The mechanical properties, phase composition and surface morphology of two kinds of carbon fiber board were tested by universal tester, X-ray diffractometer and optical microscope. Afterwards, The tribological performance of two kinds of carbon fiber board was tested on the MRTR friction and wear testing machine under oil lubrication. The results show that the friction coefficient and wear scar width of the carbon fiber board containing superfine copper powder additives are significantly lower than that of the carbon fiber board without copper powder. It indicating that the addition of superfine copper powder can greatly enhance the tribological properties of the carbon fiber board. The reason is the better anti-friction performance and excellent thermal conductivity of superfine copper powder.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115761292","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"A Novel Face-based Approach for the Early Diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease","authors":"Changjiang Hu, Peng Zhang, Wei Huang","doi":"10.1109/ICITBE54178.2021.00061","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICITBE54178.2021.00061","url":null,"abstract":"Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic neurological disorder commonly seen in the elder population, and it severely impacts the lives of patients, their families and caregivers. The early PD diagnosis is essential to alleviate its symptoms and delay its progressions. In recent years, the PD diagnosis based on facial expressions begins to receive increasing research attentions, but contemporary related studies often suffer from the problem of incomplete inclusions of all 6 basic facial expressions and identity’s factors. As a result, inconsistencies and ambiguities often exist among contemporary related studies, and their diagnosis performances are far from satisfaction. In this study, a novel PD diagnosis method based on synthesized identity-aware facial expression images is proposed to solve the above problems. First, the identity’s factor is taken into consideration and all 6 basic facial expression images are synthesized to reflect \"non-PD scenario\" of PD patients, for the first time in the PD diagnosis field. Then, latent features are learned and automatically extracted from real / synthesized images of both PD and non-PD patients. Finally, a new triplet loss-based metric learning network is constructed to differentiate PD and non-PD patients. For experimental evaluations, a new facial expression image dataset composed of 95 PD patients is constructed in this study. The new dataset has been associated with three other public facial expression image datasets with non-PD patients. A number of popular or state-of-the-art methods in related studies have been compared with the new approach based on these datasets. The experimental results demonstrated the superiority of our method.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122594038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Combined with the opinion evolution model, an index system for testing the randomness of individual opinions is constructed. The index system mainly includes multiple test methods, such as frequency test, runs test and sequence test, and aggregates multiple test results by weighted summation. Comprehensively judge the random characteristics of individual opinion from multiple perspectives and infer individual characteristics. The rationality and effectiveness of the constructed index system are verified with the experiments, which is helpful to better understand the evolutionary process of opinions under the domination of individual interaction.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122615848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore this paper presents a new wind power prediction forecasting model which is the combination of variational mode decomposition(VMD) and long-short term memory(LSTM). By using combined model, the accuracy of prediction can be greatly improved. VMD can effectively overcome the instability of wind power data. LSTM can effectively retain more information, thereby greatly reducing the probability of the prediction result falling into a local option state. To a certain extent, the situation of gradient explosion and disappearance is alleviated. Ultimately greatly enhance the prediction accuracy of the results.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117326794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hemodynamic properties of shunt flow can he measured quantitatively through Doppler echocardiography. The velocity-time integral (VTI) of shunt flow is one of the important hemodynamic properties and is commonly used for the evaluation of cardiac function and treatment. On the other hand, heart sounds are used to predict cardiac diseases by mapping them to the time-frequency domain. This study aims to analyze correlations between different frequency hands of heart sounds and hemodynamic properties of shunt flow and predict VTI values using time-frequency features of heart sounds. The results showed that different frequency hands of heart sounds contributed significantly to the correlation and the support vector regression model has a certain potential in the prediction of VTI.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128299824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database offers not only RNA sequence data on UVM but also the clinical characteristics of patients. The weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) was conducted for the construction of the co-expression modules, based on how modules correlate with clinic characteristics were explored. The co-expression modules comprised of 6023 mRNA, 632 miRNA and 3042 LncRNA in 80 samples were identified, which closely associated with several clinical characteristics. A negative correlation with blue and brown modules in mRNA was revealed by overall survival (OS) time, disease free survival (DSS) time and progression free interval (PFI) time, while yellow, green and grey modules demonstrated a positive correlation. Modules turquoise in miRNA and module blue in LncRNA were most involved in survival time. The hub gene in mRNA-miRNA-LncRNA, PLCD1, LZTFL1, LCP2, GEM, NUSAP1, miR-937 and ENSG00000249846, is essential for the development of UVM. By providing a framework of co-expression gene modules for UVM, this paper found out about several diagnostic markers that could assist in the identification of recurring UVM and the treatment of it.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124016504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among all kinds of image fusion algorithms, Transformer has been proposed recently for image fusion with great potential, but it also limited localization abilities due to insufficient low-level details. To address this issue, we proposed a new fusion framework called DenseNet Dual-Transformer(DT) for infrared and visible image fusion. It extracts rich feature information through the encoder of DenseNet, On the other hand, utilized DT to pay attention to different aspects of information, and integrate all aspects of information. We argue that DT as a fusion strategy, local and remote information can be capture. A large number of experiments have proved that the performance of the fusion algorithm proposed in the paper is better than many existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121385092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Extracting effective feature of the target template and search regions is a very important problem in visual tracking. Generally, existing trackers use Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to extract features, which make full use of the depth feature while the spatial structure information is ignored. The spatial structure information is very helpful to represent appearance characteristics of targets and templates. In this paper, we propose a novel tracking algorithm based on Siamese network. Specifically, it consists of Siamese subnetwork for feature extraction and cross correlation. Subnetwork improves feature learning capability of extracting shallow spatial information and deep semantic information, and accelerates the model training. Extensive experiments conducted on three benchmarks including OTB2015 and VOT2016 show that the proposed DOSiam tracker has superior performances and real-time response against state-of-the-art trackers while runs at more than 60 FPS.","PeriodicalId":207276,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICITBE)","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126264921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
