TIDEP-0094 or IWR1642BOOST evaluation board embedded with an IWR1642 chip and XDS110 MCU is used to perform the required operation using mmWave Technology. The mmWave sensor (IWR1642) is used to detect any obstacle near it. It sends the data to the MCU XDS110 where it is processed to perform the different operations.","PeriodicalId":222759,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing and Communication (AESPC)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127089416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study focuses its interest in microwave properties of the material. Various studies like scattering parameters (S11 and S21) and effective shielding were analyzed. Analysis of various microwave studies gave high reflection coefficient −57 dB at 10 GHz and low transmission value of 0 dB at 11GHz. As this material shows good microwave behaviour in 9-11.5 GHz this material can be used as microwave reflecting material. The polymer matrix has given this material a new aspect of utilization for microwave application.","PeriodicalId":222759,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing and Communication (AESPC)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122402734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the intensity of pixels of an image, pixels are divided into two classes, noise-free pixel and noisy pixel. The noise-free pixels are left unprocessed and noisy pixel are undergone a filtering process. A threshold value of noise density of the entire image is compared with the threshold level of dimension of the image and depending on it the noisy pixel is processed by mean of the noise-free pixel. The proposed algorithm operates on the boundary pixels and contributes to the edge detection effectively. The simulation is done on Lena and Cameraman image and the tested parameters are the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Image Enhancement factor (IEF). PSNR at high noise density (>80%) is greater than any other mentioned filter.","PeriodicalId":222759,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing and Communication (AESPC)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129699082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed planar array-antenna which is designed to work at the frequency of 2.4GHz consists of 4×4 elements in which the inset feed method is employed to excite each antenna element. The planar array-antenna is implemented using a 1.6 mm thick FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate and analyzed through a simulation. The simulated result of radiation characteristics for the planar array-antenna is then validated by experimental characterization. It shows that the spiral shaped DGS incorporation yields measured radiation characteristics of the planar array-antenna to have the bandwidth response of 140 MHz and the gain achievement of 10.47 dB at its resonant frequency. This is comparable to the simulated result which is showing the potentiality of spiral shaped DGS usage in the improvement of radiation characteristics.","PeriodicalId":222759,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing and Communication (AESPC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125900186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
