O objetivo deste trabalho foi executar a montagem e validação de um permeâmetro de parede flexível, desenvolvido ABSTRACT: Flexible wall permeameters are equipment used in tests to determine the hydraulic conductivity of low permeability materials, as the case of GCLs (Geosynthetic Clay Liners), used as hydraulic barriers for soil impermeabilization. The objective of this work was to assemble and validate a flexible wall permeameter, developed to perform permeability tests on GCL samples. The construction of the equipment and the execution of the experiments followed the specifications of the standard ASTM D5887:2016. After assembling the permeameter and checking its tightness, hydraulic conductivity tests were carried out on GCL samples percolated with water to validate the equipment. The tests are configured by a specimen arranged between two porous discs, encapsulated by a flexible membrane and sealed by base and top devices, which are connected to pressurized lines of influent and effluent flow. The sample is tested in a pressurized chamber. The validation process was carried out through the comparison between the results measured in the permeability tests and that presented in the literature and indicated by the manufacturer of the GCL. The results of hydraulic conductivity of the GCL samples reached the reference values, so that the permemeter is able to continue in operation. Pela primeira vez, o novo código numérico estado-da-arte UnBlocks baseado no Método RMCR e desenvolvido para a simulação de rochas e de maciços rochosos fraturados pela técnica do maciço rochoso sintético será apresentado e suas principais características discutidas. Com o objetivo de demonstrar a potencial aplicação do novo programa com o Método RMCR aprimorado pelas contribuições nas áreas de engenharia e mecânica das rochas, os resultados de uma análise de estabilidade probabilística de um trecho intensamente fraturado de um túnel brasileiro conhecido como Túnel Monte Seco e os resultados de simulações de ruptura de um granito canadense em ensaios laboratoriais convencionais são apresentados. ABSTRACT: In this work, recent contributions to the Rigid Body Spring Network Method (RBSN) are presented, which allow the use of the method in 3D probabilistic stability analyses of rock tunnel excavations and in simulations of rupture processes of quasi-brittle rocks as observed in conventional laboratory tests. For the first time, the new state-of-the-art numerical code UnBlocks based on the RBSN Method and developed for the simulation of rocks and rock masses by means of the synthetic rock mass technique will be presented and its main characteristics discussed. As cartas de suscetibilidade correlacionam características gêneses dos solos com suas propriedades geotécnicas, de modo a produzir informações a respeito da suscetibilidade a erosão e a dispersão. No que tange à ocorrência dos tipos de solos, o Estado do Ceará possui três tipos preponderantes, sendo o de maior ocorrência os solos do tipo Argissolos ABSTRACT: This work aims to develop letters of susceptibility to erosion and soil dispersion in the State of Ceará, based on pedological information provided by EMBRAPA (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation) - National Service for Survey and Soil Conservation (SNLCS). The susceptibility charts correlate characteristics of the soil genesis with their geotechnical properties, in order to produce information regarding the susceptibility to erosion and dispersion. With regard to the occurrence of soil types, the State of Ceará has three predominant types, the most prevalent being Argisols soils with about 46,285 km² or 31.18% of the State's area, Neossols with 41,027 km² or 27.64% and Luvisols with 18.44% of the total area of the State or 27.369 km². In relation to erosion, 71.63% (104,176 km²) of soils in the state of Ceará were classified as highly susceptible and 28,37% (41,251 km²) as low susceptibility, with no percentage of average susceptibility being verified. Com o objetivo de avaliar o modelo de transferência de carga da estaca para o solo, e camada de rocha, por meio de um modelo numérico axissimétrico pelo método dos elementos finitos (MEF-2D), em termos de tensão e deformação, visando obter os deslocamentos no topo da estaca e no topo do embutimento em rocha, bem como comparar os resultados, por meio de métodos teóricos semiempíricos de previsão de recalque dos pesquisadores, Rowe, Ronald Karry; Armitage (1987), Carter, John P.; Kulhawy (1988), Pells (1999). As análises numéricas foram realizadas por meio do software RS2 da Rocsience . Os deslocamentos no topo da estaca ABSTRACT: This article analyzes the behavior of a concrete stake partially embedded in rock with 15m in length, 12.7m in soil with a diameter of 1.2m, and embedded 2.3m in rock, with a diameter of 1.1m, submitted axial compression loading. With the objective of evaluating the load transfer model from the pile to the soil, and the rock layer, using a numerical axisymmetric model using the finite element method (MEF-2D), in terms of stress and deformation, aiming to obtain the displacements at the top of the pile and at the top of the rock inlay, as well as comparing the results, using semi-empirical theoretical methods of predicting the settlement of researchers, Rowe, Ronald Karry; Armitage (1987), Carter, John P .; Kulhawy (1988), Pells (1999). Numerical analyzes were performed using Rocsience's RS2 software. The purpose of this work was to perform on site models of piles of 0.40 m in diameter and 1.3 m in length for the application of a load test system created at Unochapecó Campus and to compare the pullout results of the elements with the Soul Cone method. The elements were fully reinforced and concreted with 25 MPa trace mortar, being divided into two groups: the first with only mortar and the second with 1% expander additive mortar, to evaluate improvements in lateral friction. Regarding the tensile load capacity, it was found an approximation of 92,5% of the load tests with the theoretical method, represented by 1,74 tf in the tested pile and 1,90 tf in the Soul Cone method. A Laponita RD apresenta características passíveis de similitude quando comparada com solos moles naturais, baixa capacidade de carga, alta compressibilidade e baixa permeabilidade. Buscando a melhor compreensão desse material com uso de um aditivo como solo transparente , o presente trabalho avaliou a resistência não drenada destes materiais, considerando sua resposta com a variação de concentração dos materiais e do tempo. Foram analisados quatro teores de laponita Rd e aditivo e dois tempos de adensamento por peso próprio. A resistência não drenada foi avaliada por ensaios de palheta, pois devido a consistência do material esta metodologia é que se mostra mais adequada. O ensaio foi conduzido conforme a ASTM D4648 / ASTM D4648M-16 (2016). Resultados iniciais indicam um aumento da resistência não drenada com o aumento do teor de Laponita RD, bem como com o ABSTRACT: The use of transparent soil is an alternative technique for better understanding of physical phenomena which take place inside the soil mass. Laponite RD presents features when comparing it to natural soft soils, i.e. low bearing capacity, high compressibility and low permeability. In order to better comprehend the behavior of this material mixed with an additive, the present study aimed at the evaluation of undrained shear strength as a function of additive/Laponite RD proportions and consolidation time. Four Laponite RD concentrations and two-time intervals of self-weight consolidation were employed. The undrained shear strength was assessed by means of vane test which is suitable due to the material composition. The experiments were carried out following ASTM D4648/ ASTM D4648M -16 (2016). Initial results indicated that an increase of undrained shear strength occurred in response to the increase of the Laponite RD levels in transparent soil composition. This behavior was also observed in response to self-weight consolidating time. Previous tests with the cell phone were performed using an App called Accelerometer Analyzer, where the measurements were compared with the results obtained in the measurement made with a geophone. The deposit is described in terms of its geological origin, index properties, stress history, compressibility, consolidation and strength properties, and soil mineralogy.
