In China, most regional SSPEs were set up for industrial productions with coal-fired power plants. The future development of SSPE with energy transition is discussed. Manual information correction not only takes time but also requires special equipment. The paper shows the innovative method and practice in the electric power utilities of the users-transformers relationship detection. In the first step, the method extracts the high-frequency features from the current time series data by wavelet transform. Then, a mathematics model which reveals the relationship between users and transformers is created based on the Kirchhoff’s law of current. At last, the result can be achieved by solving the model with mixed integer linear programming (MILP) with participation of Groubi optimizer. The paper also shows the structure and display panel of the secondary power distribution system smart management platform. For a real-time image, we can achieve the purpose of equipment panel detection and segmentation, which facilitate the task of equipment monitoring. We use the Mask R-CNN algorithm to detect how many target devices there are in the picture and to find the category corresponding to each device. In each target device, the foreground and background are distinguished at the pixel level. The method is described as follows. First of all, we collected a total of 4,500 pictures in 60 categories of power room equipment for our experiments. Next, we labeled all the pictures using Labelimg, which is an open source software for data annotation, the marked pictures were preprocessed as the data set to train and test the proposed model. Limited by the complex working environment of power grid, the application of artificial intelligence in power grid system is just beginning. This paper focuses on a new neural network structure proposed by Google: EfficientDet. Based on the analysis of its characteristics, we applied the EfficientDet model to detect substation workers. The feasibility of applying EfficientDet model to substation personnel detection is verified. The advantages and disadvantages of EfficientDet model used in substation personnel detection and location are proved by experiments, and the possible improvement direction in the next step is discussed. This causes various issues and also provides controllability of load side to distribution grid. In this paper the penetration ratios of DERs in future are estimated according to their trends in China. Issues including overloading caused by EV in urban area, and overvoltage caused by PV in rural area are extracted based on simulation of typical grid models. Conventional technical solutions for these issues, such as hardware upgrading, tap changing, and local control of VAR devices, and new technical solutions, such as centralized control of VAR devices, and optimal control of DERs, are evaluated quantitatively on typical grid models. The electricity retail market has officially entered the stage of power market in Yunnan Province. The construction of power retail market is conducive to improving the activity of power market, cultivating the market awareness of power users, promoting power users to improve demand side management ability, and ensuring the safe, economic and efficient operation of power system. According to the official website of Kunming Power Exchange Center Company Limited, at present, there are 146 registered power sales companies and 33062 registered power users in Yunnan Province. The power market transactions are active, the transacted electricity quantity is increasing year by year, and the power retail market is booming. The retail package of electricity is the basis of mutual benefit and win-win between the electricity selling company and the retail users. The flexible, reasonable and effective electric retail package reflects the healthy and efficient operation of the electric retail market to a certain extent. Therefore, the research and development of electric power retail package is a very meaningful topic, which is worthy of in-depth study and practice.Firstly, based on the operation of Yunnan electric power wholesale market and electric power retail market, combined with the business practice of Yunnan electric power retail settlement payment, this paper points out the constraint boundary of the design of electric power retail package in electricity market of Yunnan province, such as the coupling constraints between electric power wholesale transaction and retail transaction, the coupling constraints between electric power wholesale settlement and retail settlement, etc. Then, combined with the characteristics of electricity load, electricity price bearing capacity, demand response and other characteristics, this paper makes a user portrait of Yunnan users, classifies and summarizes the power transaction demand of retail users, and designs the corresponding electric power retail package, such as free service, conditional service fee, price difference income, energy management and other electric power packages, which are full through the appropriate electric power retail package. It can meet the demand of electricity retail users and form a win-win situation. Secondly, this paper introduces the operation mode of all kinds of retail packages in Electricity Market of Yunnan province in detail. First, based on the existing research results on load clustering and grid planning, the concepts of the feeder block and the power supply unit are redefined and the technical framework of MV distribution network planning considering the division of the power supply is designed. Then, the evaluation indexes of feeder block division considering the complementary of the load characteristic are set up, and rotation center line distance weighting alternate location algorithm is proposed to divide the feeder block. Further, the evaluation indexes of feeder block division considering complementary of the load characteristic are set up, and the method of dividing the power supply unit is proposed.
