The negative capacitance characteristics of the dielectric material is modeled by charge dependent ferroelectric polarization effect. With the increase in thickness of ferroelectric material, improvement in sub-threshold characteristics is observed. The sub-threshold swing value goes below Boltzmann limit of 60mV/decade, which is the minimum value of sub-threshold swing for conventional FETs. The experiment was performed in the X-Band under the frequency range of (9-11.5 GHz) for understanding various materialistic and microwave properties of the material. Scattering parameters were analyzed for understanding the reflection coefficient(S11) and transmission coefficient(S12) of the thin film. It provides not only food but also playing a key role in the economy of a country. Due to the attacks of bio aggressors or pests, agricultural byproduct lost heavily in every year. This paper is based on image processing methods to detect pest. Some of the segmentation techniques like region of interest (ROI), relative difference in intensities (RDI) and k-mean (KMEAN) clustering are implemented and tested for the detection of pests and extracting from its background. Performance of three above techniques can be analyzed by image quality assessment parameters such as structural content (SC), normalized absolute error (NAE), normalized correlation coefficient (NCC), average differences (AD) and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR). ROI achieves better performance among all the techniques. The proposed model uses Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm with PSO tuning for the accurate estimation of the phasors of the power signals. The proposed technique also functions actively for precise evaluation of changes in the phase angles as well as amplitude of the harmonics and inter harmonics along with situations arising due to high noise. The algorithm is robust towards any changes in the dynamics of the signals or distortions produced due to noise and harmonics. In the proposed model presented in the paper, ‘Particle Swarm Optimization’ has been applied to update the learning rate of ADALINE which provides the best performance in presence of dynamic variations. A non-radiating ground plane slot functions as a DGS in order to change the boundary condition of the aperture-fed cylindrical DRA. The new radiating modes have been successfully excited along with the dominant HEM11δ mode of the cylindrical DRA. The matching bandwidth of the proposed antenna has been widened up to 27% (3.58 GHz to 4.7 GHz) due to the coexistence of the newly generated radiating modes. Here, 2-dimensional honeycomb photonic crystal structure is realized by a honeycomb lattice with three different types of the semiconductor as background material such as AlGaAs, InP, GaInP to investigate the sucrose concentration. Though similar types of works are found in the literature to envisage photonic sensor by 2-D square lattice crystal structure, the present work manipulates with 2-D honeycomb crystal structure. The principle behind the work is the variation of PBG (photonic band gap) in accordance with the sucrose concentration. In the whole process, the losses like absorption and reflection losses are considered to figure out the equivalent voltage at the output of the crystal structure. To get the variation of PBG, plane wave expansion (PWE) simulation method is adopted and the result reveals that the output emerging from the photonic structure increases almost linearly with the concentration of sucrose. Bistatic radar operates with dedicated transmitter or with transmitters of opportunity. But multistatic radar system uses multiple active transmitters at different locations to increase the detection area for target localization. In this paper the optimal geometry of a multistatic radar is analyzed based on the signal to noise ratio and transmitter to target to receiver distance. The detection coverage of monostatic, bistatic and multistatic radar with different antenna placement has been carried out with the Oval of Cassini and its parameters. In this paper we have proposed a DGMOS HFET structure in which one of the metal gates has been replaced by a linearly graded binary meal alloy of Ni and Cd. The work functions of these two alloys are varied from 4.08eV to 5.01eV. Various DC and RF parameters of this metal alloy gate structure and metal gate structure of DGMOS HFETs have been found out from the 2D simulation using commercial Sentaurus TCAD tool. It is environmentally friendly as because it is free from mechanical and thermal interlink. A typical solar PV module consists of 72 nos. of PV cells, which when connected in series and parallel usually produces DC voltage between 23 volts to 45 volts, with a maximum power of 320 watt which again depends upon the amount of solar radiation and environmental temperature. Modeling of Photovoltaic module and its characteristics under temperature and irradiance variation condition along with MPPT is described in this chapter.
