The precise cause of PCOS is still unknown, but it is believed that genetics, high levels of sex hormones, and high insulin levels may be risk factors. Many other conditions are commonly seen together with PCOS, such as diabetes, depression, and anxiety, as well as endometrial cancer, but researchers are still investigating whether these issues cause PCOS or vice versa.1","PeriodicalId":225304,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Pharmacy Research & Technology","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132750503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The nanostructured lipid carrier was prepared by high speed and high pressure homogenizer by using different types of solid lipid, liquid lipid and concentration of surfactants. The NLC was characterized by particle size, zeta potential, polydispersity index. Stearic acid and oleic acid were used as solid lipid and liquid lipid and Pluronic F-68 was used as surfactant. The drug excipient compatibility study was performed by Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer and the result revealed that all the excipients and drugs were compatible with each other. For the drug estimation HPLC method was developed for the combined drug Clindamycin phosphate and Nicotinamide. Formulation of nanoemulsion was prepared by high speed and high pressure homogenization technique. This emulsion was incorporated into the gel which was prepared by using Carbopol 934P as gel base and evaluated for the In-vitro release. Factorial design was used for the evaluation and optimization of the nanoparticles. Short term stability study was performed for 30 days and there was no significant change in consistency, pH and viscosity","PeriodicalId":225304,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Pharmacy Research & Technology","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130722977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis of the market of the medicines used for treatment of peptic ulcer and GERD, implies analysis of the range of these medicines registered in RNM, their presence on the list of medicines which costs are covered by the Health Insurance Fund, their financial and physical availability, as opposed to treatment recommendations of the above conditions according to MBD as well as a comparison of the range of these drugs available on the world markets. For the analysis of the consumptions of drugs issued at the expense of the Health Insurance Fund in pharmacies of the Republic of North Macedonia for a period of four years by number of realized prescriptions and total amounts of funds, we used the data published on the official website of the Health Insurance Fund of RNM. The increase in the total number of prescription drugs is probably due to the large number of patients diagnosed with peptic ulcer and GERD, as well as the recent regimen for issuing such medicines without a prescription. The total amounts for issued medicines at the expense of the Health Insurance Fund depend on the price and the number of issued prescriptions. The RNM is a county with a low standard and limited budget for medicine, in which the health policies are oriented towards saving the funds for procurement of drugs.","PeriodicalId":225304,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Pharmacy Research & Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121341000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article provides a brief overview about the current situation and the future challenges of pharmacovigilance in India. The importance of implementing proper pharmacovigilance in the Indian scenario has been analysed the first recognised attempt to start pharmacovigilance activities in India dates back to 1986, when a formal Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring system with 12 regional centres for a population of 50 million each, was proposed. However, the system did not come into existence. In 1997, India joined the World Health OrganizationÂs ADR Monitoring Programme based in Uppsala, Sweden. The Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) maintains an international database of suspected adverse drug reaction reports from all over the world to support good decision-making regarding the benefits and risks of treatment options for patients taking medicines","PeriodicalId":225304,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Pharmacy Research & Technology","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125203407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to this development, the antimicrobial activity, phytochemical analysis and antioxidant properties of aqueous and ethanol leaf extracts of Phyllanthus muellerianus was studied. Well in agar diffusion method was used for the antimicrobial test. Chemical methods was used for the preliminary phytochemical screening and the in vitro antioxidant tests. The aqueous leaf extract possessed higher antibacterial potency (14.0±0.16Â37.3±0.03 mm) on the test bacteria species and less of antifungal activity (5.0±0.2Â16.0±0.0 mm) than the antibacterial (6.2±0.5Â20.8±0.3 mm) and antifungal antibiotics (6.5±0.07-17.7±0.4 mm) respectively.
