The developed solution is also aligned with the testing procedure requirements applicable to military equipment tests [12]. The system is mainly designed for testing prototype technological devices subject to significant changes in the temperature of the environment in which they operate, including thermal shocks; it also enables periodic quality checks of manufactured goods [1, 2]. With the developed system the following may be tested: the operation of individual mechanisms; the shape stability and resistance [10]; the resistance to damage; as well as the operability of electronic systems [3]. The flexible method of programming tests used in the system enables the performance of both normative and non-standard tests, depending on the requirements of the research to be carried out. The article describes the system design process, its architecture, structure, and operation, as well as the prototype verification test results. The validated prototype test system was incorporated into the structure of the laboratory for the identification and verification of technical safety of industrial and special-purpose applications under environmental conditions established at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (Łukasiewicz–ITEE).","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124590889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of all the elements of the semi-monocoque structure, the airframe skin is most often damaged during operation. The fragments of the skin between the frame elements of the semi-monocoque structure are considered as a thin-walled plate. The paper presents an analysis of the repair node of a metal plate subjected to uniform shear. The model of the repaired plate made in the Ansys Workbench environment was used for the analysis. The boundary conditions were defined by means of an articulated frame using the possibilities of the computing environment in the scope of, defining elements among others. The model was initially verified experimentally, assuming that it can be used to carry out a comparative analysis of two methods of repairing a damaged plate, using CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) materials. Analyzing the obtained results, it was found that the repair does not restore the original strength of the damaged structure, however, it reduces the stress of the plate material around the opening by 10%.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132750158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methodology of the manufacturing system analysis was presented, which is aimed to support the appropriate approach to the construction of simulation models. The scope of the work includes the technological identification of the furniture manufacturing and assembly process in real production conditions, on the basis of which the appropriate simulation model was built. The course of the process was analyzed in the Arena software on the basis of a computer simulation based on reports. As a result of the simulation of the manufacturing process with the use of information from report of usage, an area for improvement was located. The re-analysis of the material flow made it possible to propose a change in the input parameters for the simulation model in the indicated area. The results of the second simulation show significant changes in the effective use of workstations and increase in the efficiency of the production line. In practice, it can be the basis for introducing simulated changes in the production system.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"235 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122439707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most common materials to achieve this goal are composite layered materials, including the sandwich ones. High strength, stiffness and low density have made sandwich composites one of the fundamental materials of the aerospace industry. Sandwich-structured composites can be manufactured with a variety of methods, differing primarily in the manufacturing time, which translates into an overall cost of making a composite component. The research focused on three methods of manufacturing sandwich composite materials with a honeycomb core, differing in the number of operations, during which it was possible to obtain a finished composite panel (single-phase, two-phase and three-phase methods). The authors manufactured and examined composites with a honeycomb cover and two composite glass fibre-reinforced covers. The composites were made by means of the vacuum bag method. As a result of the conducted study, it was found that composites manufactured with the single-phase method have the shortest manufacture time as well as the lowest material consumption, however their strength properties are the lowest. The two-phase method requires a longer manufacture time and more material consumption, however it makes it possible to obtain a composite with higher strength compared with the single-phase method. The three-phase method has the longest composite manufacture time and the highest material consumption.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121470843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors presented the SMED methodology. They made the analysis of the sealing station in the production process of tubes for catalytic converters in relation to the real model. Optimisation the sealing station in production process of tubes for catalytic converters has been done in this article. For this purpose was used one of the tools of Lean Manufacturing, SMED. Diagnosis of machine changeover operations was carried out and also measurement of the times necessary for doing these operations. Using spaghetti diagram, the path which is covered by the operator during machine changeover, was shown. Delegation of specific tasks carried out previously by the operator to production workers and implementation of organisational and technical solution has had the effect of relieving of the operator and shortening of time necessary for machine changeover and increasing productivity at the sealing station.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121498522","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concern uses the \"20 Steps Procedure\", which is a set of guidelines for each stage of qualifying suppliers of components for production processes. It systematizes individual activities and sets the powers and responsibilities of the departments involved in various phases of the qualification process. This article describes its three phases. An important element of the procedure is a detailed supplier auditing system. It is necessary to be sure that a supplier has an effective management system and controls its production processes, and that the manufactured elements meet all the concern's requirements. The presented system of supplier evaluation and qualification seems to indicate a rather cautious approach of the concern to the admission of new suppliers of components or semi-finished products. Criteria used in this area are very critical, but formulated in a very clear and transparent manner, understandable both for the company's auditors and for current and future suppliers.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"143 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133731201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors prepared samples of a composite material with a polymeric matrix L285 and H285 hardener, reinforced with eight ply fabric of carbon fibre. Two shapes of the impactor (spherical and V-shape) were used to perform the testing. The samples were impacted by three values of energy (10, 15, 20 [J]). Three-point bending tests were performed to the residual strength of the samples subjected to impact tests and compared to samples which had not been damaged earlier. The study showed differences in the influence of the shapes of the impactor on the nature of the composite damage. After the test, conclusions were drawn about the influence of the shape of the impactor on the area of composite damage and its character. Also, its influence on residual strength was described. Despite the clear differences in the area of damage to composites impacted by different impactors, this does not have a significant influence on the residual strength.","PeriodicalId":224295,"journal":{"name":"Technologia i Automatyzacja Montażu","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129277845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
