Normal arterial blood oxygen saturation level among humans varies from 97 to 100 percent (+/- 5%). SpO2 less than 90% is low, so-called Hypoxemia. Today, COVID patients need frequent and precise SpO2 assessments. Current pulse oximeters demand a contact-based measurement setup employing clips or sensors, which raises the possibility of skin irritation and infection. Additionally, depending on the patient’s age and finger size, pulse oximeters don’t always fit comfortably on everyone’s fingertips, which might result in misleading findings. Other restrictions of the current devices include errors brought on by interference, venous pulsations, skin problems, insufficient perfusion, light interference, and the presence of nail polish. This work offers a successful technique for non-contact SpO2 measurement from facial recordings. The videos show 31 participants doing three activities in various lighting situations. Each activity must be recorded with a camera mounted to a tripod. The obtained films go through pre-processing procedures include converting video to frames, discarding the background, finding faces, choosing regions of interest (RoI), and isolating the RGB channels. The SpO2 level is computed using the red and blue channels, which correspond to the red and infrared light used in contact pulse oximeters. In order to determine the pulsatile absorbance rate, the AC and DC components of the Red (R) and Blue (B) channels are separated. SpO2 will be predicted from the R-R ratio and its related parameter using Linear regression. Root mean squared error (RMSE) is the error between estimated and actual SpO2’s that is calculated for various skin tone participants. From the experiment, it is inferred that medium lighting with a lux range of 200-500 is a minimum requirement to estimate SpO2 which offers low RMSE for all skin types.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125901003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modified NCFET is Metal-ferroelectric-metal-insulator-metal-oxide-semiconductor (MFMIMOS) FET (with spacer) in the way of layering at gate stack with a high-K dielectric substrate region. The conductivity of the channel is controlled by applied gate voltage (Vgs). The study includes the architecture of both NCFET and their parameter comparison like the drain current (ID), threshold voltage (Vth), etc. Further, the temperature analysis was done at temperature range of 300 K, 400 K and 500 K for the modified MFMIMOS (MFMIMOS with spacer) structure. All the simulation are carried out on the visual TCAD simulator and from the analysis we found that the off - state current (IOFF) is reduced with decrease in temperature for modified MFMIMOS, which results in higher switching ratio (ION /IOFF) and enhanced threshold voltage (Vth) when we move from 500 K to 300 K.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"27 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120845837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, because of its wider accessibility and popularity, it becomes the most vulnerable biometric modality. These days spoofing attacks have become prevelant by which a fake user impersonates a genuine user. These attacks include photo attacks, video attacks and 3D mask attacks. For this a robust face spoofing detection system has been deployed consisting of handcrafted features. These features include rotation invariant Zernike moments, Polar Harmonic Transforms, discrete orthogonal moments consisting of Krawtchouk, Tchebichef and Dual-Hahn. The feature-set is invariant to rotation, scale and translation. These local features capture micro variations in an image that makes it possible for the system to differentiate between a genuine and a fake spoofed sample. For performance evaluation, publicly available databases: CASIA-FASD, REPLAY-ATTACK and OULU-NPU have been deployed. The proposed methodology shows an accuracy of 99.98% for CASIA-FASD, 99.98% for Replay-Attack and 99.95% for OULU-NPU databases. In case of OULU-NPU database, an ACER of as minimum as 1.95%, an APCER of 2.34% and BPCER of 1.56% is achieved. In addition to this, an EER of 0.063% and HTER of 0.165% is achieved for REPLAY-ATTACK database. For CASIA-FASD database, an EER of 1.698% is achieved. Thus, the proposed methodology shows a superior performance in comparison to techniques available in the literature survey.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121185006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The spectrum of OFC contains 40 comb lines and 3-dB power deviation. This broad spectrum is achieved by cascading LiNbO3 Mach-Zehnder Modulator in series followed by electro absorption modulator (EAM). The DC bias and amplitude of RF signal is adjusted to get broadness as well as flatness in OFC generation. The method is simple to achieve the desired characteristics of optical spectrum. Different parameters of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) such as injection current as well as carrier density are confined to get broadness in spectrum. For various uses in optical communications and radio frequency photonics, the creation of high repetition rate optical frequency combs with an incredibly wide coherent spectrum is crucial. The generated optical frequency comb can be applicable to act as multi-channel source in communication system.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115434474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main reason for the wide acceptance of this mode of public transport is that it is economical as compared to a CNG auto, reduces air pollution, and provides better income opportunities. Over time, three major issues emerge related to the rise in fares, increased grid stress due to an increase in load demand for charging, and unsystematic disposal of lead-acid batteries. Presently, architectures for the charging station are available in the market but they are based on-grid supply which results in additional stress on the existing grid. In this proposed work a dedicated real-time socio-economic case study has been done to explore issues at the ground level to develop a photovoltaic (PV) based off-grid battery charging & swapping station (BCSS) and define a new category of E-rickshaw. The BCSS is proposed keeping objectives in mind to increase the return on investment (ROI) of both E-rickshaw owners by defining new a category & charging stations with fast recovery on the initial investments.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131143446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Public acceptance remained a huge challenge due to security threats, by integrating a more secure decentralized form of ledger these issues can be addressed efficiently. Smart contracts are pre-programmed contract layouts that are self-executed and self-enforceable when the pre-set conditions are triggered without the intervention of any third party. This is non-empirical research conducted by reviewing various research work and gaps in their research to understand the role and challenges faced by smart contracts to become a working model and further, analyzed integration of various technologies namely blockchain, digital signature, and cloud-computing to build smart contracts to simplify the execution of traditional contracts which will entirely reform the present legal system. Issues such as rigidity from any alteration, uncontrollability, and difficulty to understand the coded language by ordinary prudent men of any smart contract are considered in this study. Finally, this research paper has elaborated on the process of execution of smart contracts and technology intervention at each stage, with a detailed explanation of the process of formation of smart contracts. It also aims to make some recommendations for further improvement of smart contracts. In future, the author aims to take this research ahead by examine the practical working model of smart contracts and their fallbacks.","PeriodicalId":193577,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference (DELCON)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126805641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
