In this paper, virtual money is divided into five modes: original, primary, ameliorative, intermediate and advanced. The primary and the ameliorative virtual money do not have the full four money functions, is not a true sense of money. However, intermediate and advanced virtual money have the full spectrum of characteristics of moneyness, can be treated as the real money. The impetus of evolution comes from the increase of in-game virtual goods trade, the facilitation prompted by information technology progress and internet development, the needs from users, and the choice from issuers who seek to maximize profit. The paper proposed that virtual money evolving from primary to advanced mode will attract more players into the online games and prompt the frog leap of the game subscription, which will bring more profit for the game operators. From a survey, we found that all the virtual money in china is in primary (ameliorative) mode, but the demand for intermediate mode virtual money is strengthening, and the emergence of advanced mode should experience a long but promising process. Different regulatory measures on virtual money should be taken corresponding to the different modes.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128664162","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A radial basis-function neural network (RBFNN) controller was used to learn and to compensate the unknown model dynamics, parameter variation and disturbance of the system on-line. The iterative algorithm of RBFNN parameters is got by Lyapunov stability theory. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is evaluated by simulation results and a real-time flight simulator system experiment. It is found that the proposed scheme can reduce the plant's sensitivity to parameter variation and disturbance and high precision performance of flight simulator can be obtained.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"172 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115195890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It extends the Minimum link paths (MLPs) in a constraint-based algorithm to perform pedestrians' global path computations for avoiding diverse obstacles in complex dynamic scenes. Simultaneously, it uses a modified social force model to capture pedestrians' local dynamics with distinct individual characteristics and intermediate goals. The model has augmented the pedestrian's cognitive capability on environment. At global level, it minimizes the shortest global path graph for avoiding obstacles. At local level, it intelligently selects the immediate target in global path graph which instructs the pedestrian local motion, instead of using a pre-defined or a single goal attraction path potential. We simulate the model in a complex indoor scenario consisting of multiple pedestrians and diverse obstacles to generate realistic animation.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115456534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cognitive states for work environment of mobile robot are gotten from a pattern classifier based on Adaptive Resonance Theory-2 (ART-2) network. Then rational strategies for behaviors coordination are developed by on-line affective cognitive learning. The behaviors of robot navigation are designed by dynamic system approach. This control strategy can make the mobile robot navigate autonomously and safely in unknown environment. Simulation studies have demonstrated that the integration of the affective system with cognitive system can speed up the learning process, and the proposed strategy can effectively improve the capability of robot's autonomous navigation in unknown environment.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"2011 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116052045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is crucial to locate and to replace the fault processors to maintain system's high reliability. The fault diagnosis is the process of identifying fault processors in a system through testing. The conditional diagnosis requires that for each processor v in a system, all the processors that are directly connected to v do not fail at the same time. In this paper, the conditional diagnosability of the MÖbius cubes MQn under the comparison diagnosis model is 3n−5 when n≥7. Hence the conditional diagnosability of MQn is three times larger than its classical diagnosability.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114919873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, two pattern extraction approaches, continuous wavelet transformation (CWT)-based one and discrete wavelet transformation (DWT)-based one, are proposed to extract hidden expression patterns for cancer classification and are compared. Gene expression data are highly redundant and highly noisy, and hidden gene correlation patterns play more important roles to cancer classification than any single gene or simple combinations of genes. The CWT can more efficiently detect the consistent correlation signature than the DWT due to the availability of more detail information. Testing results on two publicly available gene expression datasets show the effectiveness and efficiency of the CWT-based approach.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114705980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the model, the causes of the errors in measurement equation are analyzed, concluding that HDOP (Horizontal Dilution of Precision) and VDOP (Vertical Dilution of Precision) of GPS are the crucial factors for the change of measurement noise in the mathematical model. In order to decrease the navigation errors and improve the anti-interference performance, this paper proposes a novel second order fuzzy self-adaptive filter algorithm for GPS/INS navigation system. Choosing the differences of location and velocity information provided by GPS receiver and INS device as the inputs, this filter modifies the regulation factor based on the residual sequence statistical information and PDOP (Position Dilution of Precision) provided by GPS receiver to correct the outputs of INS device using fuzzy logic. Simulation experiments were conducted. The results show that the improved adaptive Kalman filtering algorithm for GPS/ INS navigation system proposed in this paper has a strong adaptability to time-varying measurement noises, which improves the navigation precision.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114710413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present an iteration procedure to optimize the size of the undercomplete dictionary when multiple undercomplete dictionaries are used to characterize the scattering signatures of a complex target. Furthermore, we extend the signature reconstruction and decision criterion with only single undercomplete dictionary to the case with multiple dictionaries for a more practical target identification application. The proposed approach is compared with the matching-score criterion-based approach and single dictionary-based approach using measured signatures of three aircraft models in an ultra wide-band chamber. Results show that the proposed approach can provide more promising identification accuracy due to a more effective representation to the complex scattering behaviors.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125489197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
