Abstract
Turbomachines are important equipment in many industrial and residential sectors. Booster heat pumps represent a significant share among them. A duty cycle of a booster heat pump depends on a specific load profile. The research is devoted to the problems of calculation and interpolation of the efficiency of the synchronous reluctance electric drive in booster heat pump. In order to estimate the pump unit performance, a semi-analytical model on the basis of experimental data on the selected operating modes is used. The various approaches of interpolation error estimation based on the data of synchronous reluctance motor drive efficiency are described and estimated.
