Since the increasing outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, there are many risks that banks will face, such as bad loans as measured by the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio, a decrease in net interest margin as measured by the Net Interest Margin (NIM) ratio, increasing Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), and increasing Third Party Funds (DPK) but not followed by high lending. This disrupts the balance between loans and deposits, measured through the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR). In this study using secondary data types in the form of data on the highest Core Capital Bank Group (BUKU IV) in Indonesia, using quarterly data for the 2018-2021 period using the Fixed Effect Model method. This data is obtained from the website of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Indonesia, and Worldometer. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the NPL, NIM, BOPO, and Dummy COVID-19 variables on LDR. The results showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the NIM and BOPO variables had a positive and significant effect while the NPL and Dummy Covid variables showed a negative and significant relationship to the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR).","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132415409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whenever a person needs another person to solve their problems, their intertwining goals and preferences should be adjusted through negotiation. From this recurrent demand of dealing with negotiation, we constantly seek ways to improve it. One of the ways is by learning and assessing strategic behavior in negotiation. Starting from this objective, we systematically reviewed 1,490 articles to build a comprehensive outlook on negotiation behavior research progress. We use five systems of observation level to categorize the articles included in this study that are: (1) intrapersonal system, (2) interpersonal system, (3) group system, (4) organizational system, and (5) virtual system. The result showed us that the research landscape has progressed toward the development of automated negotiating agents besides observing human negotiators exclusively. We also see the emerging interplay between systems of observation level","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126325892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We expected to discover a number of broad competitive advantage elements arising from procurement actions in the context of the circular economy transition. Businesses should adjust their strategic emphasis and begin to introduce environmentally friendly goods into their product lines, according to the conclusions of our creative thinking approach employing the six thinking hats. Furthermore, when we transition to circular economy concepts, quality control procedures and manufacturing standards should be prioritized. Companies should collaborate with strategic suppliers to acquire old items from other industries that would otherwise be considered waste, as long as they can provide the necessary value.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130037780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the research was to find out the common areas addressed in the empirical research landscape on WFCs during the last five years and the areas that need more focus for future research. The study used the systematic literature review methodology using the PRISMA framework. Four hundred twenty (420) empirical studies conducted between 2015 and 2020 were considered for the review. The finding revealed that eleven common areas had been addressed. They can be categorized into four themes: “volatile resources, gender, and mental health outcomes”, “social support, work-life balance policies, and well-being problems”, “emotional exhaustion and work-family enrichment” and “job-related outcomes”. The results have implications for theory, practitioners, and future researchers. Furthermore, there were some limitations to this study.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124151485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it came with the possibility of implementing structural policies and reforms. The pandemic slowed down economic activities in the global market and translated into crashed oil prices, which gave room for reforms such as subsidy removal. Nigeria maximized the opportunity to remove the full subsidy on petroleum products, especially Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). But the possibility was not last enough for the populace to enjoy. COVID-19 pandemic and its consequence on oil price had affected the Nigerian economy by ways of fiscal constraint, loss of revenue, the exit of businesses in the market, job cuts and soaring unemployment rate. Exchange rate fluctuation is prevalent, the inflation rate is on the rise and thereby, poverty incidence has increased. In cushioning the effect of the pandemic, governments at all levels, religious bodies, businesses and individuals donated towards the fight and support of people during the pandemic. Nigeria should maintain a strong economic basis, single its double sides of being exporter and importer at the same time; and ensure local refining of the petroleum products. Also, it has come of age for developing a national package to forestall a similar crisis in an instance of similar occurrence.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133429640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to identify the organizational resilience factors and develop the organizational resilience preliminary framework for engineering consulting companies from a leadership and organizational culture perspective. The qualitative method is chosen by interviews with key persons from engineering consulting companies established for more than 25 years. Then, a recent literature review is conducted to explore the indicators used to assess organizational resilience from a leadership and organizational culture perspective. From the interview, new indicators are found: resource orchestration, risk-taking, and egalitarianism as new indicators from the leadership and reward system and organizational formality level as new indicators from an organizational culture perspective.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131467979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research examines the relevance of using the Accounting Information System (AIS) obtained by Accounting Software (AS) to achieve business success for the owners and management of the organization. Accounting software features such as efficiency; accuracy; dependability; data quality; and simplicity of use are used in this study as a predictor of bank performance. The data for this study was gathered by a survey that included 100 responses from employees of 35 Lebanese commercial banks, which were then studied. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS, version 20) was used to perform correlation and multilinear regression analyses on the data. Efficiencies, dependability, and simplicity of use all correlated positively with bank performance, but data quality and accuracy negatively related to bank performance.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115174131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Access to health is dependant to a large extent on factors external to the health system: genetic factors, environmental, socio-economic and cultural factors. Access to health care is almost entirely influenced by the organization of the health system. The numerous organizations in charge of service regulation, financing, and provision define the Egyptian health system. Additionally, health outcomes in Egypt reflect epidemiological change. The limited financial resources of the healthcare system are heavily taxed by the rising prevalence of noncommunicable illnesses and the persistently high levels of some select communicable diseases. Inequality in the coverage of health care and health outcomes is made worse by this, as well as financial inefficiencies. This paper applies a SWOT analysis on the Egyptian health system, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and stating some directions that health system reform must follow in order to tackle the problems that it faces.","PeriodicalId":223559,"journal":{"name":"MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW","volume":"212 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120981647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
