Sumarni","doi":"10.20961/seeds.v4i1.18076","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20961/seeds.v4i1.18076","url":null,"abstract":"Cooperative learning model Jigsaw which collaborated with lesson study is one of the strategies used to stimulate the students’ participation in the learning process, especially in solving and explaining each answer of problems given by the teacher so that the learning process is not only centered on the teacher but also the students. The purposes of this research are to: (1) determine the application of the appropriate steps in order to increase students’ participation and students’ learning outcome through Jigsaw cooperative learning model with lesson study; (2) to know the improvement of students’ participation and students’ learning outcome for the Engineering Mechanics subject of grade X of state SMK in Sukoharjo through the implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning model with lesson study. This research is a classroom action research which conducted in three cycles.The results showed that: (1) there was appropriate application of steps in improving the students’ participation and students’ learning outcome in accordance with the Jigsaw cooperative learning model through lesson study; (2) students became more active in participating in grade, such as asking, giving opinion, and discussion. The percentage of completeness of students’ learning outcome in the cognitive area of pre-cycle was 30%, 64.71% in the first cycle, 79.41% in the second cycle, and 82.35% in the third cycle. Then, in term of students’ learning outcome in the affective area, most students were predicated Very Good and Good. Next, the percentage of completeness student learning outcome in the pre-cycle of psychomotor was 26.67%, 61.76% in the first cycle, 79.41% in the second cycle, and 85.29% in the third cycle. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan supervisi setiap guru dan ditemukan bahwa guru pasif dalam menggunakan alat peraga dan diperbanyak tanya jawab lisan serta mengerjakan soal latihan pada lembar kerja siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan alat peraga melalui bimbingan simulasi. Penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. Pelaksanaan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tiga pertemuan yang dilakukan lewat bimbingan simulasi dan dengan partisipan penelitian delapan guru. Hasil nilai kemampuan guru menggunakan alat peraga terendah kategori E naik pada siklus I dan naik lagi pada siklus II menjadi kategori C. Untuk nilai tertinggi kondisi awal kategori D naik pada siklus I menjadi kategori B dan naik lagi pada siklus II naik menjadi kategori A. Untuk nilai rata-rata kondisi awal kategori E naik pada siklus I menjadi kategori C dan naik lagi pada siklus II menjadi rerata kategori B. Indikator kinerja pada kondisi awal rata-rata mencapai klasifikasi E, kondisi hasil siklus I indikator kinerja rerata meningkat mencapai klasifikasi C, dan kondisi hasil siklus II indikator kinerja dengan rerata mencapai klasifikasi B, Terjadi peningkatan dari kondisi awal sampai siklus II sebesar 3,4 – 1,73 = 1,67. The creativity of the teacher is needed to build participation, including the use of media. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the use of sticky note media on student participation in economic learning. The results of this study indicate that the use of sticky note media is an alternative media in the form of paper of a certain size which is given to all students as a means to write things that are not understood or want to be asked from the display of images that become learning material. Using sticky notes shows that student participation in learning activities is better than without using media.
