Abstract
The railway service planning needs to take many factors into account in order to provide cost-effective services those meet the passenger transportation demands while maximizing the benefits. The task is a true challenge for service planners. The railway service planning system must be designed to cover the specific requirements of users that be able to calculate the cost of service operation and the revenue that is consistent with passenger volume. The results can be summarized in numerical and shown in the time graph. Thus, it could help visualize the overall factors and results to the user. Therefore, the user can adjust the service plan conveniently and effectively in a heuristic way.
