The redistribution of the load between the elements of the strip foundation reinforced with ready-made (precast) piles of shallow laying was studied. The operation of the existing strip foundation, its reinforcement with piles, the formation of the grid of the newly created pile foundation was simulated, while the relative length of the piles and their step along the row, the nature of the placement of the reinforcement piles (removable or arranged through the body of the foundation), and the density of the sand base were varied. The operation of models of single piles of different lengths and grid without piles as a foundation for shallow laying was also investigated. The nature of inclusion in the work of piles and the newly created grid is determined. The dependences of the load-bearing capacity of the elements of the pile foundation, the degree of realization of this load-bearing capacity when working together in the soil environment, and the relative length and pitch of the piles, and the density of the base soil are given. The specific values of the load-bearing capacity of the reinforcement piles per unit of spent material are determined. The obtained results were analyzed regarding the difference between the inclusion of short and long piles in the work of reinforcement with a comparison of all options.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139143739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A number of works on the specified problem are analyzed, in particular, the results of technical diagnostics of many buildings and structures, both newly built and in long-term operation, are described. The need for periodic technical diagnostics is noted and the appropriate proposals are formulated to restore (strengthen) the load-bearing capacity of such structures. Based on the completed full-scale studies of reinforced concrete structures in long-term operation of workshops in chemical industry plants, the main factors that significantly affect the reduction of the load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete structures in aggressive air conditions at chemical industry enterprises are summarized. In particular, the following reinforced concrete structures were examined: columns, beams, trusses, covering slabs and wall panels and other structures at the Caustic Soda and Chlorine Plant (KSiH) and other plants of V.O. \"Chlorvinyl\" in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, which were installed in 1968-1973. The destruction of the paint coating due to the action of wet gases HCl and Cl2, the destruction of ribbed panels with a paint coating due to the action of dry chlorine in the calcium tetrachloride workshop, as well as the action of salt corrosion, and the destruction of pipeline supports due to the action of dry chlorine are noted. These destructions are presented in this paper and shown in fig. 1. They are concluded to the following: to mistakes made during design; to defects and shortcomings in construction; to shortcomings in the operation of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, in aggressive environments. Recommendations for protecting reinforced concrete structures in accordance with the aggressive environments, which they are operated in, are given.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139143003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such production for the modeling and optimization of casting structures and the production of metal products corresponds to the concept of Industry 4.0, aimed at obtaining competitive products quickly, conveniently, variably, with minimal personnel and the desire to exclude the subject from the technological cycle of production, close to the requirements of the consumer, including industrial and construction hardware. 3D technology, which includes the optimization of structures by digital methods, is an effective means of reducing the cost and weight of metal structures, reducing metal consumption. At the current transition stage to mass additive production, there is a need for a gradual combination of digital and traditional technologies in the process of industrial development on an innovative basis, which is an effective mechanism for overcoming the crisis phenomena of the war and post-war periods. In this regard, the use of 3D technology for obtaining cast metal structures, in particular those made by casting according to gasifying models, has significant opportunities. There are three examples of the application of 3D technology for printing metal structures, in the process of manufacturing lightweight openwork castings, which includes printing a foundry sand mold, and during 3D milling of a one-time foundry pattern from polystyrene foam. As one of the key drivers of Industry 4.0, 3D technologies, according to experts, are capable of standing on a par with traditional technologies, and in the near future, replacing at least half of the existing machine park and procurement equipment. There is a lot of talk about what is holding back the active use of 3D printers by enterprises, but the most common limitation is the unwillingness of the enterprises themselves to rethink, engineer their production, put it on the rails of digital technologies; certainly, it is difficult, but necessary to maintain their competitiveness.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139142576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The issue of road maintenance has become especially relevant and important during the period of martial law, since, for obvious reasons, roads are critical infrastructure facilities. Of course, the treatment of such facilities should be appropriate to their purpose. All of this requires research, assessment of the effects of the war on the condition of roads due to their destruction, and development of measures to improve the state of road construction. An important role is assigned to the resource base of road construction - first of all, the availability of bitumen and mineral fillers. The length of public roads in Ukraine is analyzed in comparison with the leading countries of the world. Positive trends in the market of road construction and repair related to the reform of the road sector are identified. The quality of roads and their saturation in comparison with other countries of the world is assessed. The problematic issues of domestic production and imports of bitumen are investigated. The article shows Ukraine's import dependence and lack of organic binder, as well as the practical absence of concrete road construction. The author analyzes the development and improvement of the regulatory framework for the design and construction of roads. Prospects for the implementation of the public-private partnership mechanism are shown, taking into account international experience The necessity of implementing the public-private partnership mechanism, in particular, through the concession mechanism, is substantiated. The regulatory framework needs to be updated to meet EU requirements and implement international standards. The implementation of these measures will help to increase the level of validity of operational and strategic management decisions to ensure the effective functioning and development of Ukrainian road sector enterprises.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139143494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

New prerequisites for the territorial and spatial organization of the regions of Ukraine are being formed. The research aims to develop a methodological approach to the systematization of the type of region. The formation of regions is determined by a complex of physical - geographical, socio-economic, military - political, cultural and religious features and characteristics. There are well-known examples of a sharp and radical breakdown of the military-political situation and the slow civilizational and evolutionary formation of new regional entities. At this stage, the tasks of urban planning analysis of trends and tendencies of changes in the regional structure appear. The prerequisites for changes in the territorial spatial organization of the war-torn regions of Ukraine are analyzed. The main parameters of the formation of the region are determined in the process of systematization of typological features. The main factors and regularities of regional development, trends in changing the form and function of the object of study, the forecast of changes in the structure of the region are carried out using systemic analysis. An analysis of the main features/imperatives forming the \"basis\" of regionalism has been carried out. The features and properties of the territorial system of the corresponding typology are determined by the function, autonomy of the territorial system construction, and the stability of the system. It was determined that the extra-regional influence that forms the new region provides the task of state security, compliance with the function of the border, and the function of military-political limitation. The program strategy of its development should provide methodological prerequisites for the implementation of the main functions and tasks. The generalized systematization of the type of regions in modern conditions provides grounds for defining a region covering the territories of several regions, the borders of which determine the limits of a special regime. The defined border is the state border of Ukraine, the depth of the region is determined by the size of the special regime zone, the influence of the security factors of the demarcation line. Contours of the border region are determined at the level of decisions of central authorities.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139144491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was established that the degree of implementation of the load-bearing capacity of piles and grids as part of a strip pile foundation depends not only on the relative length and pitch of the piles, but also on the method of their arrangement. Taking into account the actual operation of piles and grids as part of the pile foundation allows to increase the load-bearing capacity of the pile foundation as a whole and, accordingly, to save material and labor resources during construction work. Based on the results of the study, the difference in the operation of drilled and driven piles in the strip pile foundation was established. The load-bearing capacity of a low grid as part of a strip pile foundation on bored piles is 1.5-2 times greater than in pile foundations made of driven piles. The degree of implementation of the load-bearing capacity of the pile as part of the pile foundation is significantly greater for foundations made of drilled piles compared to foundations made of driven piles. For foundations made of driven piles, at step 3d - 6d, the piles in the strip do not fully realize their load-bearing capacity. Drill pile groups increase their load-bearing capacity by working in a group, even with a minimum pitch. Since pile foundations from drilled piles significantly increase their bearing capacity due to the joint work of their elements under load in comparison with pile foundations from driven piles, taking into account this joint work, pile foundations from drilled piles become competitive with similar foundations from driven piles.","PeriodicalId":221366,"journal":{"name":"Modern technology, materials and design in construction","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139144498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article examines the importance of BIM as a tool aimed at obtaining comprehensive and detailed information about the construction, condition, and functionality of buildings. The primary objective of employing BIM in the context of technical inspections lies in the ability to create digital models that integrate diverse data related to the constructive and engineering characteristics of buildings. This ensures the standardization of information and simplifies analytical processes directed towards making well-founded decisions. The process of modeling an analytical model within the BIM system requires the integration of calculations with model parameters to account for the behavior of constructions under various load conditions and different design alternatives. The application of analytical analysis methods in the digital environment allows for more precise and reliable results, facilitating the identification of potential issues and optimizing design decisions. The paper presents an analysis of the experience in using preprocessors in creating computational models within the BIM system. Special attention is given to the role of the Structural Information Model (SIM) in the life cycle of the BIM model. The rules and methods of SIM development in the information modeling system are discussed, along with the unique features in the development of an analytical model within the SIM system. The study elaborates on the advantages of utilizing SIM during the technical inspection of buildings and provides specific examples for addressing typical issues in the construction phase.
