Recently, sound field visualization by using parallel phase-shifting interferometer (PPSI) has been proposed. PPSI can observe sound field quantitively and instantaneously without placing any object inside the field. However, the system has introduced some unwanted noise to the output fringe image. There is continuous development in signal processing method to reduce the noise in PPSI system. In this paper, different type of spatio-temporal filter has been tested to improve noise reduction in PPSI system upon establishing.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127463323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There were three stages of this study: The first stage was the preparation music library of the association between color and emotion; and the association between music and emotion. Library data used for the Hue, Saturation, and Value (HSV) color model creation were: Hue to represent musical instruments, Saturation referred to tempo, and Value was key (pitch). Second stage was to create two types of graphical user interface (GUI) for color selection. The last stage was to collect data from 120 participants participating in the trials. This study focused on two questions. First was the accuracy rate of a recommended song that matched selected colors. Second was to find the most suitable GUI that provides the highest accuracy rate to the recommendation of songs. The tests were divided into two groups: test A and test B. As for test A, participants started a trial by choosing color from the application; while test B would start by selecting an initial emotion, and then choosing colors to match the chosen emotions. The results showed that the overall accuracy rate of test A is higher than test B and the slider GUI has the highest accuracy rate.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"3 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116667856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there are more factors of the indoor environment caused to reduce the precise localization and also increase the error of distance. This paper presents a new method to evaluate the wireless sensor network (WSN) technology for the indoor localization. The weighting algorithms: the weight range localizer (WRL) and relative span exponential weight range localizer (RS-WRL) are using based on received signal strength indicator (RSSI) to estimate the position of target node. As the results, the cumulative distribution function (CDF) probability indicates the error of distance as properly, and this method can help to increase the precision of range based localization method in an application of indoor environment.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121435675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The task is a true challenge for service planners. The railway service planning system must be designed to cover the specific requirements of users that be able to calculate the cost of service operation and the revenue that is consistent with passenger volume. The results can be summarized in numerical and shown in the time graph. Thus, it could help visualize the overall factors and results to the user. Therefore, the user can adjust the service plan conveniently and effectively in a heuristic way.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128513635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This HS has another harmony memory that contains improving Gbest. The results of the proposed algorithm are compared with related modified-PSO using 27 benchmark functions. The system consists of a series of digital cameras capture installed underneath the acrylic-top platform. Light of LED strip mounted along the side of the acrylic plate deflected by the pressure exerted between the glossy white paper installed in the top of acrylic and the acrylic plate to the digital cameras provides the color-coded plantar pressure image of the subject standing on the platform. The system can provide both static features and dynamic features. Our hybrid system consists of a series of USB cameras aligned under the acrylic-plate walking platform. The mosaic image processing is used to concatenate the captured image to increase the sensing area. Captured the image data in video mode, various dynamic parameters can be derived for further dynamic analysis. The image capturing in one specific frame can be used for static analysis. Application in human-postural measurement, gait analysis, and person identification indicate that our system is an all-in-one system for plantar pressure measurement.","PeriodicalId":224375,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"55 7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129276521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
