It supports to create the job opportunities, thereby contributes to reducing the poverty rate. However, little empirical research has been done to know the benefits of commercial production and households’ behavior towards its adoption. Thus, this study seeks to assess the production economics and determinant factors of farmers for the adoption of commercial vegetable production in Kathmandu district, Nepal. In total 199 households were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The primary data were collected from January to February 2022. The descriptive statistics, benefit-cost ratio, and binary logistic regression were applied for data analysis using SPSS. The results reveal that the gross margin and benefit-cost ratio of commercial vegetable farming were found to be NRs. 533,130/ha and 3.23 respectively, which were higher than the subsistence vegetable farming (gross margin NRs. 419, 031/ha and benefit to cost ratio 2.49). Further, the findings of binary logistic regression show that age, education of household head, experience, type of family, membership, and access to credit were significantly important determinants of commercial vegetable production. Therefore, any agricultural development programs such as financial services, business training, and encourage farmers to join into cooperatives could be instrumental for commercial vegetable farming. \u0000Int. Identifying the main causes of the stress may vary different sources and especially for those who are working in a critical area of the hospital.\u0000Aim: The main focus of the study is to interpret the effects of stress and strategic methods for reducing the stress among Nurses, working in the Intensive care unit of PIMS hospital.\u0000Methodology: Cross-sectional study was conducted among ICU nurses of the PIMS hospital Islamabad. Our sample size was 150 nurses in critical areas, using a very simple method of obtaining the data.\u0000Result: Overall findings of the result are showing that ICU nurses have insufficient knowledge about operating the main machinery creating more stress, conflicts with co- workers and doctors, prolonged shifts, and lack of support from seniors. These are the main reasons for the stress. The data was collected by the distribution of an official format questionnaire among the ICU nurses and their data was kept confidential.\u0000Conclusion: The main motive of the study is to evaluate the knowledge of stress coping skills among ICU nurses and managerial skills and techniques which can reduce stress levels. Cognitive therapies and different training programs should be arranged by the ICU management and spare some time for recreational activities, maintain a balanced diet and keep busy with patient care and avoid unnecessary activities. Seniors and doctors should encourage their juniors and create a pleasant, positive atmosphere. All these activities can promote the health status of the patient.\u0000Int. J. Soc. Sc. Manage. The sample used in this study were fishermen in Boneoge Village, Banawa District, Donggala Regency, and set as many as 50 people by snowball sampling. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses a simple regression analysis method. The results showed that the adjusted R2 value was 0.757, this means that 76% of the variation in the increase in the economic activity of fishermen's households can be explained by variations in the independent variable, namely fishermen's income. While the remaining 29% is explained by other factors outside the model. The conclusion of this research is. from the regression coefficient value of fishermen's income and the level of significance, that fisherman's income has a positive and significant effect on increasing the economic activities of fishing communities in Boneoge Village, Banawa District, Donggala Regency. This is because the fishermen's income is quite high from fishing so that it encourages per capita growth of the community which supports an increase in the economy of Boneoge Village, Banawa District, Donggala Regency.\u0000Int. This study aims to analyze efforts to increase the professionalism of nurses during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of qualitative research with a case study approach. The study was conducted for 3 months in a hospital in Central Sulawesi Province. The number of informants consisted of: 11 implementing nurses, 3 team leaders and 3 committee heads (1 informant as team leader, also as chairman of the 2000 committee), 1 Covid team coordinator, 1 Head of Section 2000, 2 Heads of 2000 and 1 Director of the hospital and 1 secretary of PPNI Central Sulawesi Province. The analytical method refers to the theory of Miles, Huberman and Saldana (2014), namely the Interactive Analysis Model, using the Nvivo 12 Plus application technique for windows. The results of the research have 3 main themes: theme 1: Recruitment of covid nurses, theme 2: clinical authority of nurses, theme 3: delegation of authority. B The conclusion of this research is the discovery of 3 main themes, namely covid nurses, clinical nurse authority and authorized delegation. The recruitment of nurses through a credentialing process, clinical obligations and authorized delegation procedures is an effort to improve the professionalism of nurses. This study aimed to explore the quality of life among elderly people living in old age homes in Bangladesh. Further, it focuses to find out the causes of living in old age homes. A sample of 60 elderly people (40 from free type of old age home and 20 from paid type of old age home) were included for the study in purposive manner. Survey and observation method were conducted among elderly living in old age homes of Old Rehabilitation Centre, Gazipur, Amena-Bashar Old Rehabilitation Center, Chattogram and Probin Nibash, Dhaka. The study examined the facilities offered at old age homes. The study found that negligence of the family members is the most important reason for shifting to the old age homes of elderly people. The study also found that the facilities like medical care, recreational facilities, spiritual facilities, safety, facilities for physical exercise and funeral arrangements were significantly better among elderly living in old age homes, while the facilities like food, accommodation and service of caregivers/staffs were average in the level of satisfaction among elderly living in old age homes. It is important to note that the elderly people have the scope to contribute for the welfare of the society in paid type of old age homes. This paper recommends that institutional facilities and participation in different social activities should be increased to improve the quality of life for the elderly people living in old age homes.\u0000Int. The test was placed on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five treatments and four responses. The treatments were included Trichoderma harzianium (107 cfu ml-1) as a bio control agent, Bavistin (2g/litre of water) as chemical treatments and Neem extract as botanical treatments. The germination percentage, pre, and post-emergence damping-off, plant height, root weight and shoot weight, dry root and dry shoot weight of tomato seedlings were recorded. There was a significant increment in germination percentage (86.25%), reduction in pre and post disease incidence (23% and 5.16%), highest plant height (41.20 cm), highest fresh root weight, and fresh shoot weight (0.9725g and 12.300g), highest dry root and dry shoot weight (0.1975g and 1.393g) respectively were found when the Bavistin treatment was given however Trichoderma harzianum (107 cfu ml-1) treatment was also found significantly effective for controlling damping-off of tomato as compared to control which is non-hazardous to environment and the human being so, is suggested to use for organic agriculture.\u0000Int.
