One of the most dangerous effects is an interfering ultrashort pulse. The use of known devices for protection against conducted interference is hampered by a number of conflicting requirements, for example, protection of as many circuits as possible, small mass of a protective device, and the ability to function effectively for 15 years in space conditions. The protection of equipment against the ultrashort pulse, based on modal filtering is proposed. The paper presents the results of the development of a modal filter prototype with a broad-side coupling. When choosing a structure, such parameters as the maximum bus current, insulation breakdown voltage, wave impedance of the line and the duration of the interfering ultrashort pulse were taken into account. To substantiate the choice of structure, quasi-static and electrodynamic simulations were performed. The simulation results showed that the modal filter effectively attenuate the 0.45-ns ultrashort pulse by 7 times. A modal filter prototype without resistors has been implemented, which showed a greater level of attenuation of the ultrashort pulse than the resistive construction.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116910323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A transition to electric traction drive currently is one of the topical and implemented directions at the global market. There are different of types of transport electrifying and the most common is using batteries which technical and economic characteristics begin to satisfy the world's automakers. Another perspective way is the conversion of natural gas like hydrogen into the electricity for the movement needs. The process of transition to a fully electric traction drive requires an integrated approach and cannot be considered without taking into account power sources limitations, changes in the infrastructure of cities, climatic features, environmental security and economic feasibility. In this context, it makes sense to consider the united power plant consisted of batteries and hydrogen fuel converters because each of them has pros and cons if consider them like a divided power sources. This approach will increase the variability of suitable technological innovations while vehicles for different operating conditions designing.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122721463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our analysis shows that when using a cryogenic dielectric medium (liquid nitrogen), the electrical parameters used in the equivalent circuit of transformers are significantly improved compared to conventional, non-cryogenic media like oil, thereby reducing the loss of active power in the electrical network. The studies confirm the high level of pragmatics and the novelty of the obtained results. Experimental investigation has been carried out to obtain the current-voltage characteristics of an experimental model of a high-temperature superconducting transformer with a short-circuit current limiting feature. It is shown that at the time of short-circuit current limitation, an overvoltage occurs, which must also be limited. The results of our studies confirm the benefits of high-temperature superconducting transformers and pave the way for their usage in different electrical systems.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"223 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116163226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis of known approaches to providing noise immunity of the device is performed: use of selected spectral ranges of control; the use of additional channels of the device (hardware redundancy); the use of additional algorithms for signal processing channels of the device (software redundancy). Analytical dependences for modeling are formulated. The simulation of the optoelectronic device operation is performed. Calculation of the mathematical model was made using software package Matlab and the development environment RAD Studio. The characteristics of changes in spectral ratios depending on the temperature of the filament body are obtained. The spectral flux of the incandescent lamp is calculated from the dynamics of the temperature change of the incandescent body. As result of modeling, the spectral ranges of control – 1350±50, 2700±50 and 4300±50 nm were selected, and their ratios were based. Ratios of Q2700-1350 for the spectral flow of a fire and incandescent bulbs made up 10.9 and 0.164 respectively. Ratios of Q2700-4300 hearth and bulbs amounted to 1.34 and 4.13, respectively. The values of the ratios established in the range for Q2700-1350 from 10.748 to 0.784 for Q2700-4300 from 1.354 to 1.557for total flow with changes in temperature of the filament lamp. The characteristic values of the ratios changes characterizing the fire and the incandescent lamp and allowing to detect the radiation of the source against the background of optical interference are determined. Additional studies on the basis of the developed model should be carried out to more accurately identify the source of fire under the influence of dynamic optical interference.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124106926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis of the known approaches to the modeling of dynamic interferences in the form of radiation from incandescent lamps was carried out. Analytical dependencies for modeling were formulated. Radiation was simulated for direct current (5 W) incandescent lamp and alternating current (40 W) incandescent lamp. Mathematical modeling was performed using the Matlab software package. A special package for solving differential equations was used in Matlab. Dynamic characteristics of the change in filament temperature were obtained. The maximum measured temperature for the DC incandescent lamp is 2500 K. The maximum temperature of the AC incandescent lamp is 2450 K. The spectral radiation flux of the incandescent lamp was calculated from the dynamics of filament temperature. The rise and fall times of the integral radiation flux for the DC lamp were τ = 0.14 s and τ = 0.3 s, respectively. The rise and fall times for the AC lamp were τ = 0.06 s and τ = 0.12 s. An experiment was conducted to test the adequacy of the simulation. The calculated data at the output of the model correspond to the experimental data (the filament temperature and the dynamics of changes in the integral flux of optical radiation). Thus, the developed model is adequate.","PeriodicalId":216376,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133740095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
