The steps to produce the complete test scheme is suggested, with the help of which, the DC current excitation positions and the voltage measurement positions of a complete test can be produced automatically. The process of the automatic acquisition and test controlled by the host computer is described. An experimental grounding grid with sixty branches is automatically tested based on the automatic acquisition system, the diagnosis results of which show the feasibility of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132573962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The functions of reducing inner friction disturbance and bating carrier turbulence are designed respectively. The aspects of the system performance and robustness are analyzed and compared with single speed loop control structure in detail. The inner speed loop adopts PI tuner to overcome the influence of nonlinearities caused by friction and mechanical resonances and a time optimal self-tuning PID control algorithm is developed to bate the carrier disturbance in outer stabilized loop. The proposed control structure and scheme based on DSP have been realized in a four-axis opto-electronic stabilized tracking platform. Experimental results can achieve higher stabilized precision and perfect control performance. The proposed control structure and method is effective and practicable in real practical applications.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127083170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a real-time estimator is developed to get the parameters. Firstly, we analyze the shortcomings resulting from directly solving the system equations to get tether parameters. Secondly, the equations are simplified and the corresponding problems are thoroughly investigated. And lastly, combing the measurements of a three-axis tether tensiometer with the information of attitude sensor, we use the Extended Kalman Filter to estimate the parameters in real time. The proposed estimator not only reduces the complexity of system model, but also improves the parameters' precision. Simulation results verify the validity of this method.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124815622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a fast and adaptive method for infrared small target detection using gray-scale morphology and backward cumulative histogram analysis of the image. The proposed algorithm consists of five phases. Firstly, the perceptually insignificant large image background regions are removed using gray-scale morphology processing. Then, we generate backward cumulative histogram of the image after background elimination. To smooth noisy data, the backward cumulative histogram profile is fitted by a low order polynomial. Thirdly, the lower limit of the threshold that best extracts small targets is obtained based on dynamic analysis of the derivative curve of fitted low-order polynomial. Fourthly, optimal threshold is selected based on reasonable range of the threshold and constant false alarm rate. Finally, false targets are further removed by modified multi-frame data association. Experimental results show that our proposed method obtains very high detection rate and extremely low false alarm rate.","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124860029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A desired fixture design can be employed to hold the workpart securely so that slippage and excessive deformation can be prevented during machining. Therefore, appropriate fixturing contributes highly to machining quality. To reduce lead time and the human effort devoted to fixture planning, it is significant to research computer aided fixture design (CAFD) technology and system. However, feasible fixture element database is important to efficiently develop CAFD system. This paper deep investigates the fixture locator configuration and its corresponding dimensions. Thus, a priority-number-system-based method is proposed to formulate the function relationship among all dimensions. This research work can supply the theoretical basis to realize automated fixture design (AFD).","PeriodicalId":223425,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information and Automation","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123565072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
