The inerter is a mechanical device that was proposed to passively attenuate vibrations. The prototype of the rack-pinion inerter with the two degrees of freedom system and simulation results obtained in the MSC Adams software are presented. Results of this analysis are presented, where it is observed that the inerter attenuates the vibration amplitudes, presenting a better performance in the second resonance, when it is coupled between the two masses, in addition to keeping the oscillations stable in both masses. These results are validated experimentally, under the conditions of the two system resonances.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"204 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122829285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the data collected from experimental and practical tests, it is concluded that the rectangular antenna selection was appropriate because with them, the received video signal was improved, compared to the original system antennas. Therefore, the performance in this aspect is improved, and a lighter system is obtained, besides the orientation of the antennas is easier to perform. The parameter epsilon is a diffusion coefficient, and can take some values that in-crease the noise into the state and the observations equations. The performance of these RS filters was compared vs polynomial filtering equations. Simulation results show that the error values are smaller for RS filtering equations for all values of the diffusion parameter epsilon in final time T.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125721698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, it is important to predict the quality of software in early phases, by this way, it helps to reduce testing resources. Some classification algorithms have been used for software defect prediction. In this paper five algorithms were evaluated and compared according to accuracy metric using three PROMISE datasets. For the evaluation, two classifiers were used which are focus on decision trees and three Bayesian classifiers. Results shows that even when percentages of accuracy are high on each classifier, decision trees got the highest percentage compared to Bayesian classifiers.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115360547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both controllers are based on a candidate Lyapunov function, resulting in a control scheme that depends on parameters of the system dynamic model. For the above, it is required to know the robot mathematical model, which is described in this work. The mathematical model and the control algorithms developed are simulated in Matlab/simulink, thus validating the proposals behaviour. The results consider the presence of disturbances and the analysis of performance indices based on the error. In this way, it is shown that the Backstepping controller more accurately follows the desired path in the X-Y plane compared to the PD+ controller.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123399796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This review is oriented to higher education beginners, both in computer vision and learning algorithms, which are looking for the comprehension of the general literature in order to propose a technological and educational innovation project. The review is focused on the seven stages related with the point cloud generation from images, which are picture extraction, picture matching, camera motion estimation, sparse 3D reconstruction, model parameters correction, absolute scale recovery, and dense 3D reconstruction. As the first five stages are known as Structure from Motion (SfM), the papers were presented in three groups: i) One dealing with one, some or the whole stages of SfM. ii) Another centered on absolute scale recovery. iii) One more related to dSfM (dense SfM) and dense 3D reconstruction. Then, a discussion on the problems faced in reported literature is provided, identifying complex computational problems in each group, such as overstock for images, lack of depth, lack of detail, high processing time, and big size of the point cloud. Lastly, a conclusion regarding the benefits and limitations of the reviewed contributions is given.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134637272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is expected that high-income countries will experience waste generation growth in the future. A forecast shows that by 2050 there will be an exponential increase of close to 3.4 billion tonnes per year. Therefore, it is urgent to reduce the levels of garbage that are produced in the world. A possible solution is to develop recycling systems in all the big cities. In this regard, we propose a mechatronic system to separate solid wastes into four categories. To determine the category to which the inorganic waste belongs, we used a combination of four different sensors: inductive, capacitive, infrared, and ultrasonic sensors. To evaluate the efficiency of this proposal, we carried out tests that showed the individual conduct of every component and the total efficiency of the device, obtaining at least 75 percent in overall efficiency.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124540764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
