The maternal factor has a significant impact on a child's growth and development. The study was aimed to assess and compare the growth and development of children of employed and unemployed mothers and find out the association of growth and development of children with selected demographic variables. Methods: A non-experimental quantitative research approach and descriptive comparative design was used for the study. The study was conducted at STNM Hospital Sochaygang Gangtok Sikkim with a total of 152 samples were taken from which 76 were children of employed mothers while 76 were children of unemployed mothers using a nonprobability purposive sampling technique. Cancer, Oncology, Pediatric Cancer, Pediatric cancer pain were the keywords employed. Studies published in English between 2010 and 2023 were the basis for the online search.The task of controlling discomfort in children with cancer can be challenging. These individuals frequently have considerable pain, which is frequently neither treated nor evaluated correctly. Studies have shown that the urge among healthcare personnel and even patient carers to believe unfounded worries and beliefs is the cause of this gap. Due to this, despite the fact that there are both pharmacological and non-pharmacological ways to treat pain, many paediatric oncology patients endure needless suffering. The WHO analgesic ladder should be used, opioid doses should be appropriately increased, adjuvant analgesics should be used, and non-pharmacological pain relief techniques should also be used, according to the principles of pain management. All children with cancer should follow these guidelines for pain management, with the understanding that some children may have few options for treatment.","PeriodicalId":205602,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Paediatric Nursing","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135856908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The term grew out of a behavioural model which process the teacher can see and describe behavioural disorder, but cannot easily describe disturbed emotions. In common usage today behavioral problems is usually attributed to less severally disturbed student whereas emotionally disturbed is reserved for the most seriously impaired. An evaluative study was conducted among 45 Primary school teachers of selected schools, Hubballi. The research design used for the present study was pre-experimental: one group pre-test, post-test design. Non-Probability, purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. The data was collected by using structured knowledge questionnaire. Data analysis was done by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Overall result of the study revealed that, in the pre-test, Majority of them in the pre-test 25(55.56%) had average knowledge, 11(24.44%) had good knowledge and 9(20%) had poor knowledge. Where as in Post-test 44(97.78%) had good knowledge and 1(2.22%) had average knowledge and none of them had poor knowledge scores regarding Behavioural problem of school children. There was a significant gain in knowledge of school teachers who were exposed to the educational intervention program i.e. 25.27%. The paired ‘t’ value (t cal =17.21*) at p <0.05 level of significance for knowledge proved that the stated hypothesis i.e. the mean post-test knowledge scores of school teachers in Selected schools who were exposed to the educational intervention program will be significantly higher than the pre-test knowledge scores at 0.05 level of significance. The study concluded that Educational Intervention Program was more effective for Primary school teachers to increase and update their knowledge regarding Behavioural problems of school children.","PeriodicalId":205602,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Paediatric Nursing","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125377239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prevalence the prevalence of Anaemia is high in developing countries than the developed countries due to poverty, inadequate diet, high incidence of communicable diseases, Pregnancy /lactation and low immunity. India has the highest prevalence of Anaemia among women, including adolescent, worldwide. Between 60 to 70% of Indian adolescent girls are anemic (Hemoglobin (Hb) <12g/dl). Therefore, to address this strategic gap, the researcher would like to conduct a participatory nutrition education and intervention on Iron rich diet study to improve the dietary behavior status, and reduce the prevalence of anemia among unmarried adolescent girls 1 .The main objective of the study was to assess the haemoglobin level among adolescent girls before nutrition education on Iron rich food. To assess the dietary practices among the adolescent tea garden Girls in selected Tea Garden of Nagaon District, Assam and to find out the effectiveness of Nutrition education on changing dietary practices among the adolescent girls of Tea Garden, Nagaon District Assam The research approach is Descriptive Evaluative approach and Research design adopted was pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The total sample for the study is 800. Hence the for the Present pilot study the Researches has collected the Data from 10% of the total Population i.e. 80 numbers of Adolescent girls of Lungsung and Chapanala Tea Garden area of Nagaon District. The study results shows that food consumption habit mean score in Baseline assessment is higher than the Endline assessment Paired ‘t’ value is 31.54 which was significant at p< 0.05 level. There is significant association between the pretest level of Hb with the selected Demographic Variable such as age, religion, working status, water sanitation, consumption of Iron Tablets and Consumption of Albendazole tablet.
