At first, particle system is utilized to construct three-dimensional geometrical model of vortex rings umbrella according to the feature of non-linear ductile deformation of vortex rings umbrella motion, then establish kinetic model of particle node at the stage of steady state rotary motion, finally build simulation model, the calculation shows that motion variation laws of its result and experiment result are basically same, the model is deemed effective and correct. This simulation research can help rapid realization of engineering design of vortex rings umbrella and provide a new thought for the research of motion performance of vortex rings umbrella.","PeriodicalId":203169,"journal":{"name":"IEEE Conference Anthology","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115989102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

User centered design (UCD) is a growing research field for product innovation, starting from the end of 20th century. An NPD process needs support from both design knowledge and research methodologies. Both TID and UCD focus on user's perspective when doing multi-disciplinary work together. They provide skills and methods for designing the style and usability, and balancing the users need and reality. The skills from TID help design expression and realization to communicate efficiently with other participants by informative images and real prototypes. The skills from UCD help the idea generation and opportunity discoveries by facilitating workshops and conducting interview with participants. TID and UCD represent different perspectives of the subjective and the objective respectively. Their methodologies are essential for a designer to successfully come to a fruitful design solution, and at the same time the project improves the methodologies of TID and UCD through a reflection process.","PeriodicalId":203169,"journal":{"name":"IEEE Conference Anthology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116029945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this paper puts forward an adaptive mobile cartography visualization method based on information of terminal devices. This method starts from presenting the terminal position of the location service, and generates a terminal-position-oriented data query box of screen. Then map server according to the performance information of the terminal device automatically determines appropriate way of mobile terminal visualization, and visualizes the received map data.","PeriodicalId":203169,"journal":{"name":"IEEE Conference Anthology","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116392132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When there is an emergency water pollution event, it is important to make an effective emergency decision according to the information of real-time event and the appropriate response can mitigate the environment pollution and costs. Because decisions may need to be taken very quickly and with limited information, the need for decision-making skills increases dramatically in emergencies. This paper primarily based on the fuzzy set theory and used the method to make a decision in complex situation of sudden water pollution accidents. The fuzzy set theory is used to represent the evaluation ratings of candidate items because of the information available can't be numerical. The approach can be used to help the decision maker choose the best emergency decisions. An example of choosing an effective emergency plan of water pollution accident is used to illustrate the method.","PeriodicalId":203169,"journal":{"name":"IEEE Conference Anthology","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122645912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a novel model that describes hierarchical structure of program runtime behavior. The model is composed of elements with granularities from activity, object to action. In addition to efficacy of model's algorithms, the choice of factors, data processing and model parameter settings may affect the accuracy of the simulation as well. However, less attention has been paid to how spatial data processing (such as classification) impact simulation results. In this paper, four schemes are designed to detect how the spatial data processing and factors impact on the simulation results by integrated GIS spatial analysis and SPSS statistical analysis tools. It revealed that reclassification based on scientific and the traffic driving factors choosing reasonably can improve the simulation results. Land-use change was simulated from 2000 to 2006 by using the optimized scheme. The detection results from the approaches of map overlay and Kappa index show that the correct rate of simulation reached to 99,26%, and the Kappa index was 99.11%. The optimized scheme was used to simulate land use change in the future based on different scenarios, and the environmental effects of land use development patterns was detected.","PeriodicalId":203169,"journal":{"name":"IEEE Conference Anthology","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129621227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
