The TTA developed is based on the design of the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey (BBVO) and the dimensions of the Kari TR-60. The tiltrotor was built in the Plane Maker software, starting from the geometry of the BBVO. Subsequently, it is exported to X-plane and communication with Matlab is carried out. Thus, it is possible to access the flight information of the TTA. Additionally, the relationship of the final elements of tiltrotor control and the forces required to manipulate the TTA is described. As a result, a control scheme is applied for the take-off stage, showing the interaction between Matlab and X-plane. Finally, the results are discussed.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130793479","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among the successful stories, mathematical models predict the rate of increase in weight of aquaculture specimens. However, the current feed dosage proposals have poor performance, jeopardizing the sustainability of this commercial activity. Therefore, this work proposes, via simulation, the identification of a case study of a tilapia breeding farm in the state of Colima and the design, implementation, and validation of an error minimization method for identifying the feed dosing rate as a function of time. The proposed analytical method proved to be a competitive tool concerning stochastic and analytical strategies.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114858206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the mathematical model, the Newton–Euler formulation is used to obtain the equations of motion of the coaxial vehicle. To reach a robust trajectory tracking on SE(3), a guidance frame is defined and the control algorithm is a saturated PD in cascade for position dynamics and for the orientation dynamics of the vehicle. In this sense, a numerical simulation is run to validate the proposed control algorithm with and without wind disturbances. In effect, the proposed guidance frame is proposed to converge to the desired values whereas the saturated control avoids the overshoots of the state variables.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129349778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the heat treatment is a very important task on manufacturing industry, processes like tempering on D2 and H13 steels are essential at the present industry. Therefore, is necessary to have tools that help us to understand the behavior of the process and at the same time made accurate predictions. The regression models are used to complete this task, however due to the complexity of the tempering process are necessary other type of models. Fuzzy models are widely used to model manufacturing processes. In most of the cases those processes have high variability, uncertainty, ambiguity, and nonlinearity. Further, fuzzy models incorporate the experience and knowledge of the expert of the process. Nevertheless, fuzzy models do not have the structure to be analyzed through statistical metrics, one of them is the statistic metric R2. This work demonstrates that the fuzzy models do not have the statistical basis to apply a statistical analysis like R2 and ANOVA, so it is proposing a methodology to transform a fuzzy model to a fuzzy least squares model. The above, using the membership functions and the if-then rules to transform the fuzzy model into a fuzzy least squares model. This methodology was applied on a tempering process which has as an input variables time of tempering, supplier, steel, and temperature, as output variable the hardness of the steel. Fuzzy least squares model shows an improve of 40% over the fuzzy model on the statistic metric R2, which means a better prediction to the process.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"76 8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116733603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed model uses the steering commands with constant velocity to quickly track the desired reference path. The prediction of future movements can help improve how the planar vehicle dynamics are controlled in physical scenarios. Different acceleration profiles are tested to verify the model performance. This paper explains the basics of MPC in the described context. It compares and contrasts the performance of the MPC-based and a PID controller while executing the same maneuver. The results were analyzed using the root-mean-square and maximum error from time-domain signals. It is shown that in some instances, the model predictive control strategy has key benefits when compared to its conventional control counterpart.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122996096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the main concerns of self-driven cars interacting with humans in the streets is safety. How safely a car can navigate has been proven to greatly improve using sensor fusion, which allows it to approach different angles and assist the system to better understand the environment. The trend in this specific industry is shifting towards electric vehicles. Due to the nature of batteries, the current technological advancements and practicality, it is important to optimize the systems and analyze power consumption, as to not decrease the car’s range significantly. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the energy impact on the system when adding LiDAR sensors to an electric car. The energy demand will be determined by the electrical requirements of the sensors, together with the aerodynamics changes in the different configurations, and will be measured in Watts. After designing, building, and testing three different configurations, and comparing them to the control sample, a proposed model will be presented. The proposed model will take into consideration not only the power demand on the system, but the practicality, obtained by the analysis of the Field of View (FOV) it can offer.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131464386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use, study and application of filters for the experimental analysis of signals has increased over the years and offers several advantages, for this reason it is required that the theoretical analyzes be precise and efficient. The models can make concrete predictions for a large amount of numerical data, this is how a model plays a very important role in theoretical analysis, but it can also be compared with a computational analysis and evaluate results. The implementation and verification of mathematical models in different areas have generated excellent results, in this work the study and analysis of the mathematical model of a moving average filter is shown, the objective of this filter is to mathematically show its filtering function and for this it is exemplified a case of cardiac frequency, where also the purpose of the filter is to obtain a pure and improved signal from a signal with noise, after which it is also computationally verified and the results are evaluated.","PeriodicalId":188801,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Mechatronics, Electronics and Automotive Engineering (ICMEAE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132583743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
