The number of multiple rotations of C-arm depends on the total angle range resulting in large number of projections. Usually most of the liver disease features can be visible on CT images. However, the breathing and other liver surrounding organs motion during the acquisition can cause artifacts or missing important data on reconstructed CT images. In C-arm systems this is the consequence of the slow rotation. This paper gives an overview of existing motion correction algorithms used in medical imaging. These algorithms are based on image segmentation and registration.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116085254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The common hexapod robots, which are controlled by discrete conventional microcontrollers would require new chip replacement due to I/O constraint. With an FPGA, the user can scale design and include new functionality later in the design process without buying new additional hardware. In this paper, we introduce the hybrid architecture as a combination of FPGA and microcontroller design. The goal of this work is to extend context arbitration of a fuzzy behavior-based approach for hexapod robot navigation at the FPGA device. Verilog has been used to develop FLC on FPGA. The controller algorithm is developed and implemented on FPGA Altera Cyclone IV board. An experimental evaluation of hexapod autonomous navigation at a rough terrain presents advantages of this hierarchy approach for real-time robot embedded systems.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123402624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is no certain way to design the sliding surface (SS) for nonlinear systems, which has a key role in satisfying the stability and performance criteria. Thus, an optimal method can be useful in the design process of SS to deal with these weaknesses. In this study, State Dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE) based SMC is used to control the motion of a laboratory helicopter in two axes, namely travel and elevation axes. Experimental evaluation is performed using this 3-DOF helicopter platform and results are compared against a SMC with linear time-invariant SS to establish the efficacy of the approach. Therefore, this study presents experimental investigation for establishing the feasibility of the proposed optimal robust control architecture.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130436259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That delivery can be on site or to customer's homes. In order to achieve that it is important to have enough goods stored in warehouses and prepared for delivery. It is not a good decision to clutter up warehouses with the goods because space is limited and expensive and it makes it more complicated to collect orders. Those are the reasons why it is important that number of stored goods converge to the exact number of product units that will be ordered in the future. Demand forecasting tries to solve that problem. In this work demand forecasting algorithm based on Long Short-Term Memory recurrent neural network is described and compared with demand forecasting algorithms developed by authors before.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131297175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In several studies was noted that these problems are related to the lack of flexibility and programmability of the data plane, which is likely first to suffer potential denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. One possible way to overcome this problem is to increase the flexibility of the data plane by increasing the depth of programmability of the packet-switching nodes below the level of flow table management. Therefore, this paper investigates the opportunity of using the architecture of deeply programmable packet-switching nodes (DPPSN) in the implementation of a firewall. Then, an architectural model of the firewall based on a hybrid FPGA/CPU data plane architecture has been proposed and implemented. Realized firewall supports three models of DoS attacks mitigation: DoS traffic filtering on the output interface, DoS traffic filtering on the input interface, and DoS attack redirection to the honeypot. Experimental evaluation of the implemented firewall has shown that DoS traffic filtering at the input interface is the best strategy for DoS attack mitigation, which justified the application of the concept of deep network programmability.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116704926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, power companies are facing an increase in the amount of data and the number of transactions that are being performed. In such circumstances, it is necessary to establish an optimal mechanism for the exchange of data between different systems of the information system, but also with external regulatory bodies. Establishing an interface between each component of an information system is not acceptable as it implies significant changes to the system. Therefore, the paper discusses how to establish an enterprise service architecture in a specific business environment, which involves implementing a standardized model using specific data conversion tools.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133231615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One example of that is the automotive industry. This industry has made an enormous progress, and its main goal is to achieve safer and better driving. The vehicle incorporates GPS devices that send information about the current location and speed of the vehicle. Large amounts of collected data can be used in companies for tracking vehicles and various analysis and statistics. Sometimes, however, GPS data is not accurate. In this paper, the potential of real data sets will be used to analyze possible anomalies that may occur when reading GPS position of vehicles. The approach for solving this problem used in this paper consists of calculating distance and time, based on GPS measurements, then calculating average speed based on these two values, and comparing that speed with the speed given by GPS device.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116063368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Blockchain technology can be used as a distributed ledger where data is stored and all the data transactions between the different entities of a smart grid are signed to protect them from such attacks. This paper proposes a multi-agent system (MAS) that combines smart contracts and blockchain to enable Peer-to-Peer electricity trading in a MicroGrid (MG) scenario, without the need for human intervention. The use of blockchain technology helps reduce transaction costs and allows to make micro transactions in the proposed market. Blockchain also improves the security of the platform because all the involved actors can be certain about the authorship of the information produced in the system. Finally, the use of a MAS and the possibility of negotiating between the agents helps obtain an optimal state in the system in which the costs of energy are minimal and the local production of energy is profitable.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129242592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonlinear sliding surface design, on the other hand, may become very complicated since the stability of the dynamical system on the designed sliding surface should be guaranteed. In this paper, a method is introduced for sliding surface design for a class of nonlinear systems. The proposed method uses the idea of Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) and extends the idea to Model Reference Adaptive Sliding Surface (MRASS) design. For the nonlinear dynamical system, the methodology combines State Dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE) based Sliding Mode Control (SMC) with MRAC design. Within this context, a sliding surface is generated for the given nonlinear plant dynamics from a reference sliding surface by designing an adaptation mechanism. Adaptive sliding surface is then used for the sliding mode controller for the nonlinear plant. The design approach is illustrated via nonlinear dynamic model of a three-degree of freedom (3 DOF) helicopter model such that given elevation and travel commands are tracked. The simulation results are given to illustrate the proposed controller approach.","PeriodicalId":214902,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXVII International Conference on Information, Communication and Automation Technologies (ICAT)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117242850","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
