parent-child age cohorts. A sample size of n1=202 parents and n2=410 unmarried teenage children from n=120 families were selected from the two towns of the study vicinity. The data was analyzed through simple linear regression analysis in SPSS version-21. From the results, it was evident that inadequate appreciation and affection induced the highest magnitude of parent-child conflict i.e. 50.3%. Furthermore, three other significant indicators of the intergenerational conflict between the two generations were i) lack of time spent (44.2%) ii) ineffective communication (49.1%) and iii) devaluing each other and non-fulfillment of commitment (36.1%). The concluding remarks unveiled that the parents and children were bound by the unbending and inflexible ideology of “Me on the right path.” This stubborn approach unable these two generations to understand and respect each others “privacy” “new normative trends” and “emerging needs of the modernized world.” The solidarity and relational ties between the two age allies could be augmented through understanding, forgiveness, acceptance, appreciation, commitment, adequate time spent, effective communication, and cognitive restructuring. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":226115,"journal":{"name":"Review of Applied Management and Social Sciences","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133179816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
