Firstly, six different hybrid schemes are designed based on different structural forms and various types of hybrid composites. The finite element modeling of hybrid composite lattice panels under various boundary conditions is performed. Mesh convergence analysis is carried out before parametric studies are given and discussed in detail. The effects of hybrid schemes, lamination schemes, thickness ratios, layup angles, and boundary conditions on the fundamental frequencies and modes of hybrid lattice sandwich panels are studied. The results show that higher natural frequencies can be obtained by placing high modulus CFRP in the lattice core, and different hybrid schemes have a more significant effect on high mode frequencies than low mode frequencies. The present data in this paper can also serve as a benchmark for future researches.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133150820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our previous research, we included environment characteristics in the scope of formal specification verification for embedded systems and proposed a requirement consistency verification method based on an environment model. However, we found that this method was not sufficiently efficient. To address this issue, this paper defines this environment model introduced inconsistency as mutually exclusive inconsistency, based on its representation characteristics, and proposes an efficient static verification approach for embedded systems. We reduce the consistency verification problem to the traversal of a graph. To support the proposed approach, we implement a requirement consistency verification tool, called Env-Consistency, and apply it to industrial cases. To illustrate the advantages of this approach, several sets of comparative experiments are designed, which demonstrates our approach is both effective and efficient.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127264062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the Arrhenius model and N-L model, the motor’s 18-year storage life is compressed into 18 environmental test profiles. Then, a test system was built to conduct critical performance testing at different time points during the test process. The measured impedance frequency response data, starting torque and locked torque were statistically analyzed. It was found that the resonant frequency of the ultrasonic motor gradually decreased with the prolongation of the storage test time; the starting torque increased gradually with the prolongation of the storage time; and the locked torque showed no obvious regularity with time. The reasons for these characteristics were briefly analyzed, providing reference data for the design improvement of ultrasonic motors.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124982416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the gear transmission system operates, the gear pair is often in a mixed lubrication state. Aiming at the problem of gear wear under mixed lubrication, a wear correction model is proposed based on wear rate coefficient identification and combined with mixed lubrication theory. Firstly, the force and motion parameters during gear meshing are analyzed and calculated. Then, the obtained results are used as input parameters for hybrid lubrication solution to obtain the rough peak contact ratio and friction coefficient. At the same time, wear experiments were conducted to measure the surface topography and calculate the wear amount of the tooth surface using a super depth of field three-dimensional microscope. Then, the wear rate coefficient is identified based on experimental data under different operating conditions. Finally, based on the mixed lubrication solution results and the wear rate coefficients obtained from experimental data, a modified wear prediction model equation for gear pairs is obtained. Using this model can better analyze the wear of gear pairs under mixed lubrication, and predict the performance degradation and even the remaining life of gear transmission systems.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134518761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the small number of LRE samples and the highly unbalanced categories pose difficulties for the training of intelligent diagnostic models. To address the problem of the unbalanced distribution of LRE sample categories, an empirical knowledge reconstruction expression model is proposed. Instead of the traditional sample-label one-to-one training model, the model represents the operational status of the input samples by measuring the similarity between the input samples and each sample in the historical knowledge base, combined with the expert knowledge in the historical experience base. The model combines the powerful data mining capability of the neural network model with the precise point analysis capability of the expert knowledge, while the continuously improved historical sample distribution and expert knowledge and experience base provide the scientific basis for the state discrimination and improvement direction of LRE. Further, the validity and engineering value of the proposed method was verified using real LRE test drive data.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134404362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, improving compression performance while maintaining image quality remains a challenge. This paper presents a study on the application of Trellis Coded Quantization (TCQ) techniques which are used in many video coding such as VVC and H.264 to enhance JPEG compression. Trellis coded quantization(TCQ), a robust quantization technique, reduces errors and enhances compression efficiency. This research implements TCQ in different stages of the JPEG compression pipeline, including Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) coefficient quantization and entropy coding. The proposed method achieves progressive coding by adaptively allocating bit budgets to different frequency bands during quantization, in which way we can get better quantization indexes for coding. The trellis quantization algorithm optimizes the quantization process by considering both the rate-distortion performance and quantization noise shaping. Experimental results demonstrate that the TCQ-based approach outperforms conventional JPEG compression by 27.3% to 34% in terms of compression efficiency and image quality preservation in presented datasets with a little more compression time cost. Furthermore, the study investigates the impact of different parameters and configurations on the performance of TCQ. It explores trade-offs between compression efficiency, visual quality, and computational complexity. The findings indicate that TCQ can significantly enhance the compression performance of JPEG while maintaining competitive image quality. The research also discusses the limitations and potential extensions of TCQ in JPEG compression. Future work may focus on exploring adaptive strategies for bit allocation and trellis quantization optimization, as well as investigating the integration of TCQ with other advanced compression techniques. In conclusion, this paper presents a comprehensive investigation of Trellis Coded Quantization for JPEG compression. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of TCQ in improving compression efficiency and image quality, thereby contributing to the advancement of JPEG compression techniques.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131026725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, EFSM-based test case generation is susceptible to the infeasible (inexecutable) path problem, which stems from the conflict of predicates (guards) between transitions in the path. Therefore, in order to derive feasible test cases, a test generation algorithm needs to dynamically acquire information about the model and verify the feasibility of the generated test path through the simulation execution of the model. The traditional method of constructing executable models using hard-coding for different EFSM models under test has limitations such as inflexibility, time-consuming and error-prone. To address this issue, this paper proposes a parsing-based approach, PBACE, for building the executable EFSM for testing EFSM-specified systems, which can support the automatic generation of executable test cases. It decouples the EFSM model description, parsing and simulation execution functions from the test generation algorithm, which can effectively improve the efficiency and quality of test generation. In particular, PBACE first uses a well-designed JSON syntax to describe the specific EFSM under test. Then, based on the model description file, it uses lexical and syntactic parsers to dynamically extract model information to construct various model objects in memory such as state configurations, transitions, etc. Finally, the proposed method provides a series of service interfaces to support model information acquisition, transition feasibility evaluation, and model simulation execution. A case study of test sequence generation for the SCP protocol model demonstrates the capability and promise of our approach to serve executable test cases.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133783148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
