The dielectric constant and piezoelectric coefficient decreased, and dielectric loss remained basically invariable with increasing of the dc voltage(0~2000V). Although the dc voltage ensures the single crystal is not depolarized, a balance need to be found between the applied voltage and the electrical properties of the single crystal.","PeriodicalId":208819,"journal":{"name":"2019 14th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133789685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To optimize the working performance of FBAR, frame-like structure was previously proposed to suppress the resonances of so-called spurious modes. Another aspect that has impact on the working performance of FBAR is the undesired coupling modes, which were rarely studied due to the lack of proper theoretical tools. In this paper, a fast approach for the structural design of frame-like FBARs is proposed with the use of two-dimensional plate theory. The widely used state-vector approach is applied here and both free and forced vibration results are obtained. The structure size of frame-like FBAR is determined through the analysis of frequency spectra and the results are compared with those obtained with 3D FEM software to ensure the accuracy of our proposed method. Mode shapes and admittance response curves show the suppression ability of spurious modes and the undesired coupling modes in the designed frame-like structure. Results in this paper show that the presented method can work as an effective tool in engineering design process.","PeriodicalId":208819,"journal":{"name":"2019 14th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"61 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114038317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The four-variable trigonometric shear deformation theory is applied in the structural modeling. The temperature difference of upper and lower faces of plate is fed back to actuator as control voltage to control the thermal buckling. The correctness of present method is verified by comparing the frequency and critical buckling temperature with published results. The effects of geometric parameters, boundary condition, and fiber angle on the active thermal buckling control are studied. The results show that the temperature distribution strongly influences the critical buckling temperature and the active thermal buckling control method can extremely increase the critical buckling temperature of piezolaminated plates.","PeriodicalId":208819,"journal":{"name":"2019 14th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"1245 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116232171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, fracture of brittle materials is mainly attributed to cracks, while hard inclusions in soft materials should be considered as dangerous factor, accordingly. However, most researches on soft materials are based on the theory of linear elastic fracture. In this paper, soft materials structures with different shapes of hard inclusions are fabricated by 3D printing method and subjected to tensile testing. The applicability of the theoretical model based on linear assumption is investigated via finite element and experimental analyses.","PeriodicalId":208819,"journal":{"name":"2019 14th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132640707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in practical applications, PEAs are also affected by the inherent nonlinear factors such as hysteresis and creep, which further results the positioning accuracy deceasing of the stage. In this paper, a modified Bouc-Wen model is proposed to identify the hysteresis characteristics of PEAs. In order to improve the identification accuracy of the model, the modified Bouc-Wen model parameters are identified by the Genetic Algorithm (GA) which has a good global search capability. The experimental results show that the range of the absolute error (RAE) of the modified Bouc-Wen model is reduced by 5.87% and the average fitness value (AFV) is reduced by 4.87% compared to the standard Bouc-Wen model, which further validate the accuracy of the proposed modified Bouc-Wen model.","PeriodicalId":208819,"journal":{"name":"2019 14th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134388316","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
