A simple rotor structure employs the possibility to operate the machine in a high speed range. This paper presents two types of flux switching machines with hybrid excitation. Their benefits and drawbacks are discussed. Abstract
Flux switching machines with hybrid excitation offer several interesting features compared to conventional permanent magnet machines.
