We investigate different chamber and nozzle geometry, number of thrusters in arrays, and amount of solid propellants. Synthesis of solid nanoenergetic propellants is researched. We synthesize, test and characterize different nanothermite intermolecular composites. System-level integration, sensing solutions and controlling electronics are studied. Controlling thrusters imply measurements and data acquisition supported by integrated sensors and electronics. The thruster arrays are designed for propulsion, coordination, maneuvering and attitude control of aerial, aerospace, surface and underwater vehicles, including small satellites. The 25-µm-resolution printed thrusters ensure desired capabilities to meet mission-specific requirements with tensile strength up to 55.7 MPa and 2 GPa modulus of elasticity. The ligh-weight thruster arrays do not damaged during propulsion, ensure structural robustness, and, can be reused. The adequate thrust to weight ratio, total impulse, specific impulse, and thrust are ensured by proposed high-energy nanothermite propellants. Experimental measurements of gas generation pressure and velocity for nanoenergetic propellant compositions, as well as thrust are measured and evaluated for the thruster arrays.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124778978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reduce mortality, it is necessary to find a method that allows quickly and with high sensitivity to determine the condition of the animal's bone tissue before competition. At the same time, digital radiography, with its ease of use and high spatial resolution, does not have sufficient sensitivity, and computed x-ray tomography does not have sufficient resolution. Digital tomosynthesis is a new method in veterinary practice that allows obtaining highly informative sequences of images. The investigated capacities elements were connected in parallel to the gate capacities of the input CMOS inverter. Such switching changes the capacities gates of the transistors of the input CMOS inverter, which affects the period and amplitude of the output pulses, which is detected and amplified by the trigger and the output cascade.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125925487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It consists of a data acquisition unit built using a ARM microcontroller, which performs measurement functions and primary filtering and processing of the voltage and current signals, and can either transmit data to computer via virtual serial port and/or store the measurement results to a flash SD memory card for subsequent processing and analysis. The data acquisition unit has built-in real-time clock (RTC), can operate in autonomous mode, without PC connection. It is possible to define software triggers for start/stop recording conditions, including recording in specified periods of time (using RTC). For convenience, 4 discrete inputs were added with universal operating voltage range (24…220 V AC/DC) to allow recording triggering by external signal. The objective was to built a low-cost system, so data acquisition unit has no display; to reduce gain and phase errors of current clamps, a negative impedance converters were used as their loads; furthermore, an additional software filtering is performed to compensate for residual errors. A simple software for PC was also developed to allow simple signal processing and ability to export signal data to MathCad for further analysis.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130453970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Carbohydrate tolerance test (CTT) is known as the effective method of in vivo experiments to achieve a fairly wide range of glucose concentrations over a limited period of time. Measurements were carried out for 16 days in 4 non-diabetic volunteers. The results of the present study indicate that a definite optical response to the increase in blood glucose levels during the CTT, expressed after 40 min after carbohydrates uptake is observed at a wavelengths of 850 and 940 nm. The calibration coefficients were determined with the invasive glucometer and the glucose measurement errors on the Clark grid were analyzed. For the development of an optical sensor suitable for non-invasive measurement of blood glucose, further research with the use of other wavelengths in the near infrared range and technical implementation of the control of external parameters (temperature, pressure, humidity, etc.) are required.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129425327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of studies of microwave low-intensity radiation of biomaterials (levels 10–9 – 10–13 W) are considered in the article in order to evaluate their compatibility with the human body. The criteria of biocompatibility are considered, their brief description is made. A new criterion of the biocompatibility is highlighted - the level of microwave radiation and absorption, which characterizes the properties of dielectric biomaterials. The physics of formation and possible influence on the human body of microwave flows when using implants from the studied materials is considered. The results of the experimental investigations, hardware and research methodology are described. Electromagnetic irradiation of the studied materials is compared with irradiation of some parts of the human body. A technique for checking the compatibility of dielectric biomaterials is proposed and recommendations are made for known biomaterials that may be useful for practicing surgeons. In addition, research findings can be used by developers to create new biomaterials more adapted to the human body, based on known biomaterials or to work-out new dielectric materials for practical medicine.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129784563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The input to this model is the photon-generated current and the output is a voltage signal derived using small-signal analysis with y-parameter representation to accommodate feedback. The proposed methodology used to develop this model will show the ac performance of 4T pixel structure detectors using process-dependent and process-independent parameters. A 0.35 µm SiGe BiCMOS process's parameters were inserted together with reasonable process-independent parameters and simulation results were obtained. Two different configurations were used in this work. Simulation results are presented where the aspect ratio of the MOSFETs, bias voltage and temperature are varied. Using this work, detector designers can select the desired transresistance gain and then calculate the required process-dependent and process-independent parameters. Since many parameters are applicable, it is proposed that a set of parameters of one integrated circuit process be inserted (fixed) and then process-independent parameters can be calculated by the designer.","PeriodicalId":210314,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 40th International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122455663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
