In data collection, from December/2019 to August/2020, a semi-structured questionnaire composed of 47 items related to the two dimensions of the tool: Self-care and Child Care was used. The Content Validity Index ≥ 0.80 was used to assess agreement among the experts. Qualitative elements were analyzed for clarity and comprehensiveness of content.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>In the first round, 46 items showed Content Validity Index ≥ 0.80. The qualitative elements pointed out more clarity for the adolescent audience. After the changes, the tool presented 30 items. In the second round, the 30 items evaluated achieved Content Validity Index ≥ 0.80. Data were collected in an electronic form validated for this study.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>There was a negative impact on monitoring health and cardiovascular diseases with missed appointments and elective exams. Symptoms such as chest pain and hypertensive crisis were neglected due to fear of contagion, lack of knowledge or structural lack of services, in addition to impaired monitoring of chronic conditions.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The severity of results is noted considering the COVID-19 progression and the risk of complications. It is necessary to organize flows and structures compatible with each care profile, in health services, to guarantee care and promote diagnosis and control of chronic conditions in the set of actions to contain pandemics. A produção dos dados empregou análise documental e entrevista semiestruturada com 33 trabalhadores da saúde da Rede de Atenção à Saúde. Utilizaram-se os recursos do software Atlas.ti 8.0 para análise de dados. Resultados: Os preceitos da análise de Redes Temáticas revelaram as seguintes categorias: “Reordenamento de serviços e funções”; “Incorporação e gestão da aplicação de instrumentos”; “Experiências e táticas profissionais: mudanças de papeis, atitudes e relações”. Método: Estudo qualitativo, do tipo Pesquisa Convergente Assistencial, aliado ao referencial da advocacia em saúde. Realizado na Vigilância Epidemiológica da Secretaria de Saúde de um município na região Sul do Brasil. Resultados: Participaram 11 profissionais de serviços de saúde, entre junho de 2020 a julho de 2021, perfazendo 14 reuniões do grupo. Discutiram-se dois aspectos: (1) problemas envolvendo a gestão do processo de trabalho nos serviços da rede, que influenciam diretamente na assistência ao usuário; e (2) problemas relacionados à gestão da formação do profissional que atende nestes serviços, onde o desconhecimento relativo às legislações traz consequências graves para os usuários. Método: trata-se de uma scoping review seguindo as orientações do Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews. As buscas foram realizadas em bases de dados e portais de teses e dissertações, em setembro de 2021, e foram incluídos artigos, teses e dissertações. Realizou-se uma busca independente, nas lojas online de aplicativos nos sistemas operacionais Android e iOS, em outubro e dezembro de 2021, e selecionados aplicativos com conteúdo de apoio aos pais de recém-nascidos. Resultados: Foram identificados 5238 estudos e 757 aplicativos, e desses, compuseram a amostra 16 e 150, respectivamente. Os temas discutidos nos estudos foram: cuidados, amamentação, febre, identificação de doenças neonatais, crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil. Nos aplicativos, os temas encontrados foram: cuidados, amamentação, crescimento, imunização, desenvolvimento, sono, dicas e orientações. First, contents from the Ministry of Health that should compose the infographic were selected. Then, a script was prepared and a storyboard used to guide the production of the animated infographic. Once finalized, the technology went through the content and appearance validation process with nursing experts in the study area.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Sixty-nine screens of storyboard were done and the infographic lasted five minutes and 52 seconds. Forty-five nurses were selected and, of these, 21 agreed to participate in the study. Data collection was carried out in January 2022. The analyzed variables were organized according to the theoretical levels: macrosystem, exosystem, mesosystem, and microsystem.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A total of 1,173 cases of HIV in pregnant women were recorded. When comparing the pre- and post-pandemic period, a reduction in the disease detection rate (from 231 to 122.67 pregnant women) was observed, as well as 1.82 times more chances of women not using antiretrovirals during childbirth after the start of the pandemic. There was a 55% reduction in vaginal births and 39% in cesarean sections among women diagnosed with HIV after the start of the pandemic.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The COVID-19 pandemic had an epidemiological and care impact, leading to a reduction in the number of notifications and in the detection rate of pregnant women living with HIV in the state of Ceará. {"title":"The Cross-Sectional Study of attitudes towards risk factors of viral infections transmitted by blood-borne pathogens.","authors":"Sunčica Ivanović, Sanja Trgovčević, Milena Cvetković Jovanović, Biljana Kocić, Suzana Milutinović","doi":"10.1590/1980-220X-REEUSP-2022-0097en","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1980-220X-REEUSP-2022-0097en","url":null,"abstract":"<p><strong>Objective: </strong>The objective of this paper was threefold: To assess risk factors of blood-borne pathogen exposure and viral infection for employees at their workplace, to spot the differences between groups of respondents without exposure and those exposed to blood-borne infections, and to identify main risk predictors.</p><p><strong>Method: </strong>The Cross-Sectional Study was conducted, surveying 203 employees, at the Institute for Emergency Medical Services in Serbia, which were eligible to enter the study and surveyed by Previously Developed Questionnaire.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A total of 97.60% of respondents have perceived risk at their workplace, but there were low numbers of HIV, HbcAg, and Anti-HCV testing and poor percent of vaccination for hepatitis B. There were no statistically significant differences between spotted groups of respondents in their attitudes. Data collection was completed by telephone, between June and September 2019. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The average CTM score was 74.1, which was considered satisfactory. The CTM factors: understanding about medications (83.3) and preparation for self-management (77.7) were deemed satisfactory; while: secured preferences (69.4) and care plan (66.1) were unsatisfactory for an effective and safe care transition. No statistically significant difference was found between sociodemographic variables and the CTM.
