Abstract
In this paper, a smart distributed feeder automation (FA) technology based on 5G wireless communication is proposed, which can achieve fast and accurate fault removal, improve the sensitivity and rapidity of fault handling in distribution network, meet the requirements of fault handling in areas where optical fiber cannot be laid, and further improve the reliability of power supply. It is verified and tested by a practical example.
