Yu. Lermontov - unrealized, unclaimed, having a variable character, replaced by previous and subsequent options, hidden. The writer brings into focus the tendency for etiquette formulas of gratitude to expand their functions. The article highlights typical strategies of using etiquette phrases in the discourse of conflict including their use as markers of open and covert speech aggression. Kierkegaard. The musicality is an important feature of this work. The author attempts to combine the languages of music and prose, and a unique philosophical and literary text is born on the border of two types of art. Kierkegaard considered Mozart’s opera «Don Giovanni» as the pinnacle of musical creativity. Through the character of Don Juan, the philosopher recreates the type of aesthetic personality in the spirit of romanticism and shows the vulnerability of the romantic worldview. «Either-or» includes works written in different genres and reflecting opposing attitudes in life. The ambiguous symbolism of water is viewed, on the one hand, as an allusion to the spontaneous irrepressible power of the Russian people; on the other - as a special space, a kind of interworld, where the characters of the stories must undergo initiation. The idea of the Church is considered as a sense-forming element of the author’s concept of the novel. It is proved that the Church is understood by Dostoevsky not only as a social institution, manifested in the microcosm of the monastic structure, but also as a community of the entire created world, acquired by him in his Creator. The idea of the Church in the novel is intertwined with the idea of the unity of the visible and invisible worlds, the ideas of spiritual overcoming of spatial distance and physical time. The poetics of his works demonstrates a systematic interest in a variety of sensory modes, the intertextual correlation of which generates a special structure of the plot. Inheriting the conceptions of M. Lermontov, F. Touché and others, Fet gives impetus to the development of polysensory in the future, including Ya. Polonsky and A. Such a force impends over a character during a long time and, suddenly, actualizes physically. As a result, a character fights against the fatal forces or loses his/her will - falls without unconscious (the most frequent reaction), begs for mercy or runs away. Insistent repeatability of the situation revels here a structural invariant.
