Our approach demonstrates significant improvements in temperature stability, control accuracy, and energy efficiency. Successfully applied to several cement production lines in China, the proposed strategy optimizes the cement production process. Future work will focus on enhancing the system’s adaptability to unforeseen circumstances through big data analysis techniques and a data fingerprint-based behavior pattern classification approach.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"16 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120836868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the original Survival Signature is appropriate for binary systems, while engineering systems often exhibit multi-state characteristics and are subjected to uncertainties caused by various factors such as dynamic environment and performance degradation. Therefore, this paper introduces the extension of the Survival Signature from binary to multi-state formula and simultaneously considers the impact of mixed uncertainties on system reliability. For the probability distribution of multi-state components, a homogeneous Markov model is used for modeling and derivation. Component importance analysis is implemented and component sensitivity is quantified based on the double-loop Monte Carlo simulation method. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a bridge structure system, and the results show that the method has high feasibility for systems with regular state transition rules.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128039872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Control Flow Integrity is a critical concern in embedded system security, and the CFG can be integrated with hardware circuit design to validate CFI. In this paper, we present a static CFG extraction scheme for RISC-V program based on the executable files. During the construction of CFGs, information such as instructions in each basic blocks, basic block length, transfer instructions of basic blocks, and transfer targets can be extracted. Additionally, data such as hash values for basic blocks can be calculated. Those metadata elements are sensitive information for the subsequent runtime CFI check. We use this extraction scheme to perform static analysis on several benchmark programs, and experimental results demonstrate that this scheme can generate correct CFGs and key sensitive information for runtime CFI verification.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122215245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method supports the extraction modelling of general fault models, which can be combined with the specific characteristics of multi-level parameters to form a more complete product model library. Based on different fault features, the basic model and general algorithm of fault feature recognition are established, so as to form a complete support for fault simulation process. However, when the network conditions are poor and the image content changes significantly, this mechanism can lead to problems such as video playback stuttering and high network bandwidth usage. To address these issues, a High Motion Region Detection Algorithm (HMRDA) and an Intra-Image Partition-based Differential Coding Algorithm (IIPDCA) are proposed based on the X2Go KDrive protocol. First, the high-motion regions with significant changes in image content are identified, and then the differential coding method is used to encode the high and low-motion regions separately. The high-motion regions are encoded using the H.264 video compression standard instead of the JPEG and PNG image coding methods in the original protocol, while the low-motion regions are encoded using JPEG image coding. Finally, WebGL technology is used to render the images. Experiments show that the improved protocol can reduce network bandwidth usage during video playback, improve playback smoothness, and provide a better cloud desktop usage experience.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128869814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The existing magnet-based method involves complex calibration procedure, which is sensitive to the radiation of the environment, and the sensor module can hardly be placed in the tiny gap between array of the fuel rods. Here, we demonstrated an extended industrial application of 1310 nm wavelength-based spectral domain optical coherence tomography for the non-destructive in-situ thickness measurement of the aforementioned $mathrm{Z}mathrm{r}mathrm{O}_{2}$ materials coated on the fuel rod. The nature of optical fiber overcomes the aforementioned challenges for magnet-based methods. The acquired data show a high signal to noise ratio and distinct difference between different thickness, and thus confirms the potential applicability of optical coherence tomography for in-situ thickness measurement of coated $mathrm{Z}mathrm{r}mathrm{O}_{2}$ materials.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124535394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) often only consider whether nodes are connected or calculate the weight of the links through node features when they apply network structure and features to learn node representation in the manner of neighborhood aggregation, while neglecting the intrinsic value of links. This paper analyzes the value of links based on network structure and proposes corresponding evaluation metrics. It integrates the value of links into the construction and training of the link prediction graph attention network, not only improving the performance of the link prediction, but also providing theoretical support for the interpretability of the prediction results. Extensive link prediction experiments were carried out on representative open graph benchmark data, and the results show that the link prediction framework proposed in this paper has good performance and generalization capabilities.","PeriodicalId":185173,"journal":{"name":"2023 9th International Symposium on System Security, Safety, and Reliability (ISSSR)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131456512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
