When the Covid-19 pandemic first entered Sengon Village and continued to spread rapidly, researchers began working on a strategy to address the issue of food security. They also made attempts to approach the village government about empowering the locals. As a result, many victims in Sengon Village were exposed to Covid-19. Especially in food security, there is still weak supervision, primarily when the Emergency PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) is implemented. The research employs Participatory Action Research (PAR) with qualitative supporting data. Evaluation of this strategy is based on the strategies that have been implemented through programs starting from public awareness of food needs, the initial foundation for building food security in the village, to advocacy to the community for the policies of the Sengon village government itself, as well as evaluation of the mapping of sustainable actions. Post-research by analyzing village communities related to food security to food security institutions, one of which is the Women Farmers Group (KWT), to build and encourage an increase in food security in the village. The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of the food security strategy carried out by Destana (Disaster Resilient Village) was carried out very well by Sengon Village as one of the disaster-resilient villages in the Klaten district.","PeriodicalId":194266,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128730951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of accountants in each company has also become small, along with the development of financial statements that are already paperless. It is also experienced for a public accountant where every audit activity must be able to understand information technology. So that in every audit process, every client who uses a qualified financial system can be followed by the auditor concerned. This study aims to determine the influence of task complexity, budget time pressure, and auditor experience on audit quality. This study uses the understanding of information systems as a moderation variable to determine whether the relationship between the three variables can strengthen audit quality by understanding the information system for an auditor. This research was conducted at a Public Accounting Firm in Bali, with a sample determination method based on criteria. This study is looking for auditors with more than one year of experience as a sample of respondents. The regression tool used is moderation regression. The results of this study involved 56 respondents from 11 public accounting firms in Bali, understanding that the information system could not moderate the relationship of audit complexity to audit quality. Understanding information systems can weaken the relationship of time budget pressures to audit quality, and understanding information systems can also strengthen the relationship of work experience to audit quality.","PeriodicalId":194266,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128351963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Vocational schools in Kupang district are still struggling to get out of the Comfort Zone and towards the planned Revitalization. The research method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The informants for this research were determined purposively with a total of 50 people and then the researcher would carry out the data collection stages according to Creswell (2016: 254-255) as namely qualitative observation, qualitative interviews, tracking qualitative documents (qualitative documents) and qualitative audio and visual materials. The results of the study found that the implementation of the Vocational High School revitalization policy in Kupang Regency based on the theory of Edward III (1980:21) was found from the side of (1) communication was still not going well. (2) human resources have not run optimally, budget resources are still minimal and equipment resources have begun to appear. (3) the disposition found that the implementor should interpret the importance of this policy as the DNA of SMK as Vocational education. This is reflected in the lack of understanding of the Revitalization of Vocational High Schools in Kupang Regency itself due to the fact that the translation of revitalization is only an option or a choice, not a requirement. (4) the existing bureaucratic structure related to the Vocational School Revitalization Policy in Kupang Regency needs special attention from all lines, both related departments and schools that run it.","PeriodicalId":194266,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy","volume":"2015 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125895088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there has been insufficient attention to rigorous analysis of the ramifications of tourism beyond accounting for initial impacts. This study evaluates economic impacts of tourism in Rwanda by examining its effects on employment, labor incomes, and output and value addition. Rwanda’s 2014 Input-Output tables was used to compute direct, indirect, induced and total (SAM Type) multipliers which were interacted with internal tourism demand data from Rwanda’s 2014 tourism satellite account to estimate impacts. Labor income, output and value added multipliers indicate that tourism has strong linkages with service sectors, while the employment multiplier indicates robust linkages with agriculture. Results indicate that internal tourism demand created 29% of all jobs, generated 9.7% of labor incomes, 11.1% of total value addition and 12% of national output in 2014. Therefore, increasing internal tourism demand in Rwanda will lead to higher labor income, increased output and value addition and higher employment in agriculture and other associated sectors. This study’s main contribution is taking into account the predominantly informal sector of Rwanda’s economy especially with respect to the domestic tourism market. Future studies could estimate the magnitude of leakages from the economy through consumption and production processes.","PeriodicalId":194266,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130719035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Discussions and practices of tourism villages are trending both globally, nationally and regionally. South Tapanuli Regency is one of the areas that has implemented a tourism village policy. There are 18 tourist villages in South Tapanuli Regency and 6 of them are in Sipirok District. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the governance of 6 tourist villages in Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the coordination between the tourism office, village government, and Pokdarwis is not intense, resulting in different perceptions in the management of tourist villages. Several villages cooperate and coordinate with institutions outside the government so that they are assisted in managing tourism. Community participation can be seen when the village has found a tourist target that is in accordance with the existing tourism potential in the village.","PeriodicalId":194266,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131089289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
