Health workers on the front lines during the pandemic are exposed to high chronic stress due to the high risk of infection and long working hours. These stress factors hurt sleep quality and mental health and ultimately lead to burnout in nurses. This study aimed to determine the relationship between sleep quality and nurse burnout during the COVID-19 pandemic in East Java. The research design used is correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 180 respondents who were taken by consecutive sampling technique according to the researcher's criteria for 2 weeks. Collecting data using the MBI-HSS questionnaire to measure burnout and PSQI to measure sleep quality via a google form link. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS for Windows version 25 using the chi-square. The results showed that most of the respondents experienced poor sleep quality as many as 166 respondents (92.4%) and respondents experienced burnout were 83 respondents (53.9%). The results of the analysis obtained a p-value of -0.170 > 0.170 which means that there is no significant relationship between sleep quality and burnout. Respondents who have poor sleep quality but do not experience burnout, one of which is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is starting to slant, but respondents still show alertness to the incidence of COVID-19 which is indicated by the presence of several signs of burnout experienced by respondents.","PeriodicalId":199429,"journal":{"name":"Media Keperawatan Indonesia","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133987871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to identify the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of nurses with the completeness of computerized-based nursing care documentation. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design and cross-sectional approach. The research population were a nurse at the inpatient unit and outpatient unit of Hospital X North Jakarta. The samples used were purposive techniques with 121 respondents. Univariate analysis of nurse knowledge obtained fewer knowledge data with 40 respondents (33.1%) knowledge of 10 respondents (8.3%) and good knowledge of 71 respondents (58.7%) for attitudes, nurses had less attitude with 57 respondents (47.1%) and good attitude of 64 respondents (52.9%). The results of bivariate research show that: there is a meaningful relationship between the knowledge and attitude of nurses with the completeness of documenting computerized-based nursing care at Hospital X North Jakarta, namely knowledge (p value= 0.000) and attitude (p-value = 0.000). These activities have a very bad impact on health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, people face many big challenges, one of which is social distancing in a sedentary lifestyle. The objective of this study is to describe changes in sedentary lifestyles among cardiovascular disease patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used was a literature review using 3 databases (Pubmed, Proquest, and Science Direct). The process of searching for articles using keywords and Boolean operators (AND, OR, or NOT) aims to define and expand the literature. The review found that the sedentary lifestyle increased up to 8 hours/day. In addition to what has been mentioned 4 other articles also mention an increase in sedentary lifestyle time and an increase in sitting time, this is in accordance with research conducted on the average daily duration of sedentary behaviour is 8.3 hours between Koreans and 7, 7 hours among American adults due to government regulations during the pandemic. All articles show that people who tend to be older and male have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular cases that lead to death during the COVID-19 pandemic. So it is necessary to expand the scope of information about the importance of physical activity so that all people with cardiovascular disease have high vigilance.","PeriodicalId":199429,"journal":{"name":"Media Keperawatan Indonesia","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117110025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, the quality of nursing care services is still unsatisfactory and influenced by various problems including problems of planning and scheduling nursing staff at each service shift. The purpose of this study was to identify the perception of the head’s room and team leader about the workload and planning of nursing staff at each service shift in Tasikmalaya City Hospital. The results showed that the perception of the head’s room and the team leader were mostly 20 nurses (51.3%) with good categories. The results of the survey using a questionnaire showed that the head’s room and the team leader stated that the daily workload seemed to make nurses tired and bored. Planning for nursing staff at each service shift, according to the head’s room and team leader, should be adjusted to the workload in their environment. Therefore, it is recommended to make adjustments to meet the needs of the nursing staff. Planning analysis needs to be done so that the placement of nurses in each inpatient room can be adjusted to the needs to improve health services, especially nursing services.","PeriodicalId":199429,"journal":{"name":"Media Keperawatan Indonesia","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134391148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
