Non-school issues involve poverty, low instructive fulfillment and lack of education of guardians and weakness and nutrition (Farooq, Chaudhry, Shafiq, & Berhanu, 2011). \u0000Objective: To determine the factors that affects the academic performance of students of Lahore school of Nursing, The University of Lahore, Pakistan. \u0000Methodology: A descriptive Cross-sectional Study Students of Lahore School of Nursing, the University of Lahore. Convenient sampling Technique was use for data collection. Participants who are enrolled in BSN (Generic and Post RN), Age was 18 years to 45years, Both Male and Female, married and unmarried students was including. except BSN (Post-RN) and BSN (Generic) was exclude for data collection \u0000Result: Gender of the participant has negative association with Education of participant as sig value is .000 and -.397. Gender of the participant has association with Marital status and has weak correlation as sig is .159 and r value is .123. Decentralization promotes equity, people’s participation and effective service delivery at the local level through transfer of responsibilities and competencies, capacities and resource allocation power to a lower level of government. This also implies in the agricultural sector. In this context, a research was designed to study the attitudes of extension workers and farmers on decentralized agriculture service system in 3 Municipalites and 3 Village Development Committees (VDCs) of Lamjung district. Using by stratified proportionate sampling method, we selected 60 respondents, out of which 41.67 percent were the farmers and 58.33% were the extension workers. Five point Likert scales were developed to measure perception regarding four major components of decentralization. Qualitative as well as quantitative data were analyzed. Focus Group Discussion was also conducted to identify the problems. The result showed that, regarding the planning component, fiscal component and implementation component majority of respondent perceive positive response, while the perception of structural component was found varied response. Further findings indicated that there was lack of clear ideas on well-functioning of process among extension workers and farmers. Moreover, result showed that implementation related was the 1st ranked problem followed by financial related and structural related. Structural change to address increasing farmers' demand was one of the key interventions suggested by the respondents for the effectiveness of decentralized agriculture service provisionInt. J. Soc. The main goal of TVET is to develop skillful human resource needed for the country which could generate employment opportunities and entrepreneurship. Similarly, industry is the place for the job market and performing the skills that is achieved. In the context of Nepal, different studies show that the TVET graduates are unemployed, employed but in low wage, employed but not fulfilling the industry need. This is because of lack of meeting the demand of the market need by TVET courses. If the linkage is done, it increases productivity and nations economy. But the most challenging part is meeting the industry goals and skills by academic courses of TVET. So, academic skills and industry skills needs to be matched by revisiting the curriculum and other strategies. Also the industrial human resource could be upgraded by providing occupational skills upgrading training. The labor market, need assessment of the human resource, identification of the industrial skills needs to be identified to make a strong linkage. Thus, this study suggests that the urgent need of the collaboration of the industry and the TVET for the overall and sustainable development of the country.Int. J. Soc. Sc. Manage. Poverty as a concept almost uniquely applied to humans. It refers to a condition that causes its victims through lack of economic resources to live lives in which they cannot fully participate in the range of activities expressive of their nature as human beings Moral is a socialized reasoning that develops as a result of the norms of a society and influenced by the culture of that society.(Dana and Galbraith 2016). Objective: The main purpose of the study is to assess the relationship of poverty and the moral development of community people. Methodology: A co relational study design was use. A small sample of n=100 was selected Convenient sampling technique was used for the collection of data. Self-prepared 5 point Likert scale questionnaire adapted from thesis of Solomon Fakinlede (2008).The questionnaire tools was used to get some basic information which includes participant age, marital relationship, and family structure, no of children. After the collection of data, it was enter to Statistical Package for Social Sciences 21 (SPSS). Result: The Results found reveals that the coefficient of correlation rs value of the spears man correlation test is 0.939, which suggest that there is a positive, strong, linear correlation between the poverty and moral development. Conclusion: In conclusion, it stated that this research study found the relationship between the poverty and moral development in a society. Improper waste disposal causes breeding and may cause infectious diseases like cholera, small pox, and plague, etc. The knowledge of waste disposal is necessary for health of people’s. various study reveal that about 90% of people disposal of waste in open places and use the method of land filling, so increase the problems for health of public and the environment. The study has been carried out for the current status of waste disposal. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was carried out in rural area and 100 household peoples were the population. The Data collected by pre- tested questionnaire and direct interviewing the people about their routine waste disposal. Results: Majority of respondents (72.0%) was aware about adverse effects of improper waste removal and (28.0%) Respondent was not aware.95.0% of people have good attitude about waste disposal. Regarding practices most of respondent (52.0%) had the poor practices towards waste disposal and 41.0% had satisfactory practices. Conclusion: The knowledge regarding waste disposal in the most of respondents was found good and in Minimum of respondents having satisfactory knowledge. Nursing is a profession that demands a regular, high level of critical thought coupled with critical actions. To assess barriers and facilitators in execution of nursing process among nurses from surgical and medical department. A quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study design was used to explore barriers and facilitators for execution of nursing process among nurses from medical and surgical wards at public hospital Lahore. The instrument use for the data collection was adopted questioner and convenient sampling technique was used. There was weak correlation between age of participant and qualification of participant (r=.254 Sig=0.005), age of participant has moderate correlation with years in service as result shown r value is .695 and sig is .000, age of participant has no association with Barriers related to as sig value is .730 and r value is .031, age of participant have no association with Barriers related to administration and Barriers related to nursing process. Majority of the participants were moderately knowledgeable about nursing process and they were willing to apply the nursing process in caring for patients, But they were not utilizing it in designing the care of their patients because of the barriers they faced in effort to use the nursing process. There was moderate correlation between age of participant and years in service, but age of the participant have no association with Barriers related to resources, Barriers related to administration and Barriers related to nursing process. Type 2 Diabetes will keep on accounting for 90% of all the cases. According to the WHO, Pakistan positioned seventh in pervasiveness of Diabetes. In 2011, the assessed pervasiveness of diabetes in Pakistan was generally in excess of 350 million and it is depended upon to be in excess of 550 million by year 2030. In Pakistan 9.5% of urban and 9.4% of the provincial population experience the bad effects of type 2 diabetes. Objective: The reason for this investigation was to survey learning, conduct in regards to blood glucose observing among diabetic in rural group, Lahore. Descriptive cross sectional investigation configuration was led to evaluate learning, disposition and routine with regards to blood glucose monitoring and a sample size of 100 participants was selected for this study through convenient sampling. Data was collected from the adult males and females of Husain Abad community. Result: The result show that there was low level of knowledge, somewhat positive attitudes but very low level of practices regarding the diabetic control and glucose monitoring among the participants. Conclusion: In conclusion, it is stated that this research study the knowledge of participants towards the diabetes was not good except the definition of diabetes. The attitude was comparatively positive and good for following different blood sugar controlling measures. The practices were very poor. In nursing work nurse’s work not only have tons of things to get done. Nurses scores in time management were more than those of men, with statistically significant difference: (p<0.05). There was a positive significant relationship between individual skills and organizational skills in time management (p<0.05). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting time management of professional nurses. Methodology: A descriptive cross sectional analytic study was conducted at government hospital of Lahore. Data was collected from 211 registered nurses using convenient sampling. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 21. Results: There is statistically significant differences, in the significance level 0.05, of effective time management for nurses according to gender. Professional nurses spend much time in gossiping of both gender as (p <0.05), time allocated for socialization were more among female nurses Shortage of staff contributes poor time management towards patient care, working under pressure is significantly associated with poor patient care (p <0.05). Nurses spend much time using mobile phone is statistically significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: Time management is very crucial to the nurses and helps them to plan for their available time and use it to manage their tasks. This research identified and evaluated time management in professional nurses. Based on the results, it was found that shortage of staff contributes poor time management towards patient care, working under pressure affect patient care negatively, proper supervision will improve time management. It is also conclude that time management is necessary for medical workers, especially nurses. Thus, it would be interesting to conduct comparative cultural studies to better evaluate time management.Int. J. Soc. Sc. Manage.
