The algorithm is based on the introduced graph probabilistic model taking into account the network topology, equipment state conditions, responsibility of consumers and short-circuits probability. The IEEE 14 test scheme was used as input data for a primary network while the information about secondary circuit's security was obtained from previous authors papers. The results show that the algorithm could calculate the risk of relay protection outage. To predict possible influence of relay system reconstruction it is required to change the probability indices, thus, the decrement of the system risk will be an indicator of system improvement. By comparing the risk decrement in different investment strategies it is possible to define which one is the best. Booster heat pumps represent a significant share among them. A duty cycle of a booster heat pump depends on a specific load profile. The research is devoted to the problems of calculation and interpolation of the efficiency of the synchronous reluctance electric drive in booster heat pump. In order to estimate the pump unit performance, a semi-analytical model on the basis of experimental data on the selected operating modes is used. Since the permanent magnets as well as the excitation winding are mounted on the stator, cooling can be performed easily. Also, the usage of slip rings can be avoided. A simple rotor structure employs the possibility to operate the machine in a high speed range. This paper presents two types of flux switching machines with hybrid excitation. Their benefits and drawbacks are discussed. Here we consider the case of a start with a constant rotational speed of the stator magnetic field. For high-inertia drives, the starting process is very long and can be accompanied by a significant motor overheating. It consists of a batteryless energy harvesting powered wireless sensor nodes, a gateway (if needed) and a local or remote server (if used). An invasive energy harvesting method to use the voltage between the neutral conductor and the ground conductor is used for the sensor module. A test network is built in a household. Statistics of the household's electric current and the corresponding neutral conductor's voltage is obtained during a two months period. The statistics is further processed to verify the working principle of the proposed network and to enlighten its strengths and weaknesses. Opportunities of the induction motor stator winding heating reduction by means of the control of the vehicles electric drives in transient and steady state modes of movement are shown. Analytical expressions for dynamic torque, optimal on minimal of the winding temperature rise during acceleration, as well as expressions for dynamic torque and value of the motor torque limitation, optimal on energy consumption during acceleration are presented. It is shown that desire to reduce the stator winding temperature rise by means of dynamic torque optimal value selection or motor torque limitation can lead to the rise of energy consumption. Moreover, classification of scalar control system by the type of speed regulator is given, and approaches to the regulators' structure design are described. In addition, several types of optimal and quasi-optimal scalar control systems are reviewed. In this paper statistical analysis of the actual and planned solar power plants' archive data of the real power system is presented. On the basis of the investigated solar generation data some features were identified allowing determination of the magnitude and nature of solar power plants deviation from the plan depending on season and period of the day. Based on the research presented in this paper, an augmented approach was developed to determine expected generation capacity deviations in power system with a high penetration of solar power plants. It is based upon the spectral analysis of harmonic current and conductancies along the air gap which is applicable to any electric machine with a magnetic non-symmetry of a rotor and combines the method of winding functions and the energy method of obtaining the electric drive's coordinates (MDS, induction, EMF, electromagnetic torque). In addition, it also allows one to search for the optimal shape of current according to the principle of the electric machine operation. Under this algorithm it is recommended to perform optimization calculations under the following assumptions: the converter is not saturated, steel magnetic conductivity is equal to infinity, and there are no scattering fluxes.
