Singh","doi":"10.33086/mhsj.v7i01.3807","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33086/mhsj.v7i01.3807","url":null,"abstract":"Background & Aim: Acute viral hepatitis (AVH) is a condition that is known to be caused by enterically transmitting Hepatitis A virus (HAV) and Hepatitis E virus (HEV). Usually, they result in self-limiting disease but can be seriously threatening if complications arise. This study was done to determine the prevalence rate of HAV and HEV in a tertiary care hospital in East Delhi, India. \u0000Material & Methods: The retrospective and observational study of 2-year duration was conducted in the Department of Microbiology at UCMS and GTBH Delhi, India. A total of 410 samples from patients presenting with a clinical diagnosis of acute hepatitis were considered in the study. The serum samples were analysed for IgM anti-HAV and IgM anti-HEV, respectively, using commercially available ELISA kits. \u0000Results: The seroprevalence of HAV and HEV were 2.19% and 0.24%, respectively. No case was found to be reactive for both parameters, indicating no case of co-infection. The majority of clinical samples were from female patients. \u0000Conclusion: The incidence of HEV and HAV illnesses suggests that East Delhi has a lower prevalence rate of the reported viral illnesses. This finding suggests one of the following: limited circulation of the agents, good sanitary conditions, and/or protective immunity among the population tested. One of the key factors for the success of DHF eradication is community behavior which includes knowledge, attitudes, and actions. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review by analyzing the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the act of eradicating mosquito nests based on 7 (seven) journal articles that have been selected from the selection process measured using the quality assessment of the literature Quality Assessment Tool for Quantitative Studies from the Effective Public Health Practice Project (EPHPP) which assesses selection bias, study design, confounders, blinding, data collection methods and withdrawals and dropouts so that the quality of the reviewed journals can be seen. The quality assessment of the journal resulted in 3 points: Strong, Moderate, and Weak. The result is that most respondents are housewives. Knowledge level is good, attitude level is good, and action is good enough. There is a relationship between knowledge and action and there is a relationship between attitude and action. Escherichia coli (E. coli) is one of the germs that cause various kinds of infections and currently many are reported to have experienced resistance to a number of conventional antibiotics. The purpose of this study was to explore the antibacterial activity of purple eggplant ethyl acetate extract against Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria. This research is an experimental study using the microdilution method to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and the spread-plate method to determine the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). This study used various doses of purple eggplant ethyl acetate extract (5-40 mg/mL) as the treatment group and the control group that was not given purple eggplant ethyl acetate extract. Purple eggplant ethyl acetate extract has a MIC value of 20 mg/mL and a MIC value of 20 mg/mL. The percentage of inhibition of purple eggplant ethyl acetate extract against E. coli bacteria was greater with the higher concentration used. Stres dapat berkurang dengan adanya penambahan pengetahuan melalui suatu informasi dan edukasi yang disampaikan dari media aplikasi. Aplikasi visiting patient adalah aplikasi berbasis android berisi tentang keutamaan orang yang sedang sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi visiting patient terhadap tingkat stres pasien rawat inap RS Margono Soekarjo. \u0000Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuantitatif quasi experimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre and post-test with control group design. Teknik pengambilan data secara non random sampling dengan pendekatan consecutive sampling. Jumlah responden 24 kontrol dan 24 intervensi. Pengukuran tingkat stres menggunakan kuesioner Depression and Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 21. \u0000Hasil: Rerata tingkat stres pre-test pada kelompok kontrol 9.67 dan pada kelompok intervensi 11.92, sedangkan rerata post-test pada kelompok kontrol 10.67 dan pada kelompok intervensi 10.25. Hasil uji Dependent T-Test kelompok intervensi didapatkan p=0.069 (p>0.05) yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada kelompok intervensi, sedangkan kelompok kontrol didapatkan p=0.037 (p<0.05) yang berarti ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada kelompok kontrol. Thus patients and families have the right to understand their actual health condition. Delivering bad news could lead to an uncomfortable situation when the patients and their families showed negative reactions to the conversation. Moreover, such a situation could lead to a negative experience and could develop into a bad emotional experience between doctor and patient. Communication problems are identified as the main factor in delivering bad news. On the other side, culture, the main factor that determines the result of communication, would play an important role in this situation. This paper aimed to explore the family’s role in the process of delivering bad news from physicians to their patients. Qualitative methods were conducted in this paper using in-depth interviews with 7 family members of patients in a terminal condition. Retinopathy diabetics is the 5th disease that causes vision impairment the most worldwide. One of the risk factors of retinopathy diabetics is triglycerides. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is ranked as the 4th most occurring disease at Fasilitas Kesehatan Tingkat Pertama (FKTP) Klinik Tanjung Purwokerto. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between triglycerides and retinopathy diabetics in Fasilitas Kesehatan Tingkat Pertama (FKTP) Klinik Tanjung Purwokerto. This research was an observational analytic study using a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 34 patient type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at PROLANIS FKTP Klinik Tanjung purwokerto, using consecutive sampling technique. Collected data for triglyceride variables was by blood laboratory test, while data for retinopathy diabetics was by diagnosis of the ophthalmologist. Chi-Square 2x2 is used to analyze the hypothesis. The result of bivariate analysis between triglyceride and retinopati diabetics using Chi-Square 2x2 test showed p value: 0,09. Validitas dan reliabilitas pekerja kerah biru versi Nordik Muskuloskeletal Questionnare (NMQ) versi Indonesia merupakan kelanjutan dari validitas sebelumnya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan validitas dan reliabilitas Nordic Musculosceletal Questionnare (NMQ) dalam Bahasa Indonesia yang dapat digunakan untuk pekerja kerah biru. Kuesioner terjemahan menyederhanakan kata-kata dalam kalimat dan bahasa melalui panel diskusi ahli. Kuesioner telah diuji untuk mengetahui uji korelasi dan validitas antar butir, kemudian diuji reliabilitasnya dengan teknik pengukuran yaitu dalam waktu 7 hari untuk mendapatkan nilai Alpha Chronbach. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 20 untuk hasil akhir. As many as 16% of women who experience dysmenorrhoea cannot be treated with analgesic medicine and require work breaks. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and attitudes towards dysmenorrhoea at SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga. This research was a non-experimental descriptive survey with a cross-sectional design. The sample of this research was 68 female students of class X to XII SMA N 1 Purbalingga which were taken by a simple random sampling technique. The analysis technique used was univariate and bivariate analysis (product moment correlation test) with the help of the SPSS for windows release 11.0 program. Knowledge of teenage girl about reproductive health at SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga in the good category 26 students (38.2%), 40 students (58.8%) quite good, 1 student (1.5%) not good, and 1 student very poor (1.5%). Attitude towards dysmenorrhoea was mostly in the unfavorable category of 39 female students (57.4%), 24 female students (35.3%) quite good, and 5 female students very poor (7.4%). There is a significant relationship (rcount > rtable) between adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health and attitudes towards dysmenorrhoea with an rcount of 0.408 and it is in the medium category.
